The food was great! The wait was quite long and it was just a little cold when it came out. The portion sizes are decent. Great value for the price! I just think they were a little short-staffed so the service wasn’t the best. But it was good and we would eat here again.

This was my families first visit. I had the BBQ Sandwich and my husband had the wings. My buns was buttered up really nice just as I requested. Dane our waiter was so kind and we never had to ask for a refill. He was on top of it all. Very pleased with the meal and the service. We will be back soon to explore more of their food options.

The service was decent but the food was very disappointing. The fries were cold, the toast tasted like it had been sitting for hours and my sliced pork was full of fat. I tasted my wife’s ribs and they tasted full of fat as well. BBQ isn’t supposed to be the finest cuts of meat but it feels like Sonny’s is going with the absolute cheapest cuts. I was a huge fan of the chain before they all closed and this the first time eating at this “new” restaurant. It’s remarkably worse and they can’t even get the simple things right. How hard is it to get hot fries and fresh toast? I won’t be back and would advise you to go with a local restaurant and skip this chain.

Brisket was delicious and the ribs! The pork and beans a bit sugary for my taste buds. The side salad was fresh and delicious as well. The sourdough bread was delicious and fresh as well. The Arnold palmers were delicious also and they gave you in a big size glass. Our server could’ve been a little more people friendly person but he was OK.

There were 2 of us and we were immediately seated at noon on a Sat. The staff were extremely friendly. I had the pulled brisket sandwich with fries and sweet tea. It was delicious. We will definitely return.

I didn’t like it at all! What a waste of $30 and all I ordered was the bbq egg rolls and a brisket plate! I won’t be back. From the beginning it was difficult 😞. If I wanted my brisket with a roll I only get one side bs two as advertised on the drive thru menu. Now let’s talk about the food! The brisket was decent. I had to use it to flavor the nasty beans that didn’t taste like baked beans at all! I had to use the sweet bbq sauce packet they gave me for my brisket to put on the beans. Whatever you use to flavor the bean CHANGE IT! That was pork and bean out of a can with something even worse added to season/ flavor it. The coleslaw was bland, unsweetened, and not worth me swallowing. The bbq egg rolls….well if everything else was nasty and tasteless you already know that the egg rolls were too! Lastly, the smokin sauce is gross 🤢🤮. It’s a hard pass for me going forward. Revamp EVERYTHING!!! It looks better than it taste!

Went to This location yesterday. Did the drive thru. Ordered Slab of ribs and sides. This is the 1st time I was served burnt ribs, not a little burnt but the entire slab. I drove too far and was too tired to return. This was the worst experience to date I spoke with the mgr Lou and regional mgr, they assured me that we would have a great return visit. I returned on 5-9, it was a totally different experience. Mgr Chris was super super engaging, he didn’t hesitate about redoing the order. The best part was, they asked me inside to look inside and make sure it was good, I responded “no” I know you corrected the order. I went outside to the car, Mgr Chris ran outside and pretty much begged me to open the order and make sure it was great. This was impressive. We will definitely be back. Thankyou

I was ready yo try this iconic place. I can't believe how disappointing it was. The ribs taste like Applebee's, baked in the oven, and topped with sauce. I chose chopped brisket instead of sliced to get the juiciest option. Unfortunately, it was not tender. It was minced instead of nice chopped pieces. And dry. The pulled pork also dry. Mac & cheese tastes like kraft. And the baked beans were so sweet. The best thing I had was Coca Cola and the garlic bread. I am sure this place was amazing back in the day. I am just sad I missed out on those days.

Had a craving for Brisket and never been here before. Good portions of food and was still nice and hot when I got home. The little corn nuggets are good! Did curbside and they brought out my food expeditiously! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I've had better Brisket. Would recommend

Sonny’s BBQ is a chain, and for some that automatically keeps you away. However, this is a chain that still has a smoker and cooks up some pretty tasty bbq! They have an excellent variety of meats, sides and sauces. The restaurant is remodeled and modern but still feels like a bbq joint. I also found the service to be outstanding as well. Ladrika was an excellent server and helped me in and out quickly for lunch!

Always love Sonnys and at this particular location is consistently good. Great service. I wish it was not so expensive. The lunch portion meal in this picture was almost $15! Good food but I can rarely afford to spend this much on lunch. Notice how small the cole slaw cup is.

Friendly service. Food was lacking in the flavour category. They have 6 beer taps but all were empty except 1. There was a bone in their bbq style egg roll. On a positive note, the tater tots were ok.

Great place good food! Our waiter was a very polite and funny young man named Justin Rolls. He was very well spoken and had customer service to the Tee! I will definitely come again.

Nice BBQ joint. Several of us got the sample platter for $22. Great value. We all got there hungry, filled up, AND had extra to bring home. Staff was friendly. Clean facilities. Definitely be back next year. Be nice to have one of these up home in Ohio.

A long life customer of Sonny's BBQ it's good to see this location doing well. There was a time when service was poor, quality of food was lacking, and portions provided to customers was small on a regular basis (smallest chickens on the planet served (drumsticks and thighs), baby back & St. Louis ribs that were on a diet (no meat on the bones), toast that had more holes than actual bread, and sides that tasted days old and not fresh). Over the past couple years and past few visits everything has improved with great service, tasty food, and larger portions. If I could rate my last 5-6 visits they would all be 5-stars. Though menu prices have increased it's comparable to other local BBQ options and they meet or exceed expectations. However, it would be great if Sonny's offered more promotions or specials. We look forward to visiting this location again, keep it up.

I've been eating at Sonny's my whole life. My grandparents lived right next to the original restaurant in Gainesville, FL. It has always been consistently good BBQ. I haven't tried any of their "new" menu; I always get the tried and true sliced pork and sometimes ribs. I went there last week and it was a great experience! They were packed, but I got my food in less time than it took to get my phone out and check my email! The food was great and the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend. I'm going back today!

Best experience of our lives! Regina was our server and she was extremely warm and caring. We got refills on our beverages before we had to ask for them. She also greeted us with straws so we didn't have to ask for them either. And she offered us drinks to go as well! We will definitely be back to the Marietta location!

Place wasn’t too busy at lunch time on a Monday afternoon. I got the brisket sandwich with a side salad. Salad was old. Brisket was okay. Definitely not worth $20 for lunch. Also my last bite of the brisket there was a long black hair in it. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

It was just okay.. Mac and cheese wasn't great at all. It was oily and not cheesy. How do you mess that up? The pulled pork egg rolls were very good. The pulled pork taste like it's mix with some smokey and not smoked meat. Little flavor to it. The sauces at the table were pretty decent. I liked the smokin flavor one.
