One of the best Italian restaurants in Kuwait! The Truffle dishes are to dive for, and the Short Rib Risotto melts in your mouth! Would truly come back here again, but keep note that this is a high-end restaurant.

Find dining, Italian restaurant with an amazing outdoor tables. Reservation is required. I love the balsamic they offered with the bread basket. It was so yummy. We’ve ordered Caesar salad lasagna steak and all was so good. But for me, the perfect dish was Cacio e pepe made by the Italian chef Giuseppe. He was very wellcoming and he wanted to make sure we liked all the dishes. Pricy though.

This is my third visit to principale restaurant. In the first two visits, I would give it a five stars; nonetheless, on this 3rd visit the food quality was less than average. I don’t understand why! Maybe they changed the chef??? The staff were very friendly and nice. The outdoor is perfect for a dinner at night.

Well the experience was very nice. Starting off — a great seaside location. The ambience is very classic and the interior decor is great. A place has a nice vibe and a lot of positive energy to start off a Friday morning with. Make sure you reserve your table in advance and that will surely help you get a table even is space is scarce. And space is indeed sparse on a Friday morning. Parking is insufficient since the parking lot is shared with the Slipway clients. Overall I enjoyed it. Reason I gave 4 stars is since the menu didn’t have enough variety and I feel taste can be improved a LITTLE bit more. (The food is tasty) but I expected more.

This Italian restaurant is on the Arabian gulf street. A nice Italian restaurant having a romantic atmosphere. The staff is responsive and welcoming. It has a beautiful view of the gulf in the outside section and has an authentic interior design. We ordered Arabiata pasta, a Napolitano style pizza and spaghetti. The pizza had overburned bubble type structure along the periphery of the pizza. I think this is due to the fact that it was cooked in a very high temperature oven. The pizza’s bottom part was also burnt. When I asked about this to the waiter he said that was normal but I couldn’t eat it. You are eating like carbon.

I have not been here in many yrs (from before they renovated). My server Dayo was very Professional and made our experience there very pleasant while overlooking the gulf. We had juicy shrimp frites appetiser, a generous portion of steak medallions with mushrooms and Caesar salad. We enjoyed everything! The desserts were also decadent and we will share only one next time.

Atmosphere is the best. We were lucky to get table facing the sea & it was cold & lovely. They even give you blankets & theres a heater. Food was not bad, the steak was disappointing. We were not asked how we would like the steak to be cooked, & we received it medium. We returned it & asked for it to be cooked medium-well l, its our preference & customers should be asked what they prefer. cacio e pepe is amazing. Dessert tiramisu was not good, it had hazelnut & the taste of coffee was not prominent. Chocolate mousse average. Parking is free & not an issue to find a spot.

Really good Italian food at Principale. We had the calamari and crisp salad starter and the mushroom themed pastas. Lots of birthdays were happening inside and it was an elegant, busy vibe. The outdoor winter garden is also cute with an Italian themed set menu. You must reserve in advance - included is a photo of the outdoor garden, but we did not eat there.

Wow. One of the best meals I have had in my entire life. I have visited 42 countries and this is one of the best meals and service I have had in my life. In particular, I want to say a thank you to Rahul who was so attentive and friendly. I would recommend the sorbet if you want a fancy experience after your food!

Starters and salads are perfect. Main courses are average. I would revisit again for the good vibes and nice view.

Made a reservation for three before two days for a Friday lunch, with a special request to have a our table next to the window. Once we’ve arrived, the first thing the host informed us was that it’s unavailable, and there isn’t anything he can do about it, and it’s not guaranteed once we make a reservation…. Why have the special requests then?? His behavior made us decide very quickly to change the restaurant. Quality of service is equally important as everything else in any restaurant.

Visited the restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Food was great. Atmosphere was wonderful and is in a great location. The staff was courteous and attentive. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Nice restaurant. Great relaxing atmosphere. The food is good but I would not call it perfect hence the 4stars (I had the shrimp which was large portion and greatly presented but was a bit dry and bland taste wise. The receiving lady was exceptionally nice to make us a reservation on a late notice.

Place is amazing. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. Food is tasty, though the appetizers stand out from the main dishes. Prices are expensive, which makes it an occasional place to visit.

Good place for a lunch.. Location is on the beach so you have sea view around you. Menu doesn't have a lot of variety but whatever is available is good in general. I love ordering their chicken cottoletta and calamari as an appetizer. Service is usually quick and their staff is nice. But I recommend increasing more items in their menu.

Went for a birthday celebration my favorite order was the veal milanese and fried calamary its to die for , what made this experience extraordinary is our server “Eno” she took her time to suggest dishes and to make sure everything is customized to our taste not to mention she had a beautiful voice singing happy birthday 🥹

Fantastic dining experience and the best restaurant in Kuwait in our opinion. Rahul was our waiter and was the best, he was super attentive and went above and beyond for us. We had Arancini, Calamari, Ravioli and Pizza and they were all AMAZING starters/Mains. For Drinks/Desserts the highlights were definitely the liquid nitrogen Lychee Sorbet with Dragon Fruit and the Dragon Fruit Cosmo Cocktail. If you’re in Kuwait we would 100% recommend dining here and will be returning when in Kuwait next!

The pricing is fine, I ordered a steak medium rare it was cooked well done. The waiter told me my steak was "medium rare" while its color was grey from the inside👎🏽 he promised " we will make you another one" only to come back minutes later saying "we ran out of steaks" 😂. It was 5 pm. Who runs out of an ingredient or dish at 5 PM!!!! What a joke!

Where do I even start? From the beginning, of course. I stumbled upon this italian restaurant through google maps. The food was delicious and extremely fresh. We ordered a plethora of dishes and everything was a solid 10/10. The garlic bread was the best thing I’ve had in a LONG TIME. Also, the dessert is also amazing. The interior and exterior is stunning with a beautiful view of the sea. The vibe is impeccable. Even though its high end, it has a sophisticated cozy vibe. When the sun sets, its dimly lit so it could also be a nice date spot. Souman was our server and he exceeded our expectations. You’re welcome!!!

We had very lovely dinner with my friend to celebrate her PHD graduation! We enjoyed amazing ambience, hospitable and professional service and good food ! P.S. when weather is permitting book a table outdoor and just enjoy ! Believe me you not gonna regret it !

It’s a nice place with an amazing sea view. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning because of eating the roasted fish there. I recommend to order anything from a dough in this restaurant and avoid fish meals.

Nice atmosphere with good Italian choices. Situated on the gulf the restaurant has a nice view with lots of light. The outdoor seating could be a bit upgraded.

The taste and the presentation of food is amazing. The view, as well, in the morning/afternoon is spectacular. On the other hand, it is extremely cold and airy. The power and temprature of the AC is uncomfortable. The music also is irretating. I wanted to finish my food as fast as I could to leave and skip the dessert, unfortunately.
