Nice cabin. Though Lagoon view was more of a lagoon edge/road view. The water was close to be able to launch a kayak and the paddle in the morning was excellent. Some works being done at the moment, which is understandable, no issues to the stay as a result.

What a great park! They are still doing flood recovery, but the park is up and running, the bathrooms are clean and well maintained, as is the camp kitchen. There’s fishing spots right there in the park, and a good little playground for the kids. They even have a pizza oven!

Stayed in a cabin that was clean and in good order. Close to the Main Street. Walk to get coffee, groceries, anything. Lovely spot on the river to throw a fishing line in or take in the surrounds of this lovely little river town. To top it all off we could also bring the dog!

Used our River Revival voucher and had the most fantastic powered site right on the bird sanctuary lagoon. Loved our stay. Amenities block very clean, and great hot showers.

My wife & I stayed on a river view powered site in our caravan for four nights & as expected found the park still recovering from the floods so a number of sites still unavailable along with a couple of roads blocked off. The ammenities were spotless & the useable sections of the park kept very neat. We enjoyed our stay but thought the $62/night (less if Big 4 member) was excessive.

They advertise river front but it not.... You get no internet and when you speak to manager she just makes excuses. Yes there were floods but they still charge the same as before the floods even though it's all different. There is now no river fronts but will charge you for it. My photos uploaded were from before the floods when they actually cared about customers but now just trying to make money back.

Lovely caravan park and beautiful location in a very pretty town. Quite disappointed with our stay this weekend, we have stayed previously and staff were fantastic. This time checking received a huge lecture about being dog friendly only when it suits them. The lady told me over and over that they are going to implement more guidelines etc for dogs. I had no idea why I got this barrage of a lecture, we told them about our dogs when we booked the site and no problems the other times we stayed. The park had lots of dogs staying and all dogs were perfectly behaved. Maybe she just doesn’t like dogs? They also mucked up our booking and said that they were full and no vacancies so the the two sites we booked couldnt be together, ok we excepted that with no complaints but then once in the park there were multiple vacant sites side by side, quite disappointing, I think the reception lady needs some customer training and be reminded that she works in tourism. They also charge a surcharge for using debit card/ credit card 1% is ridiculous since they encourage no cash payments!

We love the park! Have been coming up for 20 years. Unfortunately after the floods the council hasn’t put the money back into one of the biggest tourist features of the town. Grass needs to be put back on the forefront and around the campsites, and the staff are great but not enough of them around. Hopefully things can be done before peak season because it has been such as staple for our family holidays.

Dissapointed to say the least. Lush green powered sites have gone . All dusty dolomite. Can't blame the flood for not regrassing sites. Very dusty with any wind. Going to be hot in summer. Where's the grass ? A caravan park on the river should be green. Showers need a good clean . Mold and grime. Never answer the phones or return calls. Spoke to alot of campers over the weekend who will be putting in a complaint. Lift your game Big 4. Have been coming here for over 30 years and the condition of the park has progressively gone downhill. Don't blame the flood. Most of the park didn't get affected by water.

Park disappointing, they need to go around and mark the site numbers and have lines between them. One guy set up completely and Park staff told him he was not on the right site. Duh no numbers. Others we spoke to had been coming for years and even they said park has gone downhill. Maybe Big4 better do a spot check before putting their name on it.

Very disappointed in the customer service at this park. Rang the day before beginning at 11am and left numerous messages and then emailed as we received no response. Tried again to ring on the day still no response. When we arrived the office was closed with a sign and a mobile number which we rang and heard it on the desk inside. Someone did come back to the office however, not too long after. I expressed that we had tried on numerous occasions to contact them; no apology or explanation just a grunt from the receptionist. Discovered we couldn’t get in until 12, which is on the website but just wanted to confirm via phone contact if we could by chance get an early checkin and even if a site was available. We left and drove to another town to check into a park where they answered on the first try at ringing them and said we could come in as soon as we got there, which consequently was way before 12pm. This is not good enough Big 4. Customer service should be your top priority!! I had to give one star to post but it really deserves a zero.

In relation to a previous review; if you are to post a reply good or bad please ensure you get your facts right. You said you were checking guests out however there was a note on the door, back in 20 mins. We waited for you to arrive back to the office, so you were not checking any guests out that we were aware of. You also replied you did not get a chance to get our details!! We would assume that the after numerous calls we made over a 24hr period, prior to arriving at the park, leaving our details, you already had them, as well as an email address. Attempts to apologise, well that's just not true! There was no attempt to apologise and there was also no fury on our part, as written in your reply. We were just completely stunned at the absolute lack of customer service. This would all have been avoided if you simply answered your messages and emails. Disappointed once again at the excuses made for simply the very poor or lack of service delivered.

I camped for 2 nights at this lovely Caravan Park. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The facilities, amenities and grounds were very clean & well maintained. The location is beautiful. I had not been to this part of SA before. Also the town of Mannum is very pretty and the locals I met were very friendly & helpful. I highly recommend the Caravan Park & a visit to Mannum & surrounds. Desleigh Dutton
