This restaurant has a very nice exterior and interior which invites you to a nice dinner. We were 5 people and ordered starters and mains. The starters were quite good, especially the sushi. For a main we ordered a thick cut porterhouse steak with 1.3kg. The way it was prepared was unacceptable, we ordered medium rare and received a well done kind of tough piece of meat. They gave us 50% discount however I found that quite poor as it cost 278€! We will not come back unfortunately, as the kitchen did not convince us and the value for money is not what we expected.

Good Sushi, starters and drinks however the steaks are horrendously overpriced and not that great. The meat quality promises to be fantastic looking at the dry-aged cabinets and such but frankly, I expect a 60-100 € steak to absolutely blow my mind and this is certainly not the case. I guess that some folks will love anything if it is expensive but rest assured, a 20 € steak from the local butcher will put any NEO steak to shame. However, the staff is very accommodating and if you avoid the steak, you will have a good enough time here.

The food was fine and the staff very polite and smiling but it took over an hour to bring out our main courses after our appetizer. We asked at least two staff members to check the status of our order and they kept saying “give us two more minutes, your order comes out next”. We sat there and watched people who came after we ordered getting their food before us.

Spectacular food. We had perhaps the best meal we have ever had - the three steak taster with parmesan fries and truffle mayo. It was definitely expensive but so special, the staff were so friendly. If we visit Heidelberg again we will come back here.

Went out with 5 people in total, the food was good nothing spectacular. Service was really good, they were polite and payed attention to some small details. One Tipp would have been that they could have cleaned the table once or twice. We did wait really long for the food though, in total 2.5 hours. I don’t know if it was intended but it was two much. the location is nice but don’t sit on the backside on the patio since I stinks like fryer oil. This is the next point, all sushi’s are deep fried and taste a bit hard. The Wagyu wasn’t the highest quality for its price but the steak was cooked perfectly to our ask. Overall we payed 570€ and stayed there for a bit too long. You can try the restaurant once but I wouldn’t recommend making it a habit. Still thank you for the nice evening, even though it was quite long.

This restaurant is definitely for special occasion The atmosphere is very nice, friendly service The food choice is a bit overwhelming, steak, sushi etc and although I appreciate the concept of Asian inspired cuisine I feel like it makes one wonder: can they do all of this right? The steak I’ve had here over the years is good, sometimes I’ve had raw when asked for medium and things like that Starters can be huge but delicious nevertheless Reservations are a must High end restaurant in terms of prices UPDATE: had much better experiences since, will give it a full 5 star rating!

The aged steak was delicious, and the drinks were well made and brought quickly after ordering. The overall service was great.

Kind of an overrated restaurant. Prices are too high for what you get. We had steak and they did not ask how we wanted our meat. The truffle fries were really bad. The same thin fries you can buy in the supermarket, some burnt, definitely not what you expect for 10 euro fries... The dishes are tasty, but you can eat them somewhere else too without paying triple the amount. Drinks were very good and refreshing.

We had high hopes for the restaurant as it looks very nice in the website and when you see it from outside, but unfortunately we left very disappointed from our visit. Only highlight was the burrata, best one I’ve ever tried, but pulpo was hard and not tasty and Surf n’ Turf burger had a very dry patty with not much of a flavor, same with the bread. Service was good, although it took 1h for the appetizers to come, and more than 30 minutes for the main to come after.

I wouldn’t go back again. We have been waiting for our main dish almost 2 hours because they simply forgot about us and they were not that busy at all. Our booking was quiet late as that was the only available table and they have already run out of all the steaks we planned to order or they had a bigger remaining piece 1800 g they did not want to cut. They said if we were like 3 of us they would sell it but not the 600g. ….. and overpriced for no reason at all. Beautiful restaurant , they really need to work on their customer service.

Come with friends and pick some meat from the special fridge. Cooked to perfection, perfect taste. Cocktails were also good and decent selection of wine. Service was always making sure everything was good and the place has a great vibe, in a warehouse like modern setting.

If you appreciate quality food and modern decor then this is the place for you. The food is more expensive than standard , but worth every penny for the quality. The food Super prepared and tasted great. For appetizer young calamari from a can I was surprised by the super taste, they were tasty. The main course is Lamb was sensational. Very many people so we waited for a table. Service was fast, friendly and professional.

Incredibly overpriced and bad service. 60 euros for a 180gram beef. I had eaten a lot during lunch and asked my leftovers to be packed to avoid waste... The waiter came back and said "I don't know how to explain this in English..." And proceeded to speak in quick German that basically they trashed my beef. That is it. Do you think this is acceptable? Never again. If you are very rich and don't mind about burning some money without noticeable benefit over restaurants that cost 1/3 it might be acceptable at best.

The best beef steak i ever had , all the ingredients are really good quality worth the price and very nice service !

Class to the nth degree. Service was great but the food was a bit slow. I’d also give the parking availability one star if I could. Overall, I’ll definitely be coming back here in the near future.

The restaurant has a great interior and a cozy atmosphere! ❤️ However the menues were so uncomfortable to handle, way too heavy and totally impractical. The menu itself had a great variety. For starters we got sardines and clams with 2 small pieces of bread and chips (!!) in a can! 🥲 We had sashimi and sushi rolls and they were all very unique! 🤗 Tuna was out so they offered us any type of sashimi we’d wanted. 🤝🏼 The sushi rolls, in my opinion still way too expensive for what you actually get. The food quality was high but the presentation was underwhelming and for 20€+ per roll this was honestly unacceptable. Our waiter was very kind and helpful 😊 But I’m definitely not coming back, the food and the price do not align with each other and for the hype - sadly but simply not worth it.

I reserved a table for two here as a belated graduation celebration. I arrived with fairly high expectations based on what I read and saw online. The atmosphere and customer service is fantastic with the service very much "on point" with refilling glasses and timing their questions etc. The actual food was good and the drinks even better in my opinion. I ordered the "taste your meat" plate which is a great concept but I found that the meat went cold too quick and both sauces were too "intense" i.e. not really complementing the meat but rather taking over it's flavour. It is definitely on the pricey end but the atmosphere and drinks somehow made up for it.

We went for a team dinner at this restaurant and it was just superb.it was so spaceous, huge , with high ceiling. We had Sushi 🍣, wine and our colleagues had beers too. Main course & desserts were equally good ..we could have fun time together chatting , dancing to the music to make our dining experience more memorable!

Very fancy delegate place, the atmosphere at night is very nice and warm, you can sit, enjoy a great dinner, a nice conversation and eat delicious food. The service is very nice, of course it is a must to make a reservation before because the place got a lot request.

This is an overly expensive restaurant with little atmosphere. One sushi dish that is enormous and costs 60 euros we thought 2 people could share and the waitress said no it's for one person and you would need to buy two! She said it like we were trying to "take advantage" even though we were a large group ordering many courses. (btw I ended up taking half of it home!) When I went- the "appetizer" was a "small" bowl of popcorn. Popcorn as an appetizer in an upscale restaurant, really!? Maybe they've had it hard since the pandemic so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they need to seriously up their game in my book!

We were looking for a nice culinary experience and wanted to try Neo for the first time, we were very nicely welcomed as we arrived, we decided to try the Signature. We informed the waitress that we have around one hour then we will need to drive, she told us that it should be manageable. The drinks came rapidly, also the first course of this menu, till here everything was nice. Then the long waiting time for the second course started and we had to wait almost an hour to receive the 3rd course. The waiting time was so long and unpleasant , we had to remind the waitress several times, it was stressful. The beef filet for this course arrived dry, it did not meet any of our culinary expectations, the texture of the meat was not nice, it did not match the beef filet high quality expected for such a price. The marriage and the matching between different flavours and textures was not present. Actually it was not present neither for the lobster rolls, the taste of frying was very present and it did hide all other interesting flavours and this was a pity for such an interesting preparation. I would have expected a way better experience for this price. We were testing the location for a bigger group event, but it has awfully failed the test.

Very nice, modern place, usually full of people. Concept with sushi and steaks together in one menu was a bit strange for us on the beginning, but food is very good. Reservations reccomended, staff speaks English. Not very cheap.
