👍👍 The equipment is in great shape and there are things for large and small kids. I wish there were more benches. There are small kids stuff, big kids stuff, volleyball nets, and a half court basketball court. People often mention park, kids, playground, equipment, court,

This park is very new it is so Clean and well put together my kids had so much fun. Not just the part but there's plenty of room out around the park to play ball and or picnic and grill numerous set of grills and picnic areas.

Nice park with unique playground equipment. Plenty of shade trees. Wish the bathroom facilities were left unlocked and they installed a drinking fountain. Also more picnic tables would be a plus.

Lots of space for kids to play, there are tables and grills, as well there is enough room to bring your own grill. However, if one large family used park for gathering there would be a parking issue for them as well as others. Parking does not match the size of park. Really nice for those that are walking distance.

Wonderful park! There is a main area for older children and a separate play area for the Littles. Also includes swings, balance beam, basketball court, volleyball court, and a walking path with workout stations.

We have been exploring the new playground equipment throughout Mankato and this one we revisit often. My daughter is so proud she has mastered climbing up and across to go down the big slide.

New playground equipment is awesome! Kids love it, and low key, so do I. Fun place for family gatherings. Shelters can be rented from the city.

This is such a cute park, and with recent updates like the new jungle gym and bodyweight exercise equipment for adults it's is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors for a little bit. Consider hosting a party at one of the shelters with your friends or family! The only down side is there are currently no drinking fountains available, but I suspect this is little more than a safety precaution given the ongoing pandemic.

This park has updated alot since I was last here a few years back. The playground set is huge my kids loved it. There is an area to play soccer or walk ur pets. There is a basketball court as well. I believe there is also a trail for walking too.

Love going here. My 5 year old calls it the big park and he would say it's the best park.

👍👍 When I was little my dad & I would go fishing from the bank of the river, I caught an 8 pound northern when I was 8 years old, so that in itself was very memorable to me. We found old bottles along the shore & even saw soft shell turtles. It was always a very special place. My dad passed away sudd...
