Usually it's pretty good. Stopped yesterday after a track meet to pick up an online order, it was late in the day so there were only a couple groups of people were inside. We got shorted a fry and all 4 root beers were completely out of syrup. We were 10 miles down the road before we realized it, spent $60 to leave disappointed. My chicken fried steak sandwich was dynamite as was my wife's grizzly burger, hence the 2 stars.

The staff was super friendly and the food was fresh and hot. I got the 8 piece chicken bites and honestly it's the first time I've enjoyed chicken bites from anywhere. They were not over cooked or chewy like most places. Tender and juicy and just all around great service from these folks. Thank you

The service was good and I didn't have to wait long however the burger I ordered was terrible. It was so greasy that the bun was soggy and gross and the meat itself did not taste to good. Taste old an reheated. The fries were good. I don't care to go back to this place

We are at Sweden Cream for the first time this evening! A gem of a place! We understand it's a family owned business being operated by the family's third generation! We had the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich and their Ruben sandwich with fries. Both were delicious! We also had some corn nuggets - also awesome!

The BEST fries I've had, and NOT just in Kansas. We had a late breakfast and opted to share a double cheeseburger with fries and they brought it out in 2 separate trays for us 🙂

The food is always great. The staff is friendly. I love that it's locally owned & has been significantly upgraded since my youth. I almost always go there when I visit my Mom.

The food was good, service was better and the cost was the best. No character at all. A single coke clock on the wall, but nothing else. It's very small, but has potential if someone wanted to do something with it. Will definitely be back though.

This place is a gem. We regularly drive 20 miles to eat here even though there are closer places. Everything we have had is great! The staff are helpful and friendly. The menu has a great variety.

This restaurant is an institution in Mankato and has dramatically improved since the expansion of the building. The food is standard small-town fare and the place was reasonably priced and clean.

I had heard that Sweden creme was a good drive in. I drove down from superior after church. A nice drive. I was surprised how much food, treats, sweets and drink was on the menu. My fish strips meal was delicious. I really liked this place.

Excellent quality food, everything is premium! The kitchen is extremely clean! The prices are very affordable. We stop here every time we are close. Our favorite restaurant in 100 miles! We are very lucky to have such great food, thank you Sweden Creme!

We were traveling from Nebraska to meet my son halfway to Great Bend. We decided to stop at this restaurant. The cashier was very nice and took our order. She gave us a card and told us to sit and they would bring the food So, we got our drinks and sat down. People were coming in. Those people got their food. Some more people came in. They got their food. The cashier at one point walked past us and looked at our table and kept going. Finally, we looked at our receipt and the time. We had been sitting there for 22 minutes at that point. I said, "If we don't get our food in 3 minutes I am going up." Three minutes passed so my daughter and I went up. We explained we had been waiting for 25 minutes for our food. They asked how much the order was and if we had gotten this or that. I told her the price and the order. She said they lost the ticket. They lost the ticket! That cashier walked around that restaurant many times and didn't notice we didn't have our food?! She walked right by and didn't notice we didn't have our food?! They kind of acted like, "Oops, my bad!" They did offer us free ice cream while we wait for our food, again. I told her I would like a chocolate shake and my daughter wanted a peanut butter one. I went to sit down while my daughter waited for the shakes. She came back with one. I asked her where mine was and she didn't know. On a positive note, the shake was the best I had ever had. It was so creamy. It was very thick so we had to use a spoon, but, oh, it was so good! We finally recived our food. It was, eh! The fries were good at least. Will we go here again? If we did, probably just go for the fries and shake. As a cashier it is their job to pay attention to the customers, what they look like and what they ordered, and to make sure they get their food in a timely manner, because had this been the case, we wouldn't have waited 35 minutes for our food. I gave it two stars because of very poor service.

I can't figure out for the life of me why everyone thinks this place is so great..Everytime I eat there, food is horrible... rotten lettuce, sandwiches swimming in sauce like eating a diaper. For those prices ...highly inferior..

Jewel of a place...tremendous variety of food. Expected just burgers, fries and ice cream...there was homemade soup, malts, and gourmet pizza in a retro diner atmosphere...much more than I expected. Reasonable prices

Great place to stop and eat, food is fresh and tastes great. The sign says top 10 fries in kansas and I would agree they are delicious, don't forget the ice cream after eating.

The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was Devine and the fries were simply amazing. Not a big place but real busy which is a good sign. My wife’s strawberry milkshake was incredible. So thick you had to use a spoon. Service was quick. More like a fast food joint but they had a very large and varied menu. We will be back.

My goodness was this worth the trip!! Huge menu! Friendly staff! INCREDIBLE quality of food and low prices. Kids meal 3.99 and includes protein, fries, drink, and ice cream? Amazing! Kids loved it and so did we. We will be back to try everything else on the menu!

Good food and better service. We go pretty regularly if even for a quick sweet treat and we live 20 or more minutes away and have a local place that serves similar items, but Sweden Creme is just better.

Young staff that was very courteous and helpful with selection of a burger to try. I got the "new" burger which came with pepper jack cheese, cream cheese, jalapenos, a jalapeno type jam and grilled onions. I was a little skeptical when she told me what was on it but went for it anyway. Flavors were there for sure and their fries were excellent. Finished my meal off with a chocolate peanut butter shake that wasn't too shabby either. If ever in Mankato Ks I'd suggest stopping by and enjoying a good and very affordable burger/fry/shake.
