I may get over excited about place's but I loved my meal here. I'm a non drinker and tried all the mocktails which were delicious, especially the Passion fruit Marti-no with a shot of elderflower fizz. The prices are around today's average slightly to the cheaper side but food, presentation and service doesn't reflect this. The food is yummy as are the drinks as I already highlighted. The atmosphere is really nice, not too loud but not dead quiet. It feels homely and friendly, currently displaying warm autumny vibes. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. The exterior decor is lovely as well, especially after dark. Overall it was a really great experience. Perfect to celebrate twenty years to the day that I met my wife ❤️🙏

We attended as a party of 14 yesterday (3/12/23) & I can't praise the staff enough. From the start they were friendly & helpful. Our orders all arrived together & the food was good quality & served at temperature. The staff checked that everything was ok with our meals, as well as checking if we needed anything else. The tables were cleared in a quick manner after everyone had finished. The staff were also happy to take photos of our party for us too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend here

Absolutely amazing place! Wonderful experience from start to finish. We walked in as two adults and a child in a wheelchair, no booking. The gentleman at the front desk called Tony greeted us so warmly and welcomed us to the restaurant, showed us to a table and offered alternatives should they be more suitable with wheelchair access. He moved a table to make the space more comfortable and introduced us to our waitress. The whole wait staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, the food was to a very high standard. We had pudding which was amazing! And I found out they are dog friendly too! Honestly can’t rate the place highly enough. Faultless!

Visited Foxglove many times, but it had been a while and this time we had a two year old in tow. The place was relatively quiet, which is always a bonus in our books as we prefer it that way and we managed to be situated at the far end in a booth which was nice. The menu had changed a bit, and I decided to opt for something I'd not had there before which was the Chilli Con Carne. My partner had the Pulled Pork Burger and my son had the Cheese and Tomato Tagliatelle from the kids menu. My dish was delicious and is something I would definitely order again. My partners burger was a bit greasy in the top where they had placed two onion rings and the bacon in the middle he said could have been a bit more well done as it was still relatively pink. However, other than that we both enjoyed our meals. We also ordered a side of Hallumi Fries and Cheesy Garlic Ciabatta. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, as usual - particularly the young lad behind the bar serving drinks. When my partner complained about his bacon, the server just responded with "Oh sorry, is that everything?" and then walked away which I didn't feel was sincere but alas, it was just bacon I suppose. Always lovely food and atmosphere though, and everything comes well presented.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, guy behind the bar was friendly and a nice character. Food was nice apart from the burger being greasy but to be expected I guess. The cheese garlic ciabatta bread was phenomenal 😋👌🏻

Been meaning to dine here for a while now. All I can say, I wished I dined here years ago. The food is absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection. I rate this place. 5 STARS from me.

Lovely Sunday roast at the Foxglove but the service was a bit hit and miss. One server was very attentive and friendly and the other definitely gave off a "I hate my job and wish you weren't here" vibe, which is a shame but won't deter me from coming back. The pork is definitely tastier than the beef if you're torn. The stuffing is delicious, so was the sticky toffee pudding and accompanying ice cream.

We were served by a lovely young lady who despite negative comments by a fellow colleague did an amazing job. She was tending to all her tables with care and respect. Food was lovely very disappointed to hear a bar staff member stood in front of us at the bar as we was paying complaining that people were being sent to the bar to pay. Had the staff member spent less time being awful to her she would have known the payment machine they were using was playing up. A little respect towards fellow colleagues goes a long way. Well done to you young lady serving near the kitchen tonight you did amazing don't listen to negative colleagues keep doing what your doing

My self and 2 friends had a late lunch today . Amazingly friendly staff , really can’t praise them enough . The menu was fabulous. 2 courses for £10 . Soup and my friends had garlic mushrooms . The mains were amazing . Looking around at other peoples meals I didn’t see a bad plate come out of that kitchen . May just be my new go to place for food . Lovely atmosphere too

Had a last minute lunch date with the mother here. Wasn't expecting much from a previous visit a couple of years ago. Wow what a pleasant suprise. The place was lovely laid out.. Food was absolutely beautiful and the service was very good. Staff were attentive and very polite. My mother has no sight and the staff responded brilliant. Its so nice to go somewhere and not be stared at and tutted at.. Well done to you all. Definitely another visit planned

Excellent customer service, the staff couldn't do enough for you. Vicky was very helpful, my mum had certain needs and she was very attentive. All my party really enjoyed there meals. The Vegan pie dinner was amazing and I can say is the best vegan dinner I've had anywhere.

We booked a table for eight for our family get together. Seating area was good with plenty of room. Our waitress ‘Laura’ was polite, friendly and knowledgeable and checked on us regularly drink top ups. We all had a starter to which we didn’t have to wait long. We then all had a Sunday dinner which again we didn’t have to wait long. We then had a dessert to which there it was a while before we received them. Food was average, would have liked more choice on the vegetables and desserts (a lot containing chocolate).

Staff very efficient & offered good customer service. Food was delicious. Daughter particularly loved the Korean chicken burger & my Sunday roast was lovely. Only one downside was that it was really really hot in there! Otherwise a very enjoyable meal out. Thank you.

Foxglove is the best restaurant ever

Came across this place looking for a pub lunch with the family. Went with the fixed price 3 course meal and was very impressed with the meal and the portion sizes. Family had a great time with friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Called in after a visit to the Opticians at Asda, the car park was busy which is always a good sign, it was very busy and didn't think we would get a table but mine host Tony sorted a table straight away, Laura looked after us really well and also helped us with our choice of meal, very friendly staff, great food, will definitely call again.

The staff were amazing from start to finish! We booked a table for 7:15pm and arrived early, we were seated at the bar to wait for our table with no issues. Once seated staff were attentive and ensured our drinks were always filled. The food was amazing! we had a starter, main and dessert. All food was hot and arrived in good time. I would recommend the Foxglove and will be returning in the future

We came for the lunch menu and when we walked in the pub looked amazing, and beautifully decorated. We were seated and given the menus which had a large option and a 2 courses for £13 or 3 courses for £15.50. The staff were really friendly and quick. The food also came quickly and tasted amazing. From start to finish we had a great meal. Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again.

We visited for the first time on Sunday. We were really impressed with both the friendliness and professionalism of the staff as well as the quality of the food. Our only issue was that the pork crackling was hard rather than crispy but this small issue doesn't detract from the overall experience, it is still 5 star from us.

The venue was clean tidy welcoming staff were professional and pleasant The food was brought to the table in a timely manner post order. The server checked every was OK and after the meal asked if everything was OK and did we want a dessert menu. All in all a good meal with good service

First part of the dinner was lovely but then we needed tomato sauce as I thought the BBQ sauce that came on my children’s chicken tenders was ketchup. It did take some time to find someone to help so my children had eaten their fries and just had the chicken left. A bit more expensive than I remember. Tastey food though

Very busy Friday night and we popped in as we had a voucher. The staff were really working hard and we were quickly seated and served. Hunter’s Chicken and Beef in Ale pie were served pretty quickly and were quite delighted with the quality of the meals.

Good welcome. Quick and efficient service. Food arrived hot and within a good time frame. Checked on whilst eating which I always think is a great touch. Waitress was friendly. Overall great experience. We’ll be back

The drinks were lovely we had a great mock-tail which tasted like the real thing! Our starter was nice but the mains weren’t great. We ordered the chicken burgers and the batter was burnt we sent them back and two more burnt ones came back. It was a shame because the chicken inside was really nice but the fries were quite greasy too. There was entertainment on, which was a great addition to the evening was just a shame the food wasn’t great.

We came for Father’s Day and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and despite it being really busy, the food was served in a timely manner, lovely and warm, and absolutely delicious!

We booked for our family ladies Xmas jumper evening, 11 in total. As you can imagine we all arrived at different times, some of us extra early (getting the extra drinks in). Straight away our table was made available to us, the waiting staff checked regularly to see if we had all arrived and were ready to order. The service of food was fast and efficient, the food was hot and delicious, festive roast was beautiful. In all we had a great night and the establishment should be proud of the service given to some loud, happy, tipsy ladies. Thank you.

We booked the table online a couple of hours before the visit. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. It was table service and we were promptly offered menus and given a few minutes to choose our meals. The same Gentleman that greeted us took our food and drink orders which were promptly served. I can’t remember the Gentleman’s name although he did give it to us on our arrival, I think he may have been in charge. He was very friendly and helpful .

The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive! We were all super impressed. The food was incredible, presented beautifully and served very quickly. We didn’t feel rushed and couldn’t have asked for more from the team. We loved it so much we booked for Christmas 2024 as we left!

Food was ok but not as good as before.had roast chicken which was not as crispy but ok,chips nice but coleslaw too creamy,I had halloumi fries and seemed like it was the scraps from the bottom of the bag and the king prawn starter and the prawns hadn't been cleaned properly.always loved this place before and been loads.

Been many months since I have visited, Went during the 50% off, and it was 50% less quality. Salad was terrible. Dry, no oil drizzle as stated... Wifes burger equally disappointing. I think the 50% off isnt a good idea if your going to lower the quality, as it was never this poor before. I dont think i will be back for the risk this is their typical quality

Standard pub food, good service and clean facilities; exactly what it is aiming to be. The food was good including the rotisserie chicken; don't expect Michelin star food quality as this isn't what it's trying to be. It's pub food in a pub setting.

Everything was superb. From arriving, being shown to our table, our waitresses, the service that they provided. The meal was superb! I couldn’t have cooked better myself. You always have concerns that it won’t be great, or the quality is not there, however, couldn’t have wanted for anything better. All staff were pleasant, cheerful and appeared happy. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere, although very busy was great. The quality of the food was brilliant, the choice we had had to choose from was great, even down to arranging for two fruit salads instead on the menu starters for younger members of our party. Thank you they made my Christmas Day!

Booked online really easy. Greeted in restaurant by lovely welcoming lady. Seated quickly and order taken. We took advantage of the 30% off offer! The food came out quickly. Well presented and hot! We both commented how nice it was and are considering trying your Sunday lunch. Service was really good by everyone.

This wasn't our first visit but we won't be coming again anytime soon my main was Gammon which always ask for it to be as lean as possible due to me having a intolerance to fat in fully understand it is impossible not to have some rind on but it was terrible the rind was very thick and both the pieces had fat running through them to top it off the chips were full of grease I was offered something else but due to being a diabetic and as I did attempt to eat some of the meal I was restricted to what I could eat it. My husband who never complains reported to your staff that his Curry was like warm we are both really disappointed Even though I was not charged for my meal and my husband meal was only charged at half price it the whole experience was very disappointing and has put us off retaining

I came to celebrate my mum's birthday, the welcoming was brilliant, the waitress was amazingly polite and the food was absolutely delicious. Myself had the pie of the day and it was delightful. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family

We really enjoy coming to the foxglove for a meal. It is always a really welcoming atmosphere and the we are always greeted with a smile. Regardless of how busy it is the staff always have time for you. There is a good selection of drinks and a menu that has enough on it without being overwhelming. The food is fantastic and is the best around for the money. We I'll continue to keep going back to the foxglove because it ticks every box, it never let's you down and you never leave hungry or disappointed.
