Not a good eating experience. All the food came out in one go, olives that should have been served with the drinks and for which you're charged came out after the mains. The cazon fish had so much salt in the batter it was uneatable. We mentioned to the waitress but she didn't offer to replace or discount. For the high prices and amount of staff I was expecting much better service. Very disappointing, Nice location but better value and quality venues nearby.

They squeezed us in for a last minute reservation. Overall a great experience. The baby calamari squid was light and airy. Just delious. The anchovies and chips are a must order! Beautiful view and attentive staff with great food. What's not to like?

Very busy. And right on the beach. So beach prices. Service was OK. But like most Spanish places. The service is very patchy because they were so busy. Food was pretty good. Worth a try as they are famous for paella. But go on Friday when you can have many paella for one price buffet style. I had the biscay cod.

Brought snacks(olives/shelfish/bread) on their own behalf, never asked for it, paid 5,50. Wasn’t optional? Prices are ridiculous, staff seems rude or not even interested in working there, asked for a side salad, brings a massive bowl of the whole garden with tuna? They said thats all they do for salads. Be aware of this place. Not worth your while. Good luck

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Alabardero in Marbella, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening. The restaurant's interior is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and elegant décor elements added to the overall charm. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. As for the food, I started with the Buratto as an appetizer, and it was simply delicious. The combination of flavors and textures was spot-on, leaving me wanting more. The attention to detail in the presentation was evident, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the seafood paella. It was a true masterpiece. The rice was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of tenderness and a delectable hint of saffron. The generous assortment of fresh seafood, including succulent prawns, mussels, and tender calamari, made each bite a delightful journey for the taste buds. The portion size was ample, ensuring that every seafood lover's craving would be satisfied. The service at Alabardero was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. They were prompt in their service, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. My only minor observation was that the dessert options seemed limited. However, the quality of the main courses more than made up for it, and it didn't detract from the overall experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Restaurant Alabardero in Marbella for its fantastic ambiance, delectable Buratto appetizer, and outstanding seafood paella. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner or a memorable culinary adventure, Alabardero delivers on all fronts. I look forward to my next visit to savor more of their delightful offerings.

Awful food and awful service. Only good thing was the location but didn’t even get a choice where to sit. A lot of waiters were walking around but almost no one willing to serve you. Ordered two mojitos which never came and then they tried to charge us for 4 and didn’t even apologize when we made them aware of us never receiving any drinks at all. Staff was quite rude for the most part. The food wasn’t good at all and not really edible and extremely overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I strongly recommend this restaurant right by the beach with splendid views. Got off to a good start with the complimentary olives and prawns. The paella, turbot and sea bass were excellent as we're the children's meals

Went there last Sunday. Very poor service from an older guy, who may have thought he was being humorous in belittling a friends Spanish when she asked him about the drinks we ordered. They never arrived but he still tried to charge us for them. Simply ignored us at other times. Manager not available to take a complaint apparently, and the staff member we spoke to wasn't interested either. Paella was OK though, and it's a great location. Speak to your staff! I would speak to mine pretty sternly if they behaved in the same way.

There seemed to be a mix up with our order. The wine bottle arrived 17 minutes after ordering because I complained that there was no wine after 15 minutes. The starter arrived 10 minutes later. From then on it was perfect. The food was excellent and the wine sublime. The puntillitas were cooked to perfection and the black rice with seafood was the best we have ever eaten. Alabardero's will become a regular.

Very nice place directly by the San Pedro Beach. Specialist for rice dishes. Nice place also for a drink before lunch on the grass area. Friendly service. As a frequent guest over long years never disappointed. Exception today: The restaurant is undergoing complete renovation. There are, however, drinks and snacks served at the paseo maritimo. Unfortunately there are no bathrooms. Some 80 customers are advised to use the public beach toilet nearby. This facility was filthy and difficult to access. The situation is unacceptable, legally questionable and proof for bad management. Hopefully the situation will improve soon.

I think it is overpriced. Food was not bad. But 6 slices of manchego for €19,50. Small fries for €8. Fish was not bad, but not special. Will not come back. There are better options close by.

Lovely view over beach just had coffee. Tried to book restaurant for night before but advised closed. Problem the toilets are closed. Pointed to public toilet down beach but that too was being renovated. So was a problem finding somewhere. Husbands coffee went cold whilst searching for toilet staff had zero interest in replacing or warming up for him. Not unreasonable to expect access to facilities. Shame was lovely spot for coffee.

We ordered Paella with shrimp and mussels. It was good! And also the Turbot fish. Right next to the beach. Good view. Will come again! Also the free shrimp and olive was very tasty.

Great location for this beautiful restaurant. We sat outside on the promenade, and the service was fast and accurate. Our server was friendly. The views were fantastic with a mix of sea, beach, and people. We ordered Ox rice, calamari, and Russian saled. For the area, the price was spot on, and the presentation of the dishes was nice. All of them tasted ok but were not to our liking. All in all, we would go back for drinks if we were in the area.

Food was very good, especially seafood and fish. Great atmosphere and really great staff with good sense of humour, also they don't bother you every 5 minutes by asking if everything is okay. Only bad thing I can say is that the menu is deceiving. So I ordered paella which was shown to cost 25€ and yet at the end I was charged X2 that. The girl explained that this paella is for two people and therefore prices is X2 she said it is explained in the menu yet the price is shown for one person. If the dish is meant for two people why to show price for one? Before ordering waiter tried to explain it but because his English wasn't good he couldn't do it properly and it appeared that he was joking by saying that this dish is too big for me and it's minimum two people. But anyway, it was still good experience and food was good it's just that by the end this surprise left slight bitter aftertaste.

The rices were amazing, the staff is very caring and hospitable. My friends enjoy coming here as it is close to the sea and there is variety of spaces to sit and enjoy your time.

Too late for the pictures but the Paella de Pollo y Verdura was amazing. Alfredo took care of us like family. Better would be unreal. Nice place with the sea 🌊 just in front….👏👏👏
