Updated December 2022: The DJ and Music is way too loud, felt like it was a club rather than a respected restaurant. Can't hear the others on the same table. Starters, main and puddings were perfect, big portions and fresh. Extremely friendly staff, always making sure your OK with your meals.

Beautiful food, full of flavour and came fast. Although the food was 10/10, it was the service that topped it off for us. Every single waiter from the second we walked went to so much effort and was so lovely. We weren't left waiting at any point and they were so quick and prompt to serve us - didn't catch your names but we ate at 8-9pm 26/8/22 so if you guys are reading this then big up to yous!!!! Best restaurant I've been to Mansfield by far

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Beautiful decoration, food was delicious and tasty with a wide range of dishes on the menu, including drinks. I recommend to everyone as you will not be disappointed! Big thank you also to Akash and Aman who looked after us on the day and made us feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

One of my favorite places in Mansfiled. The staff is caring and polite. They would definitely do everything they can to serve you well. The food is delicious and they have a large range of options for all type of eaters. The cocktails are good and tasty. I would definitely recommend Waterlily to someone wanting to try another way to eat indian, celebrate, or simply be mesmerized by their decoration.

We have just celebrated how 11th wedding anniversary at Waterlily and I've got to say absolutely fabulous Molly and the whole team were fantastic the food was amazing the service impeccable it was great to see a DJ that played some great soft relaxing music.We even had a beautiful card as well many thanks for making our anniversary special.

Myself and my partner came for an anniversary meal. I ordered Vegtable garlic massala and was given chicken. I checked with the waiter before eating if the meal was vegetable and he advised it was. However, I then spotted large chunks of meat in my meal. It took several attempts to get a waiter's attention and when I finally did and explained I am a vegetarian, the waiter simply walked off with my meal without saying a word. I was given my order eventually but at that point, I was completely put off my meal. Another waiter came to take our food away and asked if everything was ok. I explained what had happened and the bad service we had received, commenting again that I am a vegetarian. However we were not offered anything as an apology and was expected to pay the full bill. I have previously had great service and meals (both takeaway and eating in) However this experience has completely put me off coming here again.

Went on a Monday evening for my daughters birthday, service we got was very good and was nice of them to put birthday glitter and a card on the table. Food was fantastic, very filling. Only downside was the works going on in the back yard area which looked scruffy. Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed our meal. 1st time eating here, nicely decorated, separate car park from Curry's, prices are reasonable. Lots of choice. If you have a normal appetite then a mains dish each, with a rice and naan bread to share should do most couples.

Had my husbands 60th Birthday party here in the room upstairs. It was fabulous from start to finish. The new owner, opened up especially to let us decorate the room before hand and even helped us. The food was was delicious and the staff were brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making it a great memorable evening. Highly recommend 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

We usually have a Takaway, but managed to get a babysitter, so decided to eat in. The food was was fantastic as always. Great welcome and friendly staff. I would certainly recommend Waterlily and look forward to going back as quickly as childcare allows.

We tried the Waterlily for the first time last night and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. I had the Jalfrezi which I absolutely loved. Overall a good meal and great experience we will certainly be going back.

Me and my friend had a great experience in this fine establishment. We had initially noticed the ambient lighting alluminating the building from a distance and wanted to investigate. We decided to dine here and glad we did, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and enough to satisfy a ravenous apatite. We got complementary drinks at the end which was a nice touch. It is nice to see a family business that takes pride in their restaurant to expand and focus on great food aswell as customer service. We will visit again

Wonderful food and delicious, the lamb bhuna was moist and tender and the paneer masala was very tasty, the fresh naan bread was very tasty and soft. The delivery arrived just before the the time it was scheduled for which was a welcomed treat, would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from water lily again.

Wow had a great night. Food was fab service excellent and price was good. Staff couldn't do enough for us just spot on. very clean. View down stairs of a lake with lots of wild life (swans and babies at the window) will deffo be back. Staff were very smartly dressed. This is a casual or smart dress code you will feel very relaxed either way. The place is much bigger inside than it looks outside. Great for large bookings. Portions are good sizes. Service was good on time about 10 mins wait for starters and about the same for mains. Didn't manage to fit a pudding in lol didn't leave room. We even took a doggy bag home. You wont be disappointed. We eat at alot of indian restaurants and this has to be my favourite.

Have just moved to Mansfield and looking for new places to eat. I will definitely be going back here, the service and hospitality was exceptional. The employees were so kind and went above and beyond for me and my friends. Every restaurant should be like this! Not to mention the food was delicious and a great price too.

A large group (20+) of us went this evening for my mums 70th birthday and it was amazing! The staff looked after us so well! They left a card for my mum, decorated the table and the hospitality overall was second to none. The food was amazing and every dish was piping hot when it was served. I can’t believe how smoothly the night ran and our whole party left happy. Thanks again for making my mums night so special! We shall be back again soon!

Moved really close by a week ago. Walked past with the dogs on their evening walk and the smell, appearance and setting were so inviting we decided to finish our walk and try the food. We called on spec, greeted warmly and seated within minutes, even though the place was pretty full. Food, service and personal attention second to none. We'll definitely become regulars. Price was totally reasonable. See you again soon.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, great decor. First time visit, will definitely come again. Everything freshly made, hardly any wait, although it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night. The Biryani sauce was amazing, varied menu and generous portions made to the spiciness you want.

Booked in for new year's eve arrived to find they had no record of booking despite us having paid deposits we were just sat waiting and when asked if we wanted drinks we have our order but we weren't allowed a drink as we had no table . Eventually after 35 minutes we were told there was a table then took 45 minutes for our starters to come our mains then eventually came but we had chase for 10 minutes for cutlery the food was nice but wasn't great amounts of good in. We eventually finished after 3 hours arriving on time. Asked to speak to manager and their brother was sent who just wanted fob off with we'll look after you next time etc eventually gave us a tenner off As first Impressions count we will not be returning

Amazing food and service on Christmas Day 2024. Catered for gluten free and our 2 year old, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed nothing too much trouble. Will be back next year. Thanks so much!

My first visit to this restaurant on the 28th December 2023 The staff were all excellent and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the service was extremely fast. A lovely restaurant with lovely staff I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it too anyone

Me and my family have come here many times and it’s always been amazing. The servers are so friendly and accommodating and the food is to die for. Very reasonable price point for such a brilliant restaurant. Can’t wait to come again.

Pickle tray was bland mango was very runny. My chicken tikka, rice, chips were nice but my husband had chicken dupiaza the chicken was undercooked and cold in the middle. They did swap it and apologised. The kema nann had very little meat in. Sorry would not return.

This is an Indian restaurant, however I don't like Indian food, but that doesn't stop me going with friends. I had Lamb chops for starters (is it heavily speiced) and a t-bone steak for my main course and it was really nice. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Service was good, it's not too expensive.

One of the best Indians I have been too and the service was amazing! We had a lovely waiter (I didn’t get his name but had his hair in a low bobble), so attentive and polite. The food was so well presented, tasty and fresh. The interior is stunning and looking out on the lake just add the special touch. Would recommend to everyone, best Indian in the Mansfield area by far☺️

What an experience! We came on a Saturday night, it was lively and the staff were very friendly on arrival. Food was sublime. You have to go for this fish, I've never had a dish like it, the sauce was light and the fish was like butter. I can't fault it. Service was attentive but not rushed, we could take our time choosing dishes and sitting with drinks once we'd finished our food. Can't wait to come back!

My sister and I arrived ad hoc on a Saturday evening hoping for a table. They moves heaven and earth to arrange a table for us and it was the best sear in the restaurant. Roberta waited on us, she was kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was a DJ playing live soulful tunes. Brilliant evening and the food was delicious!

Absolutely fantastic. We've be been tonight 23/6 for my wife's birthday. Made to feel very welcome by the polite friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us. The meal was the best we've had in years. A fantastic evening looked after by Akash and the team. We were a group of 16 and were supremely well fed and watered. Great service and excellent food. Would definitely go again if in the area.

We booked a table for a party of 15 on the 28th December 2022 for my wife's Birthday. Greeted warmly as always and we were surprised how busy it was just after Christmas and being a Wednesday evening. Food and service were excellent as always although there were some delays in getting the food out To be fair, not all down to the kitchen. We had confused matters by requesting 5 separate bills which made it difficult for them to co-ordinate. I have to say though, they did it very well and the bills were perfect as was the food. This has to be one of the best eateries around and we love it. Both Molly and Akash were very attentive and their plans for the future sound amazing. We cannot recommend Waterlily enough. Whether you are a couple, out with friends or a big group, you will certainly not be disappointed. We will be back, and very soon.

We ordered on NYE for collection so understandably it was crazy busy! The staff although rushed off their feet were all very pleasant. Food took a while to be ready but atmosphere was good. I'm not local so won't get the chance to come in often but would like to dine in sometime.

We are so happy we found this restaurant whilst on a short break at Sherwood Pines! What a gem! The venue is beautiful, clean and stylish with parking just outside. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, helpful and professional, everyone of them! And to add to all of this the food didn’t disappoint either. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We just wish we were local to the area as we would be regulars! Thankyou for a lovely evening!

Had dinner there last night, waited an hr for the food to arrive. Okayish food but have had better. Had a DJ there and to be honest, I don't know why and the music was far to loud. If I wanted to listen to loud music, I would have gone to a night club. All diners, had to shout to hear each other. Advice to the owners, ditch the DJ and just have soft low volume music in the background.

Got to be the worst take away i have ever had to the point I refused to eat it after all the waiting. I have never seen so much oil in my life and not even right to my order that I placed. Food was near 1hr late and the daft driver did not following instructions to not knock on front door as got kids.... guess what she woke them up. Far from happy and would not recommend. Ordered bottles of beer and they were even out of date. I will be asking for my momey back

The food was fantastic 5⭐ the staff were lovely but when a group left we were the last table in the restaurant and they were cleaning up around us as in mopping floors etc which did put a dampener on our night as we felt we had to hurry our drinks and leave before we got in the car they had put the shutters down which is a shame as other than that the evening was lovely

I would not recommend this place food was undercooked curry was over oily, customer service was terrible when complaining. Ooo and if you complain you have the guys “trying” to intimidate you. Which is comical, because they are no good at it. Avoid people at all costs go else where. As you can see if you look on my reviews I don’t usually leave bad reviews I just don’t go back again. But this was a the worst experience ever

Fantastic food and great staff with superb customer service. Thus is our go to Indian whether its takeaway or a jight out. Highly recommended.
