Absolutely Amazing Sushi!!! First time there was today 5/31/22... well be back again as soon as I'm not so stuffed!!! Fantastic service!!

Very good gyoza both steamed and fried. I got the salmon bento box and the salmon was pretty good but the beef and rice was REALLY good. Not the best sushi I’ve ever had but what do you expect in Mankato Minnesota?

My food was bland. It doesn't taste good. And the shrimp was cold. Overall its 2/10 for me.

I’ve eaten a fair amount of sushi from places near and afar. But these rolls were Manka-totally d-eel-icious!… 🫢😤😭 Okay okay, all jokes aside, the fried one you see right out front was killer! 🔥Here’s the lineup from front to back in the first shot: Volcano Roll 🌋 🍣 with Spicy tuna, avocado, served with eel sauce and spicy mayo Futomaki Roll 🍱 with vegetables and egg Mankato Roll 🍤 with Fried shrimp, cucumber, spicy tuna and crunchy on top, served with eel sauce and spicy mayo All from Tokyo sushi and Hibachi in Mankato, MN 🗺 No b-roll here—we enjoyed all three! 😁The Mankato and Volcano were undeniably stars, but I’d say they were a tie. The warm, crispy exterior of the Volcano roll was far from subpar, perfectly complementing the smooth, flavorful inside👌 Although… the Mankato has a more complex textural composition, and you get to try a bit of the fried flavor with the tempura shrimp, which might take it to the top spot for me🤔☝️ The Futomaki was a fine, simple item of purity. Nothing flashy, just a good old sushi roll😋 Nothing fishy about this place! 😄 Expect average prices, an intimate atmosphere, an abundance of variety on the menu, and an all-around great meal from Tokyo 💯 Thanks to Cody for shooting some footage while showin’ me this sushi joint and selecting some fantastic dishes!! 🤝

Always good Sushi and reasonable prices, was surprised to get it on a boat. Found out if you order 5 or more specialty rolls that's how they serve you.

I have to say I have had sushi at every single possible location 8n the city of Mankato. And Tokyo Sushi and Hibachi is by far, above and beyond the very best in the entire Mankato area. The staff are so kind and curtious and the food is the very best. Plus thete is more than amble parking. Don't worry go to Tokyo Sushi.

Went with my dad, who was hesitant since the last time he had sushi it didn't agree with him. He ordered one of their hibachi dinners and couldn't stop complimenting everything the whole meal, he loved it!

3 stars for the food. 2 pieces of the sashimi didn't taste good at all. California roll was OK. Hibachi was very good. I put 4 stars because the service was excellent. I will be back again to try one more time.

Love this place so much. My girlfriend took me here 6 months ago and we make it our mission to come atleast once a week. Staff is extremely nice and food is always tasting fresh and looks very appetizing. Alot cheaper than most sushi restaurant so it's never a issue budget wise! Also take-out is just as good. Highly recommend!! Also as of writing this their pokebowls are big and delicious

What service! The staff is so attentive and fast. Seriously cannot overstate how well they treat their patrons! Delicious food every time! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great night out.

Our food was great, but the reason I’m leaving the review is our server! This is the second time we’ve had Sam and both times he’s gone above and beyond, been so kind, been attentive but not annoying/hovering and letting us enjoy our dinner. This dude is ridiculously good at what he does, and if you go there, try to be seated in his section! 10/10 Sam, you rock.

My first experience here. It was eclectic. The ambiance was definitely a mix of Asian fusion. The food was surprisingly good. The Poke Bowl was quite lovely, and light.

My fiancé and I came in for dinner today. We were seated promptly, and our orders were taken promptly. We ordered five items total. My fiancés mango Hawaii roll and dynamite roll were really good. My shrimp fried udon tasted flavorless and didn’t taste good as the last time I had the same thing. My cucumber rolls never made an appearance. Then they charged us for the nonexistent rolls. The server was apologetic, saying that she was busy bringing the phone orders to the front desk and she forgot. She also never did her two minute check back nor refilled my fiancés Pepsi.

The beef soup is absolutely AMAZING! The fried calamari is crispy and fresh. Service is very good and the servers are very attentive. Will definitely come back!

I eat here usually once a week. Its really inexpensive and the food is decent. It's not the best sushi, but it's not bad either. So for the price, I'm happy!

Tried to order sushi to go. Was ignored completely. Exited as my $$$ are real not imaginary and can be spent elsewhere. Good service given equally to all matters.

Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff is courteous, patient, and wonderfully nice. The food is sublime. I thoroughly enjoyed my first sashimi experience. If you are a big sushi fan, Tokyo Sushi is a great place to step into sashimi. I will be returning, as well as recommending this amazing place to any and everyone.

The food was amazing and the restaurant has a cozy and warm feel to it. I was very pleased. We had the veggie Tempe and fried rice.

My favorite sushi place in Mankato. Sushi is always good. Bento boxes and tempura are also wonderful.
