Just tried this pub today. I want It to succeed! It’s literally around the block and in a location that should do well. To the owner- this could be more of a gastro pub- food can be better! Not sure why the menu is so basic. Also- the decor - please warm the place up. Feels very Hampton inn hotel bar. No art, no warmth. Put some more love into the place and people will come. Good food, (incl thoughtful and interesting options), nicer beer selection, and better ambiance. People will flock there. Please!!!

After a long wait, the Avenue Pub is finally open! I didn't try the food but did have one of their specialty cocktails and wine. The dining room is spacious and there are plenty of tvs to watch your favorite games. Bartenders are nice and attentive. Looking forward to trying their food next time.

Staff is very friendly. Food was very very good - we had the chicken savoy and a burger and both were very impressive. Had pizza and mozzarella sticks next visit. Loved them too and happy to have a new spot in Maplewood to watch the games.

Really love the atmosphere, this is the PERFECT place to go to after a long day of work, I don’t get “diner” vibes from this place, but more so “upscale” pub vibes. The interior designer did a wonderful job and I love the bar area where you can drink & watch games on multiple giant flat screen TVs. Their drinks are really good as well, perfect place to bring your family/friends.

new spot! great little neighborhood sports bar that's definitely needed for the area. super friendly staff, Nicole & Kaitlyn were awesome behind the bar. Food was okay, not bad by any means but could use a little more love and attention. cocktails look amazing, with a decent beer selection. would love to see some more craft beer options though. they have a beautiful large bar with plenty of seats and proper amount of well placed TVs. will be returning soon to try more food and visit the friendly staff!

They are recently opened so I’m going to give grace on service issues like waiting for orders to be taken, or for drinks/food to come out to the table. When we did get it the food was pretty good. The drinks were good also. The atmosphere is nice, it’s a spacious place. Nice big bar area. It’s walking distance from my house so I will definitely give them another try. I’m sure the updated review will reflect them working out any issues. Street parking isn’t a problem there.

Great addition to Springfield avenue. Super clean. Bartenders are very friendly. Well staffed. Got the wings(ate before pictures) and the Philly with onion rings. Great pub food.

You're looking for a really good burger or cheesesteak? House made chips? Big pretzel? Nachos? Nice staff. Nice meal. Go have fun!!!

Wonderful addition to Springfield Ave. We got a warm greeting and sat at the bar. Very nice bartender and great draft. Nice atmosphere with TVs. I got the burger with onion rings. 12 oz is pretty big but it was good. Looking forward to a,Happy Hour addition and will definitely be back. Check it out.

We had a great evening at the Avenue Pub. The food was fantastic and the service was just as great. Great place to watch the games with lots of TVs which the area is missing!!! A lot of these other reviews seem excessively harsh on a place that just opened a couple weeks ago. We loved it and will return again!
