I have been ordering from Jim/Dave for quite a few years, mostly the sliced ginseng. The quality is superb, service has always been great, shipping was fast. I have bought Ginseng from several other vendors/shops in the past, maybe subjective, but I feel that Schumacher's ginseng tastes stronger and quality is consistent throughout these years. Yes, I am a returning a customer, and yes, this is the ONLY place I buy ginseng from. Equally importantly, with high inflation rate and everything been getting more and more expensive, Schumacher has NOT increased price! I just order 6 lbs and the price is the SAME as five years' ago!

I (stupidly) placed an order 2 days before a trip to China and because I wanted to bring some WI ginseng as gifts. I placed my order and sent an email asking if they could expedite the shipping process. To my surprise, they shipped out within a couple hours and refunded my next day air shipping I had purchased. It was delivered the next day on UPS Ground because I live in Wisconsin. The customer service was wonderful :)

This was the second time I bought ginseng from this store. Jim and Dave are very easily to communicate with. The prices are very reasonable and the ginseng is authentic and has unique pleasant flavor. The key is that the ginseng is planted by themselves, from their land and farm. The quality is reliable and guaranteed.

I have lived in many different cities in the states but always buy ginseng from them. They have the best American ginseng. I live in San Francisco now. Although there are dozens of (or even more!) local Chinese stores carrying American ginseng, I still buy from the Schumacher's. Always buy from the grower, not the vendor. Always.

Best Wisconsin ginseng- I only buy from Schumacher because the quality is great and price is very reasonable! I say it is the best because the aromas remains strong and better than the other brands that other people gave us. I usually buy a huge qt for relatives on holidays. Ginseng is an anticoagulant so watch out for drug interaction! I take ginseng when I need an energy boost or when I feel I am coming down with a cold. It works extremely well. I have given to my coworkers who getting a cold and everyone who had tried it swears by it. It works, just don’t over do it. The only thing that I don’t like is lack of choice for the free gift that comes with purchase...
