Diner
beware!
We
popped
in
for
a
lunch
on
a
Friday,
after
seeing
‘Fish
&
chips’
advertised
outside
the
establishment.
We
were
shown
to
a
table
hidden
in
the
rear
of
the
restaurant.
I
had
to
request
a
table
which
I
had
seen
was
vacant
in
a
brighter,
airier
section.
We
ordered
the
Fish
&
chips
and
a
pot
of
tea
for
two.
The
tea
came
with
a
pot
of
hot
water
(plus
point)!
We
waited
for
the
meal.
It
arrived
a
little
later.
We
were
surprised
at
first
as
I
did
not
see
the
fish.
The
ready
made
sauce
tartare
was
there.
Some
mashed
watery
tasteless
frozen
peas
were
also
in
a
pot.
Then
I
found
the
fish
impersonating
a
large
chip.
The
description
should
have
said
‘Bloated
fish
finger’.
It
tasted
very
good
as
did
the
chips,
but
I
would
not
call
it
a
main
portion,
more
like
sample
size
taster.
If
you
do
visited
this
establishment
I
would
ask
what
is
the
weight
of
the
main
protein
item
before
you
decide
to
order.
I
attach
a
picture
so
you
may
judge
for
yourself.
The
fish
is
next
to
the
lemon,
they
are
about
the
same
size.
And
just
to
add
my
partner’s
fish
was
even
smaller!
