Stayed here on 28th May.The resort services are very poor. No proper wifi, android TV not working due poor wifi, dirty muddy water now( no water in taps for more than 3 hours), pool not operational and other issues also. 1. Water was not available in taps from 1245hrs to 1545hrs. After that the water that finally came was totally muddy(images attached). They didn't have any other alternate source to provide good quality water. We could not even brush our teeth properly due to this. 2. WIFI was very poor due to which even the android tv was not working. 3. There were frequent power disruptions and no automatic power back up. They had to turn on generator manually and staff were reluctant to do so. Had to sit in restaurant without power for nearly 15 minutes. Similar issue occured in our rooms also. 4. One of the restaurant serving staff had a very bad attitude. Even no menu card is available in restaurant or in room for room service. It took nearly an hour since taking order for food to be served in the restaurant. 5. The resort has good ambiance and spacious rooms with good quality fittings done. But maintenance of same is not proper. 6. Swimming pool is unserviceable. The resort Manager Mr. Akhil was the only responsible person available throughout .He offered to change the room at around 2100hrs. Went with him and inspected another room. But the muddy water issue was present there also. All other staff were totally unprofessional. It was a really bad experience with the stay at the resort. Even hotels half priced this are giving better basic facilities and hospitality. The owners of the property need to hand over the day to day management to a professional team for sustainability.

Good service. Clean and spacious rooms. Good restaurant. And they will help you with arranging transport and other attractions in local. Overall a peaceful experience

The stars are for good ambience of the property and nice behaviour of the front office staff. The food and beverages department is a huge let down. Had to wait for hours to receive ordered food and that too in parts. The food was cold, tasteless and undercooked. This happened at 11 pm so practically no other choices available outside. After the polite attitude of the reception staff the quality of restaurant was a rude shock. Took the matter up with the F&B manager in the morning and realised the root of all this was that one guy himself. He was unapologetic, arrogant, indifferent and rude. He managed to blame us for everything from the service being bad to food being tasteless. Get rid of him and your resort will get better ratings and reviews.

Everything was so good. Just 1 km to the beach and right besides the road. Great accessibility and great ambience and calm garden also

In this Hot Summer, They will give One ltr. Of water in the room and upon asking for more they will charge for the water. Where in Water should be free. Only One Charging Point was there in room, AC didn't work.

Rooms were big, elegant. But no proper fixtures for amenities. Very big hall, AC is fixed at one corner. Only AC side person gets AC effect. Other side person, virtually no AC. In bathroom, toilet paper roll is fixed far away from the commode and near the wash basin, that too at a height. No toothpaste or brush. Very astonishing part is that the hotel doesn't have kitchen of its own, it's not informed to the occupants at check-in. We came to know only when went to restaurant and wanted to place order. On orders, they will get from outside. In between if one wants extra roti or new dish, it's not available

Half way through the trip, but it’s en for me to write a review. Once you check into the hotel, you’re on your own. People at reception aren’t responsive. And for a simple requests (passing on the food menu, getting waster bottle), they take ages to respond /acknowledge (took an hour and 4 calls + 3 personal visits to get a food menu). Checkin too was a long slow process as if we’re applying for a new Aadhaar card. I’ve read good reviews on google about service in this hotel. Perhaps the staff has changed making this worse than a lodge

It was nice stay in a pleasant ambience, nice views and memorable stay, tasty food n good service but staff should be professional, one of the staff was smoking infront of me while doing duty, especially he is doing restaurant service that felt unhygienic n bad for me , please take care of hygienic n professional service ,

An average space with below average food quality and worst staff behaviour. The restaurant staff behaviour is third class and the property as such lack a competent supervisor. Highly recommend a complete staff restructuring right from reception to room service and most importantly restaurant staff. They literally cut corners in every aspect of hosting a guest properly.

Strictly stay away from this place. Far far far away from the city centre. Extremely pathetic food quality and services are zero. Mosquitoes all around restaurant. Staff is arrogant and unprofessional. If you want to spoil your experience, please visit on your own risk. Thank you!

The rooms were very clean and luxurious, however the swimming pool was being renovated so we couldn't access it. The service was excellent including the food, which was good. However it is located quite far from Alleppey tourist places which makes transport a bit expensive.

Food was good, but may be not as per the our taste. Swimming pool was under maintenance. Gym was well equipped but due to some reasons it was closed. It was quite place, perfect for travellers who want peaceful location. Its about 2 kms from chetty bridge and 4 kms from marari beach. As a whole it's a good choice. Budget friendly hotel. Okay for an overnight stay if you are on s budget; but not the place for a relaxed vacation. Room service was prompt; housekeeping concerns were addressed quickly. Complimentary breakfast was good and delicious.

We had reserved super delux rooms for our guest (3 families including kids ) attending a family function . The front desk staff Mr Anoop were very cordial and assisted from reservation till check out . The relatives were impressed and happy about the stay . Thank you team Karapuram and staff.

Had a wonderful time with family. Swimming pool was under maintenance. Service was commendable. Complimentary breakfast was not buffet but they had dosa, puri, idli, bread toast, fresh juice, tea and coffee on offer. Rooms were spacious though I would recommend putting out 2 chairs on the balcony of the super Deluxe rooms to enjoy the view outside. Chethy beach was 1 km away and a good place to just chill and relax watching the waves and the crabs scuttling around. It was an enjoyable trip on the whole. Mr.Anoop and staff were most helpful. Not sure why this awesome resort has a low rating. Should be around 4.3+ Extremely polite staff. The rooms were very clean. The quality of products used in the room and the bathroom fittings are of top quality. Bathroom was a big one and had a big bath tub. Ample parking space. Lot of greenery in the resort. Can improve on - the restaurant and the bar. The menu can get better and the service could get quicker. Have better Wi-Fi connectivity. Your tv works on internet but the wifi was very poor.

Ambience and food are very good. Maintenance to be improved. Front desk hospitality is really great. Recommended to stay with family.

Karappuram Village Resort is one of my favourite holiday destination. I am a regular visiter whenever I come to my home town, Cherthala. This is a beautiful Resort which is situated at Kanichukulangara. "Kanichukulamgara Devi Temple" is one of the nearest attraction and it is less than 10 minutes drive from Karapuram. Resort has got all the amenities which includes restaurants, Executive/Non-executive Bar, Party hall, Spa, Swimming pool etc.. This place is the ultimate destination to rejuvenate yourself. Energaizing atmosphere and serene tranqulity will elevate your mood and happiness. All staffs are extremely courteous and ready to help you at any time. Akhil, Shiva are few among them. I have an excellent rapport with Akhil who is always maintain a "ready to help" attitude. If you are looking for a place to chill and relax, do not hesitate to check-in. Karapuram Resort won't disappoint you. Mark my words. And I will give 5/5 rating. Please note: They have different packages and most pkgs includes breakfast as complimentary. Also, Restaurant serves delicious food.

Excellent service Mr. Anoop the Manager was very helpful. The resort is located in outskirts of the city 20 km from backwater boat boarding location. But the resort is in lap of nature. Marare beach is 1km away, free cycles from resort is provided to reach the beach. They have gym, restaurant and bar. Nice place if you are a nature lover and want to moove away from hustle and bustle of the city.

It's pretty good, for the price they offer. It's great they offer good rooms for a reasonable price in a town where this is hard to find. The lady at the reception is also friendly and deferential, and seems genuinely interested in serving.
