I always wondered why this store was dirty and understocked and now I know why. I had the misfortune of meeting the manager today during a return; a cashier was just asking her questions, and the manager was nonstop rude and condescending to her and I both. Then when the return was over, I went to buy other things I needed and noticed her FOLLOWING ME!! I was at one end of the store and she was there pretending to be doing something, then I went to the other side of the store and not too long after, she was there again pretending to be doing something while eyeing me. Then I was in line checking out and she was doing another return and was again condescending to the elderly lady. The reason this store is always a mess and falling apart is because the manager. Shes rude to her staff so obviously can't keep anyone working here with her attitude and I as a customer don't plan on coming back to this location.

Their customer service here is very poor, they simply aren’t very nice. Jennifer, a manager, told me I could not return a Serger because it was opened. Okay, fair enough. She showed me on the receipt where it says no opened electronics can be returned. My issue is the way in which she treated me when I came to return it. She acted as if I should have already known I couldn’t return it and was bothered to have to take the time out of her day to come explain it to me. I didn’t argue, I didn’t demand I get a refund, before I even spoke a word all she said to me was “Uh so, what’s even wrong with it?” With a snarky look on her face and a sharp edge to her tone. This is customer service these days. It’s disappointing because I shop here a lot, I wish the workers were nicer. I had another interaction a few weeks back where I was guilted for trying to find a more affordable option on Amazon, she said “That’s why Joanns is gonna go out of business, people always wanna save a buck.” Excuse me, but Joanns is not a mom and pop store.

Love the store, but I felt the 3 employees (1 most definitely manager/higher level) could have helped the one cashier. About five customers waiting and their was a coupon issue- on a Saturday! The cashier handled it like a boss. Not in a hurry, just hate seeing 1 person taking on the entire workload- especially when a manager is five feet away.

the two times I’ve been here to start/fix a project my experience has been amazing. Both times Jennifer has helped me, and she is truly dedicated to helping customers have the absolute best experience. She spent 20 minutes helping me find a fabric that had been discontinued just so I didn’t have to start completely over. I absolutely love coming to this location.

Great service at maple grove store from Lynda at the register! Much better experience than at hobby lobby. The store is well labeled. Found the items I needed. Good sale prices-70-80%off. Then Lynda also showed me their online coupon which saved me 50% off my highest regular price item. Nice!

Great service and kind people at this location. Larger selection than my local Joanne's as well.

The best JoAnn in town! Great customer service and lots of great items in their clearance section. My only complaint is that the store is always busy on days I go! So the line to have fabric cut is a little longer than other stores. But for the price and quality, it's worth the wait!!

I would have given them 0 stars if I could, They're unprofessional and Racist. I asked them to give me 6 yard of cotton and cut into two pieces, which is 3 yard, The lady told me it's against their policy, and I said fine, just give me 3 yard for now she was like, "Are you sure you only need 3 yards? "I said yeah, just give me 3 yard. I took 3 yards and went to check out and went back to the lady to give 3 more yards after I purchased. She told me she doesn't have it anymore. They hide in front of my eyes. I told their manager this lady hid it from me, would you ask here where she hid it she said this all we have. I told her to check their camera, and she said I can't . What kind of managers backed up their employees if they're not doing their job correctly and also didn't want to sell their fabric . I won't recommend anyone to go there. Please choose different locations
