Blessed with a wonderful location with straight view to the ocean, this hotel is big, comfortable, beautifully decorated with modern touch. However, service is quite poor, which is really bad for an expensive accommodation. Staff was slow, you could find the box of used coffee from last user, pool was full despite restrictions which is unsafe, and so was the restaurant where they serve breakfast. They have two restaurants for that matter, but they kindly suggest you stick to the one everyone goes. Btw, loud hotel. I have no clue what they do at night. Saloons are awesome though. Great, five star Saloons.

All guests that stay at this hotel should know that the owners do not treat their employees well. They do not pay them sometimes for months and take advantage of them. This is a sweat shop hotel disguising as five star. If you want to help the owners of this hotel continue their sweatshop tactics then stay here if not go to the Oro Verde for a much nicer experience. The employees have not been paid in 2 months now and this is done to them all the time.

If you like to enjoy the sea, the weather in a quiet environment this is definitely not the place. They put loud reggaeton music from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. or later. There is no place where you can read a book or concentrate doing something you like because of the music.

Not my kind of place to stay and they flooded the lobby and entrance with people. Difficult to walk to street and taxi.

This would have been a 5 start Review. The hotel is great but they did a very poor job in explaining something so important as money. Good thing we came prepared and not on a budget. Before we even travelled to Ecuador i called to find out their payment processing I was told I would be charged for the stay when we arrive and when asked on how much would the held deposit be I was assured there is no deposit needed. As you might imagine I was surprised when we arrive at check-in and we were told something else. At the Front Desk we were told that we would first have $1,500 held for the total of the stay (Total was actual $1230 something) and then we would be charged at the end . All in All we were there from 11/17 to 11/21, today is 11/27/2023 and they have yet to release the $1500 and then charged the actual stay of $1200 on 11/21/2023. So when you come here please have double your stay on your account. Not everyone that travels can afford to have $2700 just on the hotel. Aside for that one big miscommunication, breakfast buffet was always good except the juices, I would have drank water if they had. I have never had such bad natural juices so watered down (I guess i did drink bad tasing water ). Hotel was always clean and the staff was great all around including the outside security guys. One thing though if your room is Ocean view or on the Right half you will deal with the loud music coming from the Posiedon Rooftop bar that on Fri Sat and Sun can go all the way into 3-4 in the morning. The Wifi is very weak in the room so do not come expecting to have great wifi for remote work. It was barely enough for social media on your phone or youtube on their tv's.

Very Bad hotel. In front of the hotel is a club and played music all night My kid couldnt sleep. In the morning we had to wait to get access to the buffet due to the lack of tables. At the bar their was no bar keeper during the afternoon to take a coffee.

I was very comfortable at the wyndham hotel. At the end of the year with my family we decided to go to spend in the city of Manta, and we chose the Wyndham Hotel. The hotel is nice, modern and elegant, it has a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, parking lot and reception hall. The negative of this hotel is that it does not have direct access to the sea, but it is close. Personally I recommend it, although it is better to go with friends.

All included used to have a better food. Now they serve a menu that if you stay longer than a weekend is not good enough.

Would be nice if some of the members working at reception were a little more respectful of guests. We're the ones paying to be there, the least a guest would expect of the service is patience and respect.

If your you want to stay up very late partying at conveniently nearby bars, this is hotel is a great option. However, if you want to get a good night’s sleep, go elsewhere as the excessive late night music volume (lasts until 3:30 AM) associated with these bars makes getting a good night’s rest impossible. The hotel facilities and staff are great.

Bad customer service, Hotel finishing is bad, internet cable was showing all over the table.. Didn't feel like am in a "5 star hotel" as they say here!

It was a solid 4 stars. The breakfast was my favorite thing about the hotel. The pool is ok but it seemed dirty. So did the windows everywhere. I stayed on the top floor with views to the city, ocean and pool so it was very nice. For Manta and for it being a "5" star hotel I was a little disappointed.
