We only spent one night here, but we got a big, nice clean room overlooking the Drava river, and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. The staff is friendly and the hotel is well located, if you want to explore the city. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Excellent choice. Good location, it has parking lot at a reasonable price, rooms are very comfortable, and people are nice. I strongly recommend it.

I stayed ther for 1 week last month for the Balkan Olympics of Informatics. The hotel also gave accommodation to all the team Leaders of the participation countries. Great atmosphere, very large rooms and very clean. There was both a shower area and a bathtub. Excelent view to the river. Breakfast was PERFECT for all diets. Staff is great and always there for anything we need. Recommended also for conferences because we had also our conference room. Wifi is great. All the facilites satisfactory. 2-3 mins from city center. ** In additions a big thanks to the staff because they found an item I forgot there and they sent it back to my home at Athens. CONGRATULATIONS and HVALA for the Hotel. Hope soon I will come back. :)

This hotel is a total and absolute failure and would never be in business out of hotel-starved Maribor. I spend two nights here on a business trip and u describable ugliness of the building aside, you beed to know that the extremely loud disco stops the noise only after 3am (!), while the morning drilling starts before nine. I do hope this place goes out of business as soon as possible: the absolutely worst nightmare of a hotel imaginable.

I don't recommend for Friday night as there is a bar across the road and lts loud that we couldn't sleep the whole night.

The staff is the hotel’s only true asset 5 stars for them. The hotel needs a lot of work - especially the sewage smell and condition of the rooms.

We have never been in apartment like this before. It was enormous. I would give 10 stars if I could. I am speachless. So do not hesitate-this is a right place.Perfect location,great staff, modern feel, a lot of restaurants around - just perfect. The only thing I regret is that we stayed only one night. HVALA.

This place was located directly in front the river and had an amazing view. I sincerely feel the need to thank the personnel there. They were extremely helpful and polite at all times :). However, the place needs sound proofing!! I could hear the person next door snoring at night!!

In the middle of the city, close to the river there is this great hotel. I arrived at night, and left early but I do want to recommend this place for the fast front desk, all staff speaking perfect English, and people who are kind and helpful. The breakfast is very good! The room is comfortable and has everything you need. Good bathroom as well. Just had a small problem with the bathroom door but I can not say there are any other complaints. It is a good place for business, but as well for a romantic weekend with your partner. The restaurant offers a great few. There is art inside and if you go for a walk, all good things from the city are within walking distance.

Room was big and quite comfy with barely adequate lights, could be cleaned better and there could be more towels. Noise from other rooms (TV, snoring) is really loud. Staff is friendly and fast. Location is fine near the river with great views, but there are no signs how to get there (there was a construction site and no workarounds posted). The hotel has somewhat illogical lifts, (some go to rooms, some go to garage) and is difficult to navigate with lots of steps in the lobby. The food is fine, more on the high end couisine.

Wonderful big rooms. Amazing breakfast, great position and view on the river. Obiectively the soundproofing of windows and walls is too poor. Anyway not a reason to not come back

Very comfortable, large and very quiet room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A big range of foods available for Breakfast. The Hotel is very close to the old centre. Room rates are good value. Car parking garage available under the hotel for 6 euro. Will definitely be back. This is my 'go to' hotel when visiting Maribor.

My wife and I stayed in Maribor on a recent trip to Slovenia and Hotel City Maribor made the trip that much more special. The room we had was enormous, complete with a full couch and bed. In fact, the space was large enough for my wife and I to toss an Aerobe (think frisbee with no center) back and forth comfortably. Speaking of comfort, the bed was phenomenal and the daily breakfasts were superb. Moreover, while high priced, the seafood was incredible. In a fitting twist, we had just come from the Slovene coast and we found the seafood at HC Maribor to be the best seafood we've ever had. That's saying a bunch coming from me as I've been very lucky to be able to eat seafood in New England and Ireland over my lifetime. In terms of the service we recieved ,our waiter, Mitja, took very good care of my wife and I when we ate at the onsite restaurant twice during our stay. The blueberry liquer, made from local Prehorje blueberries ,was the best liquor I have ever drank. Period. T If you're looking for a hotel that does everything well and you want to spend a little more to have a phenomenal experience, stop looking and book your room! You won't be disapointed!

Friendly staff and nice room with good secure parking. The downside was it was party night on the terrace so it was too noisy to eat in the restaurant or get to sleep even with ear plugs , so you may want to check before you book.

Great location. Rooms are clean and spacious. The pillows are comfy and the staff in kind. Breakfast is tasty and has a diverse choice of food.

Excellent Business Boutique Though the hotel might appear to be a plastic business hotel, it comes with a wide range of amenities and facilities, and a touch of style, that makes it suitable for a long leisure stay too. At the price we paid, it was a great value for money! LOCATION: Lovely location next to the beautiful Drava River, with easy access to old town and all bars and restaurants DINE + DRINK: Cool rooftop restaurant that comes with a terrace offering fantastic views of the Drava river. Great place to chill with a coffee or drink. However the spread of food for breakfast was not that exciting, and they could certainly do better. ROOM: We stayed in one of the Studio Suite rooms, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the River and cityscape; SIZE: Very spacious room ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality cosmetics FACILITIES: Excellent Full-fledged fitness center that is loaded with a wide range of weights, machines, and Cardio equipment. A classy business hotel, but we went for holidays in Maribor. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was also very nice! When you visit Maribor, you should definitely consider this hotel to stay. It's in a very quiet neigbourhood and if you take the premium suite you get a nice view on the river!

Modern, well-equipped hotel in this tranquil town. Safe parking. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were all really big with lovely bathrooms. The hotel has a restaurant which in the summer has a covered terrace with a view over the town. The food was delicious. Good variety of things on offer for breakfast. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is great, including staff and breakfast. Big and nice bathroom and comfy bed too. But there was a party in the restaurant until late at night with loud music. The whole purpose of a hotel room is to get some good sleep, and that wasn't really possible.

Excellent service, rich breakfast. High class restaurant, meals remastered with imagination!

Best place to stay in Maribor. The only downside is the fact that great restaurant on 5th floor is open only until 9pm
