This was our first time at Lester’s. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday and the only wait time was 5 min. The place is clean but the service was exceptional. Debbie was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Lester’s special skillet and my husband ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. The food was fresh and tasty. My only complain is that the seats are extremely worn and uncomfortable but other than that it’s a great place to have breakfast.

What an amazing place!! As we walked in we were greeted and seated. As we sat down the sever introduced herself and asked us if it was our first time there and explained everything to us. The server we had was Mia and she was soo sweet and amazing!!! The food was soo good, fresh and warm and yes this was our first time here. The bathroom was clean as well.

My first time there and I'm absolutely hooked. I had the most delicious Spinach Pie, it was huge I couldn't finish it and the Onion Rings were just how I like them. They have an extensive menu and I can't wait to try it all. Thumbs Up 👍🏽

Oh... WOW!!! What a find! We ordered 5 different meals Burger, Philly, Chef salad, Lasagna, Fried steak. They were all wonderful. Rarely can you find a place that has such a varied menu that are all top notch in their own respective. The server was so pleasant and conversational, took extra care of our group. It took longer than usual to get service, the AC was hot in the corner..... But let me repeat how great every dish was that we ordered. And the German chocolate cake was fabulous.

Lester’s Diner In Margate is a Definite Go-To Restaurant! Five (5) of us drove down from Boca Raton in search of the Diner after deciding we wanted to have a “Comfort Food Meal”. We arrived at 6:15om to see several patrons waiting outside. We presented ourselves to the very pleasant Cashier / Hostess who told us we couldn’t be immediately seated and our wait would be “… in a bit!” Which we loved. Within 10 minutes we were seated in a booth that reminded us of the TV Show “Happy Days” and the diner / hangout featured in the town. Menu’s we’re already scattered on the table; nice touch; and within a minute our waitress appeared with napkins / cutlery and her nite pad to take our initial drink orders; which she returned with, in a few minutes. After reviewing the menu, we all opted for something different. I had the mushroom stuffed with seafood & shrimp on the side and was amazed to receive seven (7) shrimp when my order arrived - along with two (2) sides - lettuce & tomatoes plus great mashed with gravy. Other orders were their grilled liver; open face hot turkey sandwich; Cobb salad & meat loaf. Every one of us said our dishes were served hot and absolutely DELISH & of ample sizes. A few of us also sampled their chicken matzoh ball soup which was also really enjoyed. We never bothered to ask if any bread was available as the main courses were so filling. Our bill for five (5) was $90.00 and we were close to being stuffed. This is definitely a Diner we will return to furious stay in Southern FL. Worth the wait & price!

Classic greasy spoon diner with some interesting twists. The food is fine for diner food, and the menu is huge. I appreciated the mix of American staples, all day breakfast, and Greek diner dishes on the menu. Server was great. My husband ordered a turkey club and apparently the kitchen won’t put Mayo on the sandwich themselves, it comes on the side. This is very mysterious and I’d love to know what made this policy happen. I got the seafood stuffed mushrooms and I was surprised with how good they were. Pretty tasty and a great price considering they came with two sides and a soup or salad. The matzoh ball soup was ok but pretty basic. Got a slice of chocolate cake to bring home and that was excellent. Overall, Lester’s is a classic diner and I appreciate their menu size. I wouldn’t wait a long time for a table here, but it’s a good spot for comfort food.

I think it was one of the worst experience I’ve had at that establishment. I’ve ordered the 2-2-2 with toast and instead of pancakes I asked for waffle with chocolate chip and if they can melt the chocolate chip on the top. I’ve received the plate with no toast and the chocolate chip on the side and was told “that’s how they do it”. When I received my toast, they were burned. A lady next to me even had burned toast and she had to scrape them. I did not bother the waitress too much as it is thanksgiving and they were shortstaffed. But for the love of god…. Think instead of running on your feet between tables and kitchen back and forth doing 1 table at a time… Why would you even let burned toast leave the kitchen. I will probably be back as I like the establishment but it won’t be for a while. Also never received a receipt I asked for. I’m pretty sure I was overcharged.

Friendly attention. Tasty classic cheese hamburger with onions, lettuce, fries & pickle. The half & half Tea tasted absolutely delicious. Very clean and decor takes u back to the 60's diner.

Have done breakfast and dinner there. So good I go 4-5 times a week for veggie wrap and great salads. Staff is prompt and thoughtful. Oh yes, they do social distancing for all the booths. Considerate to senior citizens.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful evening there with superb meal and a professional crew and an impressive cuisine. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall surely come back soon. Highly recommended.

Should be 41/2 stars. Everything about Lester's is great except for the eggs Benedict. Dont get it. It is nothing like real hollandaise. Go to Coral Springs diner for eggs bene. Other than that, Lester's is great!

Do yourself a favor and don't get breakfast food here. This is not a yummy breakfast food diner. Maybe they were back in the day but now their breakfast is tasteless and OVERTLY EXPENSIVE. Tell me how you would make an avacodo bacon omelette? Put the avocado in the omelette? Exactly. I was given a gigantic omelette filled with bacon and a small bowl with HALF an avocado, not even sliced. For and extra $3!? I could buy a full avocado at Publix right now for $1! Then they charged me $8 for a fruit bowl, which the server specifically said was not a side, it was a big bowl. NOPE. This was the size of a sliced banana. Just completely outrageous. The bacon was undercooked and still stuck together. The white toast was untoasted with some liquid butter on it and the whole wheat was hard as a rock. This is the cheapest bread you can find? It tastes like cardboard. The toast should have real butter and spread evenly. NOT THIS liquid, oily, crapt. The home fries are so big you have to cut them in quarters yourself. CUT THE POTATOES before you cook them! The potato's were undercooked as well even after we asked for extra crispy. We were really looking forward to this breakfast. Just stop advertising that you are a breakfast diner. Just do lunch and dinner if you can't do simple food well. I could've made a better quality meal at home.

As a first time customer I was extremely dissatisfied with my food. I purchased a corned beef sandwich. The meat was extremely dry, around the edges the meat was hard as if it had been in the refrigerator for several days. I had to pick through the meat. I called the next day and expressed my concern and the rude lady stated since I didn't call the day of purchase, it was nothing that can be done. Excuse me for being busy at work and not having time to call and complain about food that should have already been prepared properly. When I mentioned that I'll just leave a review she was completely unbothered. So not only did she not apologize for the experience, she made me feel not valued. I'm only one review but I will definitely not dine there again. Sorry not sorry

One of my favorite breakfast places in the city. Always a line to be seated but def worth the wait! Everything they have is made fresh daily so just about any dish you order is going to be good. I try to order something different each time I go but I can't help and order a side of their french toast every time.
