It was my first time ever trying ethiopian cuisine. It was very delicious. We ordered 2 starters and a big plate of main course contains different varieties of side dishes served with shiro(it's kind of crepe but tastes completely different). But I like it very much. I'm very happy that they have lots of vegetarian options. The place is very cozy and the staff who served us was very friendly and speaks very good English too. I would recommend this place. And I would definitely visit again.

Nice and cozy dining experience! There are some interesting restaurants in Berlin which offer the food you don't always get to try. TZOM is a great example of this, being one of the few Eritrean restaurants in Germany. And it's a good one! Dining experience is authentic, they do offer optionally cutlery, but the food can be easily eaten the traditional way which is using the hands. Menu is nice with many classic Eritrean dishes. Really liked the cooking with well balanced and well spiced foods. Portions are quite large and are perfect for sharing. Some nice wines on the menu too and even an Eritrean beer which is not special as such but nice to try. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. Will definitely return here some day!

We ordered platters to share to get a taste of everything. The food was delicious. The sauce with mushroom was on a spicier side. But the taste of everything else together balanced it. So talk to the server before ordering the food regarding the spice level, if you cannot handle the spice. In all, delicious food. Totally recommend it.

Such delicious food and the friendliest service! You can sit outside under an umbrella and enjoy the silence because it's in a nice side street. The coffee smelled delicious and the cook explained us every dish in detail. We will be back!

Gentle and attentive service, delicious food on a huge platter to share and I like that they also offer my favourite thirst quencher at the moment Proviant Lemonade/Rhubarb 😋 also awesome that payment by card is possible.

I really enjoyed African food in Berlin and this place was one of the best. The shared platter with different combination of meat and veggie dishes was wonderful. The stew was full of flavour and a bit spicy. Stuff was great and very helpful. Enjoyed it very much.

Superb service! I have gluten intolerance and didn't know that we can call ahead for gluten-free injera. Still, they were very accommodating and the server totally put up with us and remained humorous all the time. The food was very delicious, too!

I love coming to this place because of the welcoming atmosphere and amazing food! There are plenty of vegetarian options and I also love the moringa tea. The server is incredibly kind and speaks English as well as German.

The waiter was the nicest! And the food was very good. I went yesterday to have lunch with a friend and we really appreciated the experience. The atmosphere is also super relaxing.

We had such a nice time at TZOM, Eritrean restaurant. The food was unique with strong flavour and taste. We enjoyed it a lot, especially the beef stew and the Fatta. Special note for the very friendly and kind service. Overall a great experience with generous portions.

I would advice to skip, and as well the other friends I was with, we were 3 , food was nice, tap water is served only once . But toilet visits the next day were frequent for all of us.

Ich war dort mit 2 Freunden weil wir unbedingt neue Küchen ausprobieren wollen und ich muss sagen ich bin ein Fan. Wir haben 2 Vorspeisen bestellt die wir zu dritt geteilt haben und es war wirklich sehr köstlich. Es war alles gut gewürzt und nach den Vorspeisen hatte man Lust auf mehr. Als dann unsere Hauptgerichte kamen, waren wir voller Vorfreude und auch hier muss ich sagen, dass ich überzeugt wurde. Das Brot, womit mein Essen kam war schön knusprig und das Gericht an sich hat einen tollen natürlichen Geschmack. Mein einer Freund war ebenfalls hin und weg von seinem Gericht und konnte auch nicht aufhören darüber zu reden, wie cool er es findet, dass das Brot bereits in seinem Essen war und nochmal für eine andere Textur sorgte. Als Nachspeise haben wir Tartufo bestellt und uns zu zweit geteilt. Es war wirklich sehr lecker und nochmal ein guter Abschluss zu unserer kulinarischen Reise. An sich bin ich begeistert und kann es Leuten empfehlen, die auch mal etwas Neues ausprobieren wollen. Service war auch sehr freundlich!

The place is cozy and simple. But the food quality is low and overpriced. The bathroom cannot even fit one person let alone two.
