Great hotel! Great location and restaurant. Really enjoyed staying here. It’s in a safe location. The staff was great and most spoke perfect English. The pool is well kept and was a great spot to relax. The restaurant and breakfast were stellar! Breakfast had a different main course everyday, but the same fruit, oatmeal, soup, eggs, and basics. It was good a good stay!

Love this hotel, definitely coming back! From the pool to the room to the food! Everything was great. The staff was excellent. The location is also great (it’s located near the beach and next to a mall where you can pick up anything you forgot to bring). Only not giving it 5 stars because although the wifi is good but it wasn’t great and other minor things. But if definitely recommend staying here

Very nice hotel. Great service and location.

Everything was OK. A little short on cleanliness (bird droppings on the balcony that were never cleaned) and breakfast was mediocre, though staff made a special breakfast mor to our liking upon request. So nothing to merit a 5 star, but nothing to downgrade to 3.

Nice hotel, nice rooms.. kind of a hidden location so I did like that.. On the outside, did not like, but once you get inside it's a great surprise. Showed up for breakfast 10 minutes before closing and the food was already being taken away. Good views if you get a higher room.

Very nice hotel. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The only thing I would say to be careful of is the stairs. There is one part that doesn't have an elevator. And the part that has an elevator, you have to go up some stairs to get to it. Also the breakfast is upstairs but no elevator.

I was very impressed with the Balandra Hotel (namely, the staff and the amenities), although I did not stay as a guest! My parents-in-law were visiting and stayed the week at the hotel. The first thing to comment on is how the staff at Hotel Balandra accommodated my parents-in-law by allowing them to check into their room a couple of hours early. Secondly, as a family (with 4 children under 8), we visited my parents-in-law nearly every day at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by the staff - from Daniel and Luis at the front to, to Maria Jose and Oscar, we were welcomed by all of the staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities that the Hotel offers, specifically a small park for children. The park was a hit among our girls, with a trampoline, a play house, small ball-pit, hula-hoops and play cars (to name a few). The park was very well maintained, as well as the entire premise. With 4 little ones, bathrooms are a regular stop and Hotel Balandra seemed to offer a bathroom at every corner. In summary, I was very impressed by the staff and amenities. The location was very ideal for my parents-in-law (right next to the mall - where there is a Mega-Maxi and a variety of restaurants & right next to la Playa Murcielago), who don't speak Spanish. The staff was so friendly that my daughters made some crafts for them from shells they found at the beach and my daughter personally wrote them a letter to thank them for their kindness.

Excellent service, the food was delicious and the staff very kind. The room was comfortable and beautiful, very nice places to take pictures and the water of the pool was divine.

Great location and extraordinary service!

It's literally a stone's throw to Mall del Pacifico and very close to the Murcielago beach. Hotel employees are among the best I have met. They were always ready to help with any little detail.
