Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Our server Patricia was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She even has items that she loves to have! Everything tasted freshly made and presentation was on point. You will not leave hungry. You will leave with leftovers and hopefully dessert 🍮

$3 Margarita Thursdays are the best, and the food is great too. I got the brisket tacos, and they were really juicy. Love the service there as well, they really take care of your table.

Upon entrance your first thought is YES! But NO! DO NOT be fooled by those smiling faces and the ambiance! I have been entranced by the aroma that wafted in the parking lot for a while because I used to do yoga at The Sunshine Yoga Shack a couple of doors down. My Husband and I found ourselves in the area on a Friday evening and I said hey let's try it! We were greeted and seated immediately. This is going well I thought! We were seated between a party of ladies who appeared to be finishing up and behind us there was a party of 3. Then it went WRONG as soon as Narahy appeared on the scene! She was just NOT happy that we had been seated in her zone! I told her it was our first time and asked questions and she said "that's up to you" very boorishly. We brushed it off but when she went out of her way to ignore us going from the ladies table then to the table behind us and then maybe check on us but not too attentive because my supposed "Peach" margarita (DON'T ORDER THAT by the way) way late for us to finish it and then offering to send it with us in a cup. Never received that guacamole I had to tell her! It takes a LOT for my Husband to get upset he's mild mannered but after being clearly passed over perhaps because of the melanin in our skin, He was over it and the Sopaipilla that I was hoping for was not going to happen! He proclaimed that he was not going to spend not one more cent seeing as we were already up to $50 and she was laughing and engaging with the surrounding parties but basically wanted no part of us! All of this is to warn you if Narahy is your server ask to be MOVED! Food was MEHHH! Didn't live up to expectations and the service made it worse!

Had lunch here on a Friday. The food is great, and the salsa was very good as well. The tea was delicious. I’m adding this place to my list! Update: 3 months later, came for lunch and ordered the combo fajitas. The food was great. But, this is not fajita meat, this is beef steak cooked and sliced in strips and cooked fajita style. A lot of restaurants have fajitas on their menu but then the food comes out it’s not fajita meat it’s steak or some other side of beef. Or maybe it’s the way it’s prepped. I’m used to having fajitas marinated for a day or so and tenderized before cooking.

I love a good Mexican restaurant and this place has been better that just good. So far everything I've gotten has been excellent. Their chips and salsa are my favorite. To me I find the chips and salsa of a Mexican restaurant to be that one thing that sets them apart from others. I thoroughly enjoy a good tasting salsa and this place delivers that for me! They have a green salsa that tastes amazing but also has a bit of a kick to it. I highly recommend this place!

Food was good but our server was really good. Great even! He didn't miss a beat with our large table and his other tables. He was carrying a large tray with fajitas, all the steam, and sizzle destined for another table, while he delivered to-go boxes at ours he then very calmly asked if there was anything else he could get for us, and thanked us. And still quickly delivered those sizzling fajitas. Very natural, very efficient, attentive service. Good food, I'd eat there again.

Well... this restaurant was recommended by other folks. I had seen it many times driving by but never occurred to me to actually try it. So glad we did! We had the Guacamole de Mesa for our appetizer. And Fajitas for two for our meal. Yum! Chips and 2 salsas come soon after you sit. Wait staff is prompt and attentive. Inside is clean. Temperature is just right. There is an outdoor patio and a bar. This place is a must stop! Go! No need to think twice.

We had a most excellent Sunday lunch. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was out of this world. Portions were enormous so you're not leaving hungry😁

The food and service were top notch! We hadn't been here for a few years, but it certainly did not disappoint after the hiatus. Definitely recommend for quality Mexican food in Mansfield!

Light warm crispy chips and salsa were good! Chimichanga was very tasty, full of beans and meat. Taco De Mexico was excellent 👌🏽. Laredo Nachos were tasty and also full of meat. The food comes out quick and correct. We will be back.

First time here for us and we see why it’s got great reviews. We had the tacos de Mexico and the chicken Verde enchiladas. Both were delicious helped by great chips and homemade tortillas. We’ll be back again.

I was expecting better. The food was okay, about average for a Mexican restaurant. The dining room was wide open and between other diners and music playing was very loud. It didn't help that the AC was out, but this was my second time being at the restaurant (months apart) and they had a similar issue that time too.

  • 4/5 T C. 4 months ago on Google
Food and service were great. We really enjoyed it. - it was 53 degrees outside on the day we went. They had the AC blowing and ceiling fans going. It was brutally cold and this caused us to speed up our meal - we went into survival mode. Personally I don’t prefer fans overhead when I’m eating - I want my food hot. Restroom was clean, 100% with purse hooks in stalls and all supplies.

Absolutely delicious-the grilled poblano (lunch special) with beef fajita meat will keep me coming back. Can’t wait to try other things! Wish the green salsa for the chips had a kick, but still great!! Waiter was very attentive, their balloon/streamer display was super cute too, nice touch! Edit: went back again today (month later) and that green salsa had some heat!! Excellent!!

So tried this place had only been open about a month. Love Mexican food looked the food up and saw nothing but good things so we went. Customer service was great when we walked in but same thing our server didn't seem to be to thrilled we were there and wasn't much help woth questions about the menu. Come with free chips and salsa one salsa roja one salsa verde then one with serranos but they all just tasted very sweer and blah. We both tried the sopes and they had a choice of fajita(F) and or ground beef(GB) and you could mix and match 3. I got 2 F one GB and my bf got all 3 F. They looked amazing and the ground beef one turned out to be amazing but the sopes shells were just so big compared to the amount of meat and for 17 dollars I think you should at least get your money's worth. The rice and beans didn't have much flavor and came out cold. We ordered drinks a large beer was 11 dollars and a peach margarita was 10 with a dollar off for HH. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL

We have been doing carry out with their delicious tamales, so decided to come & sit down to try other meals. Everything was very good, except for the so called guacamole. It was simply smashed Avocado w a few pieces of tomato on top. No onions, no lime juice, no peppers, no salt. I can't understand why they failed so miserably on something so simple. I definitely wanted to give a 5 star, the service was great, and all of our main dishes were delicious. I had shrimp tacos, hubby had 3 beef enchiladas, oldest son had beef fajita chimichanga, youngest son had the loaded nacho plate. Please make a better guacamole! 🤞

I ordered the tilapia it was a bit bland. Next tried the spinach enchilada and wasn’t seasoned well. However, our waiter was amazing really good service the host & waiter.

I want there for lunch. I liked the menu that I read before I arrived. I wanted some good tacos, like the ones from California, where I used to live. I also make good homemade tacos. The description of the tortillas was"lightly fried". I thought they were homemade. I ordered the taco dinner that includes 3 beef tacos, rice and beans. Red salsa was delicious. I was disappointed that the tortillas appeared to be the store bought, pre made ones, like Ortega. Other tan that, it was tasty. Could have used more cheese. I'll keep looking for the perfect tacos.

I actually live in the San Antonio area but was visiting my daughter and her family. They said they knew this cute restaurant that had had food and man they were not wrong!!! We started with chips and salsa and some queso of course - they were all great!! I honestly don't know why my Mexican restaurants don't have Sour Cream Enchiladas but I was so happy to see that Mama Cuna's did!!! They were delicious!! Thanks for the memories and the awesome food!

Odd layout inside, some tables too small for two. Columns big and bulky. Place was busy for 2 in the afternoon. Chips and salsa came out quick. Thin chips almost too thin since about half were crumbs. The Chile relleno was okay, batter was different and cheese filling was missing flavor. The chicken burrito was good sized and the chicken was very flavorful. The mangomoy margarita very tasty even could taste the booze. Best part no brain freeze. Waiter was good but disappeared at times. Would come back if in the area.

Wow! I wish all restaurants were this amazing! The service exceeded expectations. The food was a great value and so delicious we came back the next night. If we lived in the area, we'd definitely go here at last twice a week! Try the enchiladas. They're the best I've ever had my whole my life!!

Upon coming in, staff was very friendly. I ordered beef fajitas. Only got grilled onions, but NO bell peppers. When I asked Jose if they stopped putting bell peppers with fajitas, Jose said, oh no, they still do it. I said, "Well, I didn't get any". Jose said, "Oh they probably didn't put very many on your plate!" Geez, guess I just can't tell a green bell pepper from a white onion. Well I know I don't have a seeing problem, there just wasn't "any" to be seen! Jose didn't even ask if he could bring me some bell peppers. I did feel a bit good service slighted for a $50 for two lunch and only leaving a $5 tip! On the way out, the mgr didnt say "thank you for coming", nor did he ask "how was your lunch?" After reading the good reviews and hearing from others about their experience here, we had to try it out, however this was our first and last visit here. Guess we'll go back to Cha Cha's or our newest fav Mama Angie's on 1187.

I enjoy supporting businesses in my neighborhood and I'm thankful for this delicious Mexican hot spot. I have been many times and have never had a bad meal. I have had all types of entrees, but my favorite is the three enchiladas - cheese, chicken, and beef. The margaritas are crazy good.

This was our first time eating there. The service was outstanding and the food was delivered fast and hot. I ordered the enchilada plate and the sauces were amazing. There was plenty of sour cream and queso sauce. The rice was authentic and very light and tasty. We will definitely eat here again.

One of my favorite place to eat and have margaritas at! Green salsa is spicy mixing it up with the red salsa is the perfect blend for me. Customer service is always great!

I got combo #2 during lunch hour specials (12pm to 4pm). The enchilada was pretty good. Taco was okay as meat was a bit salty. Server was great and attentive. Def come! They have great happy hours too for drinks on weekdays. Price is a tiny tiny bit higher than that reflected on the menu prob due to inflation.

It was super busy and loud when we were there, but not the restaurant's fault. The food was very delicious! The thing I love the most is the grilled chile relleno, stuffed with chicken with ranchero sauce! This is the first one I've found that tastes similar to El Rancho Grande, which has closed. The waiter seemed very distracted and hurried, and my glass did not get a refill, but the place was packed with several large parties. Chips and salsa are delicious and I'm picky! We will try again at a less crowded time.

We’ve been eating here for five years, and have always loved what we had! Everything is delicious, and when they sub grilled veggies, they give you real, big, crisp, grilled veggies! The flan is traditional and excellent. The queso is the best in Mansfield. The salsas are hot but not too hot. The margaritas are always perfect, and the service is fantastic as well! We love bringing friends and family here, and our kids even eat here!
