Went first week of August 2022, arrived at 7.30 pm and ordered within 10 mins. We ordered the full fish (and other three dishes) and they told us that fish will take time which we were ok with. The tripe was quite good starter, the fish was decent, the kungpao duck reminds me of indian Manchurian recipe which I do not dislike so it was good. The stir fry bok choy was good. Now the downside 1. The food were all sub-par 2. The service was sooo so bad, rude hosts 3. We had to ask/remind them of each and every dish. We had to ask for the rice and by the time it came it was almost cold and chewy 4. The food came 15 to 30 mins after the other, by the time the bok choy came it was 9 pm (hard to understand how it came last since it's probably the easiest to make 😁) and we were asked to hurry by 9.10 as they were going to close soon (by this time I was so annoyed that I marked all the timings) 5. P.s. don't carry your own water, it was a very hot day, my friend and I had each half full 500ml bottles of water with us, we were told rudely that we will be charged for our water, we immediately hid our bottle 😂 Luckily they didn't Even if I had liked the food I will not go back.

Pretty good original food. Price quality amount very good. Some of the dishes dont come out so good that is why 4 stars.

Been here for several times and tried different food each time. A few dishes were subpar, the others were just average level. Guo Bao Rou: It’s not with Sichuan-pepper salt, nor sweet sour or with ketchup, it’s only sugary, and tooooo sugary! You cannot taste any other single flavor from it. I’d call it fried sugar pork cause it tasted like pork fried in melted sugar. No cooks in China in their right mind would cook something like this. Just GROSS! 🤢 Pork with cucumber: average Fried rice with shrimp: average taste, but the rice was a bit undercooked and tough Di San Xian (Vegetables pan): unpleasantly sugary. Does the kitchen get all those sugar for free? Peeled shrimp with tofu: fine Fried noodles with beef: fine Mao Xue Wang: average Service was fine in most cases, but I remember once I went here during lunch time when there were many customers, I had to wait for my one simple stir-fry for a whole hour, asked the server in vain for several times, while the men at the table beside me who ordered at almost the same time with me got all of their four dishes a lot earlier. Probably a young woman by herself looks like a pushover to the staff! 🙄 Conclusion: avoid this restaurant if possible. I’m only giving three stars because one of the staff was very nice every time, otherwise two stars only.

Everything I give 10 out 10.Service,food and also very convenient either using Car or Zug. Price very pocket friendly.

We have traveled to Heidelberg. It was a great surprise to find this nice traditional Chinese restaurant. The flavors are so good and there are so many choices. If we could stay longer, we will definitely visit again.

It’s a shame that Heidelberg simply has no decent Chinese restaurants. Yangda is supposed to be better than the other ones, but look at the color of their rice, and the hair on skin, so disgusting!

Good food, can pay only with EC karte

It was a pleasure to have some good, authentic Chinese food after a long time. Both, meat and fish dishes were very tasty and what we would expect from a good Chinese restaurant. The duck was a bit dry unfortunately. The location is a bit off, close to the rails and not the most comfy interior. The staff was nice and attentive. Can totally recommend and will come back in the future

Foods here are ok and the staff here are so nice! I think the prices here are also acceptable! However, I think the 回锅肉 and 茄子 are sweet and hope they can be fixed in the future! Overall this Chinese restaurant worth a visit!

Food tastes great and the portion is big. Service regarding language could be a bit better but it's fine, I came for the food afterall haha. Atmosphere is normal, just a simple restaurant style.

The best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been!! Absolutely THE BEST. It’s the restaurant you want to visit at any cost if you love Chinese food, and are near Mannheim or Heidelberg. It is located right in front of the tram station, so that you can find it immediately. We ordered “Drool chicken” and “sichuan boiled fish”. The sauce of both dishes were amazingly made by a perfect balance of numerous spices which brings you to ecstasy. The chicken was very tender and bean sprouts in the boiled fish absorbed the sauce and became juicy that despite of the massive size we could manage to eat almost everything. Not only has this restaurant got high quality dishes in a reasonable price, but also a high quality service. The staffs are very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy. We were delighted to find one of the personnels trying to cover with his hands so that the sauces wouldn’t spill and bounce to us when he was cleaning up the dishes after we finished eating it. We’ve never seen such service with care and delicacy in a restaurant. We are glad and thankful to all people in the restaurant, and of course we’ll be there again soon.

Highly recommended!! The special handmade noodle salad is really delicious but a little bit spicy. The fish and vegetables are fresh as well.

Not expensive, the prices are quite lower than other restaurants.

My favorite chinese restaurant in Heidelberg! Can’t say if it’s authentic cause I’ve never been to China, but the food very well suited my tastebuds. My favorite menu here are the aubergine with minced meat and the fried rice (with or without meat). I love it that they also do deliveries. Price is very decent , also quite big portion imo.

My favourite Chinese restaurant is Heidelberg! I'm from Vancouver, where finding a good Chinese restaurant is relatively easy. This place has satisfied my Chinese food cravings over and over again. Authentic and delicious. Yes, the service isn't what you would get in other restaurants, but it's basically what I'm used to from other Chinese restaurants. You can't be shy, wave them down and let them know what you need, if something was maybe forgotten, or if you need more tea. They're actually very nice about it and won't take it personally.

No Doubt, Authentic Chinese Food!👍👍👍 Finally not Imbiss type one. Recommendable are Crispy Pork with Peppersalt, Squid in Peppersalt also, Beef in oyster sauce, Crispy Chicken and Hot Pot 👍

Aubergine - way too sweet and too much sauce, the pork tasted off, as it has strong pork smell, ingredients are not fresh Tofu - really cheap ingredients, shrimp was very cheap, wrong tofu used, sauce tasted very weird Pork - only a few pork pieces, the rest was vegetable I do not recommend this place, dont go, cheap ingredients!

Went there around 5:3pm on Sunday. Not too busy, so no reservation needed. There are many tables indoors and 8 tables outside. Food was served very fast. Ordered a sweet sour pork and a vegan dish with potato, eggplant and green pepper. Very big portion. The taste is OK and authentic. Service is very friendly. Suitable for a group of people. The restaurant is located not in the city centre, but can be easily reached by public transport. People can also come here by car.

Really nice place, you feel to enter in a little piece of China. Food not bad, of average quality and honest prices.

The restaurant has a pretty convenient location, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous and delicious! I recommend giving it a shot if you want some Chinese food, they have a lot of different options not commonly found elsewhere.

I visited this place with 3 chinese friends who love it. You can imagine if they love it how much I do. True traditional chinese food (except for the spring rolls which are no typical chinese food but they are amazing) with great flavor. We usually order to share so I got yo try a lot of different dishes in 1 visit. 🥰
