The place is just perfect!!! The atmosphere you get is awesome something indescribable, I felt Like I was in China remembering the good old days. The food was quite expensive but the quality is guaranteed, the exotic taste is awesome and after all we ate it was still pretty much healthy... If I have a possibility to come back I would 100% come back. Absolutely Recommend it usually I don't give 5 stars but for this time of course!

The soki garden is a really beautiful restaurant with a beautifully designed interior with lots of nice detail. First thing you’ll notice when you enter is that the waiters all don’t seem approachable. They feel slightly arrogant and distanced, you don’t feel very welcome here. Second thing you’ll notice is that it’s rather expensive. Compared to other places in karlsruhe that serve sushi, you don’t get much when you order sushi here (my plate was 15€ for the amount pictured). There was really few rice on every piece of sushi (which I have observed that they do since the very opening of this place). But the taste was very good. Also the appetizer soup was very nice, just the meat tasted like it was low quality. They have a nice selection of tea and beautiful pottery and cutlery. Over all it’s a nice experience when you feel like Asian food but definitely not one of the finer choices in karlsruhe.

Really beautiful restaurant, special food and more on the expensive side. There are vegan options as well, so anyone can find something to eat. We tried several appetizers and mains, and everything was yummy. The chicken gyoza and the refresher drink were delicious! Only minus: the service lady was very hectic and we were kinda pushed all the time to order or finish the food so she can take the plates (usually they wait until everyone is done and then gather the dishes). We were a big group and when paying there was some kind of mix-up and we ended up paying for something we did not order, so that was a bit annoying, and the lady didn't seem to want to clear it out or clarify.

The sushi and udon were both pretty good. No complaints but nothing amazing about it either. Wasn’t too impressed with the service .

Delicious food. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Not pricey for the quality. We dined it but you can also take it as take out. We even had special wishes for some dish since we don’t like tuna and there was no issue to replace it with something we liked more. Would absolutely recommend!

Really nice for a fantastic lunch! The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and includes an appetizer. The portions were rather big. The chicken soup with coconut milk (soup of the day) was sensational! We sat on the terrace, which is nice, but building works at another building are quite loud at the moment. Nothing that can be done about that! Service was good, the restaurant and the facilities were very nice and clean. Big selection of drinks, but rather pricy. Would 100% come back for lunch, as it's also conveniently located, when already in city centre.

Interesting tasty food combinations and friendly service. Portions quite big and lots of unusual but delicious looking dishes being served all around.

We were 8 people that came in to eat and we didn't have any reservation. But they let us in anyway and serviced us well. The food was delicious too. It's a affordable place to eat.

Sushi dinner for two outside on their terrace. Spacious table and comfortable seating. The service is professional and they speak good English. Nice atmosphere on a warm June evening and very tasty sushi.

Amazing ambience and delicious vegan options

Always make sure to visit soki Garden when visiting Karlsruhe, it's definitely one of my favourite restaurants in the city. The lunch menu has a very good selection of noodle, rice and sushi dishes for a very reasonable price. The food itself is always top-notch, and I've never had any issues with any of the dishes.

Usually, when a restaurant claims they serve more than one cuisine, it’s smart to be cautious of what they serve you as they turn out to be better at one kind of food than the other. That’s not the case with soki garden as they know what they’re doing with their sushi and their bun bo nuong cha gio (stir fried beef with vermicelli noodle). They are excellent at both vietnamese and Japanese, and this is coming from someone who has been to both countries multiple times and tried all kinds of local food. The cha gio is flavorful and beef is marinated just right. the chicken was juicy and crispy and the general portions were large. I did not even get a picture of the bun bo nuong as it was quickly devoured as soon as it came out. Will definitely come back when in Karlsruhe!

The soups are great. The sushi is fresh and tasty and comes in big portions. The atmosphere is also very enjoyable.

One of the best mid priced restaurants in Karlsruhe. A mix between Japanese and vietnamese cuisine. Presentation is immaculate and food is quite good. A bit more pricey than similar restaurants in the area but totally worth it

Amazing service and good atmosphere - a bit over priced but i guess for this quality of food it's understandable! Their red curry crispy duck curry dish was so good I want to 3 more!!

After the modification of the restaurant it's not as good as previously. Specially for Japanese food. The belt doesn't exist anymore. All you can eat doesn't exist. The prices are very high for the quality of the food if you take into account the amount of cucumbers base 🍥. The taste of the tune and salmon base sushi remains good, pity they're too little in a combi set. I'm not going there anymore.

Been here for the first time today and was not disappointed. The food is very good, we had 3 different sushi rolls and they were all very fresh and tasty, you really feel the fresh ingredients. Also the outside area is very nicely decorated and makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Lovely garden in the center of Karlsruhe. Great variety of choice in dinner options including sushi and noodles bowls. The meals are well prepared and presentated.

Big restaurant with amazing interior! The service is decent, food is good but a bit costly. Salmon seems to be very fresh but the quality of tuna could have been better.

The restaurant is cozy with many tables and modern furnishing. They have a small counter, where the chefs prepare the sushi. The service was excellent and they have a large menu. After about 15-20 waiting minutes, we had a seafood platter which was tasty. The shrimp was excellent and fresh as was the salmon. The food and drink prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to enjoy Japanese food, Asian food and have a calm tranquil dinner. I had a great time here, so I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Very recommendable place with high quality food. My husband and I both enjoyed the culinary offer as well as the place itself. The food was presented very nicely and neatly, the proportions of fish and rice were also great, fish was of very high quality. The only thing both of us found rather bizarre was the addition of--what the menu categorizes as--"mixed Asian herbs" to the salmon tataki. Not only was tataki already accompanied by two different sauces--which would have been perfectly enough--but the herbal mix tasted and looked rather like melted herbal butter and simply did not work with the fish. To us, it was a very odd combination and the dish would have tasted much better without the butter, which unfortunately was not served separately, but directly on the fish. Other than that, everything was really nice.

Out of 3 Sushi Restaurants in Karlsruhe I've tried, this was by far the best! Epic food (both for veg and non veg), a beautiful ambience inside and outside and great service! I literally had a foodgasm with every single bite! To say it with Arnie's words: I'll be back! ❤

For the first time I tried take out. Same good experince! The amount served is equal to eating at the restaurant. The only thing I missed in my meal was the inclusion of the fresh herbs, Petersilie and mintz. But regardless, the meal was as nice as when served at the restaurant.

Anything you try at this restaurant tastes delicious and the fish is always fresh for the sushi. They don’t seem to do all you can eat anymore which is sad, because it was the main reason to go there with friends. Hopefully it will come back.

One of the best sushi places in Germany. The sushi is fresh, they don't waste food and the fish/rice ratio is perfect.
