Wir fanden eine Safari mit eigenem Auto in Frankreich oder Italien intensiver. Aber klar, geht hier nicht, und laufen ist ja gesund 👍 😉 Irgendwann kommen wir wieder 👍

Hier kann man mit Kindern, Gästen, Freunden und auch allein hingehen und ein schöner Tag ist garantiert.

Man kann in den Restaurant relativ preiswert und gut essen. In den meistens Zoos ist es teurer! Parken ist leider ein sehr großes Problem an vollen Tagen! Man muss alternativ sich vorher schon raussuchen oder direkt mit der Bahn kommen.

Kommen immer wieder gerne. Weitläufiges Areal und viel zu sehen. Eintrittspreise sind absolut fair, wenn man die ganzen Kosten und Unterhalt bedenkt. Sehr schöne neue Gehege. Manche Tiere könnten sicher mehr Platz vertragen, aber es wird daran gearbeitet. Frühjahr ist super, wenn die ganzen Jungtiere geboren werden. Die anderen Jahreszeiten sind aber auch sehenswert.

Immer ein schönes Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Schade das es keine Aufzüge für ältere Menschen gibt im Parkhaus und die Wege so lang bis zum Eingang. Wenige Kassen besetzt und lange Kassenschlangen. Der Zoo selber ist aber einfach ein tolles Erlebnis !!

Although one must be prepared to do lot of uphill-downhill which makes you tired. We attended few feeding sessions and except for Penguin and Sea lion, rest were average.

It is definetely an amazing place. You, with your partner or children can spend enjoyable hours in this lovely garden. There are lots of kinds of animals that you can not see in regular city life. Bats are my favorites. You can stand 10cm nearby a giant bat, this is crazy:) Also the design of the garden and the variety of plants are stunning. With my wife we have spent about 3-4 exciting hours there. Must see place in Stuttgart!

Waren am Samstag zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr dort. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und es gibt viel zu sehen. Leider machen die meisten Häuser im Sommer zwischen 18 und 19 Uhr zu. Wir hatten also nicht genug Zeit für alle Tiere.

Die Wilhelma kenne ich seit meiner Kindheit.Ich habe sie sich in den letzten 40Jahren verändern sehen. Es ist ein wunderbar angelegter zoologisch botanischer Garten. Die Artenvielfalt der Tiere ist wirklich groß. In den letzten Jahren hat die Wilhelma einiges getan um die Tiere Artgerechter zu halten. Und jedes Jahr kommt neues dazu. Ganz neu das Australientierhaus mit den Koalas. Wer die Vielfalt liebt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Man entdeckt immer wieder was Neues. Ich persönlich liebe auch die alten Gewächshäuser mit den tollen Pflanzen(Kakteen, Gewürze, Kaffee usw).Und schöne blühende Pflanzen. Herrlich. Es gibt ein Parkhaus und gute Restaurants. Zudem finden sich immer wieder Toiletten. Gehbehinderte können die Toiletten im Elefantenhaus nicht nutzen, da man dort eine Treppe hinunter muss.

Tiergarten und botanischer Garten bilden eine Einheit. Sehr informative Beschreibungen von Tier- und Pflanzenarten. Es gibt zwar am Eingang einen Parkplan, dennoch finde ich den Park für Ortsfremde etwas unübersichtlich. Was mir gut gefällt, sind die vielen Themenhallen.

I absolutely loved this Zoo. Beautiful gardens, amazing areas. My kids had a blast. Totally recommended. IMO, it is the best zoo I have ever been to.

Glasshouses close at 6.45pm and the zoo closes at 8pm. The ponds and flower gardens are lovely!

Its a zoo with a botanical garden. Its a nice place for a weekend stroll and educational trip. I was excited to visit this museum for the botanical gardens. They had the worlds hottest chilly, the ghost pepper. It was very interesting to see it in person. Additionally, the zoo also hosted snow leopards. Overall it has plenty of open spaces but it was very crowded on a weekend. I would recommend going on a weekday to avoid the crowd. Do bring water and snacks and it takes about 3 hours or more to see and enjoy everything.

Very very nice ZOO, it was a bit raining, but nice experience. It s a big ZOO, it wasn't enough time to look everything. From 11h to 18h. The monekys was great . The pingvins 🥰and fishes and much much more... We were eating in restaurant. Not the finest burger, it was too dry.. I will come again.

Very nice and intensive place to go at. It is a huuuuge Zoo where you can spent easily three hours plus at (and even more with kids). Sometimes you may have waiting lines for certain areas, but this is rather seldom within the week. You have to opportunity to buy snacks, ice and drinks and (if you want) on the other end of the zoo is a restaurant. There are many places to sit and I would recommend to take a blanket with you to sit on the grass. I really liked it to be there, but to go without water or something to eat in between I wouldn't recommend. Nice zoo, good prices (two persons, kid and adult for roundabout 25 euros) and lots of stuff to see. Go for it! 😉
