Great museum with wide variety of old-timers of Benz

The museum is closed until 09.02.2024 in case you consider a visit.

The vintage pieces are well restored and preserved, for 5€ per pax entrance fee it is good value for money to take a look of the founding history of Mercedes-Benz, even you have to pay 3€ for photo pass, it is still good value for money. Disables guest enter for free, and the WC is equipped with disabled facilities. Highly recommended to stop by if you are in the area for a short visit! Friendly staff who knows a lot about the cars.

It is a small museum that contains many old timer cars. You can see not only Benz’s cars but also many others. You can see even Ford model T 😵😵😵

Great museum from Benz. On the day we went there they had an antique car show in the parking lot. And a nice stand with food and drinks.

Beautifull Museum place, original Benz factory with many past Benz collection

Our intention for the trip was to visit Heidelberg but we ended up booking hotel in the city of Carl Benz. In fact our hotel was on Benzstrasse and this museum was just next door. It gives you a good impression of history of Benz cars, porche etc. For an automobile lover it's a must visit place. Due to an injury I was on wheelchair and it is certainly wheelchair friendly. Even the ticket cost is minimal.

A fabulous experience. The staff was amazing and the details we found in this wonderful museum were awesome. We had a great time.

Excelente museum, better customer service

Not big museum, only attraction is Carl Benz's first cars.

Enjoyed it.

They show some of the first cars ever made. It is not a fancy, huge museum. However, it is a great feeling to see the timeline of car improvement. There is a restaurant downstairs, but I think they host events there because when I was there, it was closed and they were getting ready for somethink. Anyway, if you are close by, I recommend a visit.

The original factory of Carl Benz Söhne, which was created after Carl Benz left Benz & Cie to pursue his own aims rather than fighting with others. The museum has a couple of the rare cars from this second automotive business venture, and many other early German automobiles; naturally quite a few from Benz & Cie and the descendent businesses. A great place to visit. If you whizzed through you are done in 45 minutes or so, but take your time and spend a few hours appreciating the effort that's gone into curating the exhibits.
