Lovely place to see. I wish more places were open as when walking around on a Tuesday afternoon lots of places were closed. Still really nice place to see.

The square has so much so offer! There are so many great restaurants to explore. My kids love to make wishes in the fountain and play on the train in the park.

I visited for a food festival. So very disappointed. Vendors tripled prices for just tasting items. Food wasn't good. Would not go to a food festival held here. Parking limited. Marietta police and fire dept. Were available to assust with situations. Very professional. I have visited just to sit in the gazebo or listen to live music. I have eaten at many of the restaurants there and was never disappointed. I’ve gone there on a date night and even was a spectator of several weddings at the gazebo. Enjoyed very much.i have never been disappointed with any of the restaurants that I've dined at. Many small restaurants and you can eat outside and enjoy. It's very quaint. Would recommend for a date night or just to go chill.

Very nice little area to relax and just enjoy the ambience of the area. Plenty of sitting areas, a play area for kids, shops, restaurants, all in walking distance of each other.

Historic Marietta Square is a true gem. A classic center fountain and train playground provides a great setting to spend some time outdoors on a day with nice weather. A lot of variety in shops and restaurants that line the square. Frequent festivals and outdoor events provide plenty of reasons to visit.

This visit was a pleasant surprise. We visited thinking just a quaint little town with lots of shops, etc., but there was a full blown Festival happening! So much to do and see, so many little shops and vendors, live music, eating, browsing, buying, watching or just hanging out. We were traveling from Ohio and had toddlers to teens + our pooch and there was something for everyone. Great job little town of Marietta Square β€πŸ•

Marietta Square is a quaint little park with a gazebo, benches, and a medium water fountain in the middle of the park. It is surrounded by multiple businesses , bars, and restaurants in the heart ❀️ of Marietta.

Super clean, quiet, and cute park. So many friendly and family oriented people strolling around. There was a bubble guy for the kids which was so sweet.

I always have such a great time when visiting Marietta square. So many restaurants and bars that are in walking distance of each other. The square itself is a great place to grab a bench and people watch or read. I visited for Chalktober fest, breakfast, and a book club meeting this week and every time was a different experience. There is a bookstore, magic shop, art studios, boutique shops and places to eat all around the square.

The summer concert series and arts festivals are really enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area to enjoy when there aren’t large gatherings on the square. Traffic can be really hectic on event days and I recommend early arrival or ride share services.

Beautiful small park, day & night. The only downside is not enough parking spots on nice days. Great hangout place for couples and families since it has many interesting stores, galleries.

Fun day to be outdoors. Chalk art was high-end w/artists from all over..Italy, Mexico, Utah, Colorado and more. The bands were terrific. Food available all over. Glad to see more people out this year.

It's literally a small square with a tiny park in the middle surrounded with restaurants and shops. The murals around it are nice (see pictures). There's free 2-hour parking by the park which is nice.

Rather sad to see such a populated area with its main downtown square so stuck in the 90s. Wonder what they do with all the tax revenue. Certainly not city development or beautification.

We love going to the festivals, farmer's market, and shops around Marietta Square. The restaurants are the best part bc they have a wide variety of food choices and most are great! The images are from Chalktoberfest.

My best friend got a marriage proposal on Easter Sunday. She said yes! Everything was perfect except there was some man ranting and yelling his information to everyone. Definitely interesting.. to say the least

A very nice downtown area of Marietta surrounded by unique shops, businesses, and some great restaurants. Plenty of folks in the square enjoying a picnic. Kids were having fun on the model train and splashing in the fountain. Nice central fixture for a sense of community and for meeting up with friends.

I love this place. Been living in Marietta area for about 4 years and I just love coming to the Square. Great food, good music sometimes, good people and just genuinely a great place to spend time with your family and significant others. If you are in the Marietta area, you need to stop by the square!

Loved the art festival they had over Labor Day weekend at Marietta Square. The quality of the artisans were better than I expected. There was very good quality and creative art throughout from many of the vendors.

Conveniently located in one of Marietta’s trendiest areas. Well kept and maintained. Something is always going on, specially on evenings and weekends. Parking can be challenging but there are plenty of public (and paid) parking around the area

Beautiful, friendly place to hang out with lots of families, restaurants, and shops. A wonderful large fountain in the middle that is very scenic and well maintained. The whole square is wheel chair friendly.

Always enjoy the square when I visit! Favorite stop is The Australian bakery for a pie and great coffee. Always stop in the candy store and grab unique goodies for the kids back home. The unique shops are always a treat. Eaten at many of the restaurants and they've never let me down. Pick up dinner at Paul's Pot pies for a delightful dinner you just pop in the oven!

Went to Taste of Marietta today. Lots of people, lots of food, lots of people eating food! There was cultural representation from every ethnic community in both food and people. Everyone was having a great time. Lots of police presence. Lots of music. There are a variety of clothing stores and restaurants on the square and a beautiful park with a large fountain. I assume that it is busy even when it's not the taste of Marietta 😊

Always loved the square. Had a food Booth for years for the juneteenth festival. And I used to like the taste of Marietta until it became too crowded and not inviting at all. Needs to be more than one day and the price for parking is high..never remembered that. Take it back down to the basics. Love the glover park music series Concerts except what's the deal with people putting chairs out at 12 pm for an 8pm concert is not fair to people who work or live far.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This park is AWESOME! Expect it to be busy because of it being so cool, but my little ones had a blast here. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Fantastic dog park. 2 pens for large & small dogs. Shaded areas with picnic tables, high fences, poop bags, and water stations. However, the breed ban is just absurd.
