I have amended this review as I originally gave a 1 star. On reflection it should be a 4 star for the food, but a 1 star for the lack of Covid control. ************************************************************************ I called into The Old Mill Bakery today which I have to say does do really nice cakes and sandwiches, so I have no complaints from a food aspect. However, this morning (17/12/20) around 10:30am, I was really disappointing that they did not adhere to the wearing of masks and one woman in particular stood at the front of the counter seemingly oblivious to the signs requesting customers to wear them, having a conversation about some travel arrangements to Leicester with the server. She was neither buying anything and just taking up space texting and talking whilst customers were trying to social distance and even waiting outside the shop. Please please stick to your rules

Excellent quality, proper fresh bread.

I bloody love Manchester tarts so when I came in earlier for a cob and saw them, I had to have one. I now feel ill as I've eaten it all (with just a little help from my friend) BEST MANCHESTER TART I HAVE EVER EATEN. Staff are super friendly too. See you next week 😆😆.
