I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL First of all, in the hairdressing area they only have one person who runs from client to client without ending up with any of them afterwards. In my experience, I went to get a root touch-up on a Friday by appointment, and I started the bleaching process while She was serving another client so much when she realized that she was no longer going to be able to paint me, she told me that I had to come back on Monday in two days with my hair half painted, and that I also had to cancel the entire process since they had not finished to complete the girl at the reception wanted to charge me more than what we had previously agreed with the owner, she refused to speak with the owner until she agreed and I agreed to not have any more trouble, on Monday I went to have them finished the process even though they were supposed to have time for the result to finally be good and 10 minutes later another girl arrived and told me waiting there mass hour I painted the other girl also to the hairdresser when she saw my disgusted face she checked my hair and I washed it, I barely applied dye and finally I dried it, the difference in tones was not so noticeable but when I rinsed my hair afterwards, the roots were very uneven to the hair and everything was matted THEY DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY STAFF!!!!!! IN THIS HAIRSTYLING SHOP THEY USUALLY CHARGE MORE THAN WHAT WAS AGREED ON BY PHONE

I stopped in today for an artificial nail treatment. In the US, I get the dip powder, which I don’t believe is available in Ecuador yet. The owner, Fausto, speaks a little English and he assigned me to Elaina. (I apologize if the names are misspelled.) Elaina trimmed my nails, and prepared them for a gel overlay and fill. I was very please with the results. The spa is lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Happy to recommend!

Great experience. I had a gel manicure, pedicure, and massage. All services were professional and well executed. I would definitely visit if in the area again.

I received a professional therapeutic massage, with a complimentary glass of champagne, a nice surprise. The therapist was obviously well trained and targeted the right muscle groups. They use the standard Ecuador massage table: a flat padded table with a cutout hole to rest your face. I prefer North American tables but can't find one in Ecuador so far. The table is covered with a towel and you get a standard bath towel to cover yourself, which is quite small and offers almost no modesty. If they used sheets and blankets and got a table with a face cradle they could get a lot of expat business.

I’m staying in Manta and went to Backstage because of the great reviews. I was not disappointed. Edgar colored my hair and I love it. He’s amazing. The cut and color are beautiful. Such a great salon. My husband had a wonderful hot stone massage and hair cut while he waited for me. Everyone was super nice and he loved his massage and hair cut as well.

Was recommended to come to this spa by 3 different girl friends.Had a great experience with my hair cut. I showed a photo of what I was looking for and that’s exactly what I got. I have gotten SO many complements on my hair. Clean, friendly and good pricing. Will definitely be back.
