My
boyfriend
and
I
stayed
here
recently
for
a
wedding.
The
main
things
I
would
want
to
relay
to
others
that
are
going
to
stay
here
is
that
the
hotel
is
extremely
understaffed
and
to
check
your
bank
statement
carefully
after
staying
because
there
were
over
$200
of
fraudulent
chargers
on
my
boyfriend’s
credit
card
after
checking
out.
You
can
tell
that
the
Lafayette
was
once
a
beautiful
hotel.
It
still
has
a
lot
of
charm
and
is
in
a
great
location
right
next
to
the
river.
Our
room
was
also
nice
enough
for
the
price
point.
What
made
the
experience
extremely
frustrating
was
the
service.
We
were
given
tickets
for
a
free
breakfast
and
went
to
the
Gun
Room
in
the
morning
to
join
his
family.
Of
course,
there
were
many
others
who
had
tickets
as
well
and
the
Gun
Room
was
not
packed
but
was
reasonably
busy.
There
were
only
two
servers
for
the
entire
meal
and
I
believe
one
cook.
We
waited
over
two
hours
for
breakfast.
This
experience
would
not
have
stood
out
to
me
as
much
if
we
had
not
had
the
experience
we
did
at
the
hotel
bar
the
night
before.
There
were
10
of
us
that
went
back
to
the
bar
for
a
few
cocktails
after
the
wedding
reception.
The
girl
bartending
clearly
had
no
experience
as
a
bartender
and
was
extremely
overwhelmed.
We
waited
roughly
20
minutes
for
a
glass
of
water.
It
was
not
that
busy.
The
Lafayette
needs
to
appropriately
staff
their
business.
I
don’t
blame
the
people
working
the
jobs
because
it
is
not
their
fault
they
were
hired
with
no
experience
and
never
trained.
This
is
an
extreme
failure
on
the
management’s
behalf.
What
left
me
a
bit
gob
smacked
were
the
fraudulent
charges
on
my
boyfriend’s
credit
card
after
our
stay.
The
bar
had
charged
things
to
our
room
that
we
had
already
paid
for
with
a
credit
card
and
the
hotel
had
run
random
other
charges
to
the
card
that
totaled
over
$200.
When
we
brought
this
up
to
the
woman
working
the
front
desk,
she
shrugged
and
said
we
would
need
to
call
the
bank.
If
this
is
a
recurring
issue,
perhaps
you
want
to
address
this
so
that
people
staying
at
your
hotel
aren’t
being
scammed.
I
would
stay
elsewhere.
