Beautiful restaurant location. Best place for sea food lovers

Well located in Catembe, the restaurant has a beautiful view of Maputo city. Great music, and a good atmosphere. The perfect place to hang out with friends and family and grab some drinks. However, the food is not that good. The service likewise. Everything is very slow, even when it is not full.

Really awesome place, o Farol is one of those iconic ones in Maputo. Although it’s on another city (Katembe), it’s quite worth the drive there, you get to see a beautiful view of the city of Maputo, from the ocean, as well as the bridge. You can also take a nice walk on the beach and explore the sand, water and more. The place has some really good music and Deejay to entertain the guests. And best of all, the seafood. It’s a wonderful plate of offer. Some of the best seafood you can find them here. It’s definitely worth it. I would recommend got friends, family, or even yourself alone.

Good place to eat and enjoy a day with the family. Quality of food is good but people who don't like too much sound and noise. Place is not recommended for them. Overall, it is nice place.

The food, the views, and the vibe were all incredible! The city skyline while sipping on the local beer Dos me is definitely, worth a visit!

Regrettably, I drove all the way from Southern Sun over lunch hour. It was a long wait for my order, but the vibe wasn't bad. At least the waiter that served me spoke English. The menu was in Portuguese 😁 as an English speaker had to use translate App. All in all, I enjoyed my meal and vibe. Loved the paranomic view of the city

I truly love how Resturant O Farol is Built. Kudo’s to the Building Contractor! I have never seen timber build work that is so beautiful and meticulously done. I loved the ocean view and the delectable Mozambican Cuisine. I will definitely be eating here again. The atmosphere, the structural appearance and friendly service are well worth noting!

U have to devein your own Prawns, so don't order the kilo, cos by the time u cleaned them all its ice cold...Drinks also pricey but the setting is great

Starters were good and fresh and were served quickly, but with main course fish was dry and took some time to get to table. The quality of the food depends on how busy they are.

The food was disappointingly chewy, for the first time. The Grilled calamari and prawns didn’t feel fully cooked, unfortunately. Shame we saved this outing as a date in a long time. Pity.

The orders made were delivered to our table very quick, the food was amazing well worth the price. The attendance was alright, it was a very busy sunday (as expected) so it could be better
