You get all the veggies and fruits and even fish and meat from here.. They are segregated everything so neat and clean. You get all spices and all from here. The shop people are very nice as well. You can buy from different shops and pay together to one person and they will distribute the money themselves. I mostly buy veg and fruits from here.

Great market for fresh veggies. You can also get, wigs, hair for braiding, Brazilian hair, hair products. I also got good cashews here.

Is a very good place to go. But always avoid the money exchange guys and car guards, concentrate on where you are going, I enjoyed their pure natural honey 🍯 .

Extremely well stocked fresh produce, has a variety of stuff from spices to everything and all veggies and seafoods. Lots of fresh cashews. Reasonably priced.

This fresh produce market is a burst of flavors, colours and people. The prices are amazing and the quality of the produce will be hard to beat anywhere. We were blown away by the fish. We actually returned 3 days in a row. Most of the vendors are very happy to help and assisted us in finding exactly what we needed!! It's available to take small change though. That can be a bit of a mission.

It's a must see. People are friendly and there is so much you can get there, I've even found awesome fruits that you must try. Coraçăo de Boy (Bulls Heat Fruit) and Graviola (Soursap fruit) are family to the Custard Apple fruit.

It built in 1901. Local market. I really enjoy eating traditional fruits in there. It also very cheap.

Loads of fresh vegetables and fruits and the sellers are very polite and enthusiasm. The price is good also. Lots if varieties to choose from. Will definitely go again

The seafood section used to be good, now it is hardly recognizable. Some of the car watchers are very agressive and intimidating in their approach to customers. Not a pleasant experience at all. Dont think I will be going back there in the fear future, its not worth it.

Lovely market, full of local food and people. Here you can find any type of local fruit, vegetable, spice... Very useful to be able to taste the local food from Maputo. There are also some local restaurants very close with cheap and tasty food.

Nice piece of achitecture and well organised market. Fruits, vegetables but also souvenirs and hair products at the back. For tourists beware of the money changers. I suggest stick with the banks. Vendors a bit pushy but not unfriendly. Definitely worth a visit.

It is my to-go place in Maputo for any and all type of vegetables and fruits. The quality of fruits and vegetables are very good and fresh. The sellers are friendly and they also learnt a bit English and Hindi names for the vegetables. Varieties of legumes, nuts, piri piri sauces and spices are also available here. There is a small area for fish sellers.

A beautiful African market! In addition to be a master piece of 19th century architecture, all the smells of the spices road.

Tons of local food and products. Best price but the place not for the faint of heart. Be aware of surroundings and Get ready to bargain prices! Worth the trip!

Awesome market, wide variety of fresh veg, fruit and many other goods.

At the Central market it's possible to find any type of vegetable. I believe it's a plus as this is situated in the Central District. They also stock cashew nuts, basketball from different provinces. They should however improve the cleaning at the sea good section. As I entered the Market I was greeted by an unpleasant smell of dried sea food. I do appreciate the fact that sea food has a natural smell. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos.
