Very nice and clean hotel, the pool and view is beautiful besides a few buildings. However the service is really bad. I checked in yesterday and am here writing this review still, I arrived at the swimming pool 1h30m ago and have requested twice for someone to come take my order but no one came so far! I had to call the reception to ask again, and still no one is coming! Plus the pool side lawn was filled with bottles and cans from the previous night which obviously indicates a party happened here but no one is bothering to clean up. It feels either like thw employees here are either on a silent strike or they simply don't want the business to be successful! Such a shame for a very nice place. And the hotel doesn't seem even 20% occupied so what is the staff even busy with? Anyway, I would come again if the service is improved or management changed.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant and met the expectations of a 4-star establishment. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, there were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. Firstly, I noticed that complimentary body lotion was not provided in the rooms, which is a standard amenity at most hotels in South Africa. This was a minor inconvenience but would have been appreciated. Secondly, the toilet paper rolls were quite small and ran out quickly. I had to request more rolls on several occasions, and on my last day, I was unable to get a roll delivered to my room despite repeated requests. This caused some unnecessary stress during my stay. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend this hotel to others.

Clean rooms and good food. Safety may be a problem because main entrance doors are open full day.

Went there for the Wednesday bacalhau buffet. Everything bacalhau. It was an amazing experience, a bit pricey but definitely worth it

Younus, his reception staff and the guy who was cleaning the rooms on the 25th of November 2022 are exceptional workers. But everyone else is just on holiday especially that laundry section that made me wait for 18 hours to get my clothes ironed (a paid service).

Beutiful, recently refurbished clean rooms. A good view of the sea i.e. if you get the rooms with that view. Wonderful service. Loved the breakfast. I recommend

Look, i am super satisfied with every single aspect! Seriously, the way the staff is trained and doesn't use the training by it's self, they actually standby your needs as clients. Especially happy with the receptionist Mr Youness and Miss Maria, it was a fenomenal weekend and I couldn't recommend a better place to stay. The room service was a delight The food was good Little details that can change anyones mood to be frank. I truly had a good time.

Close to many resturants.Hotel feels like it was built in a rush. Rooms spacious though toilet had bad smell. Very few Tv channels. Breakfast abysmal. Eggs prefried and unattractive layout of food. Dining room unattractive and food layout poor. At the lobby I was rudely called to pay in advance for my 5 day stay when I had already put card detail down I suppose language barrier. Staff uniforms not standard across staff. Its ok for the price

Hotel Girasol was one of those places I went for lunch with my family as a child and it brings and happy memories for me. It is nice to see the improvements made and to know that it can still be a calm and elegant place to go for dinner, relax after a long day and be with the family, the meny us versatile and the food is good. Being back was overall a great experience.

Good hotel for working trip to Maputo area. There is a nice breakfast, restaurant and swimming pool. There is a gym that I haven't check. If you are staying over the weekend be aware that in Maputo's hotels it is common for people to rent a space and areas such bar or swimming pool may be crowded with people from outside the hotel.

Wonderful view to downtown and Maputo Bay. You have a pool bar and a restaurant. On Sundays, the pool bar offers a brunch up until 3pm, for a very reasonable price. There was even live jazz this time! The service is nice and the environment is pleasant.

What a good surprise, never went to the hotels restaurant and the food is awesome. Nice breeze, great service and the meat was divine. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Superb rooms, good staff but meals vary between disappointing and bad. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Have stayed here 5 times now and return only because I like the rooms and plenty of other cheaper and better places around to eat at.
