Wonderful place to go with kids during low tide. I'd say 4-10 age range is probably best but even the adults had fun. Lots of sea creatures to see and a beautiful and scenic sun set really seals the deal

Look at a tide chart before visiting. Low tide provides a very cool tidepooling experience while high tide makes it difficult to navigate or enjoy the space.

Wow what a day. The views. The drive was wonderful. The walk to the water was well worth it . Great place. Fish and Game lady was on it. Lol. Nice to see .

Fun place to wander around and sift through tide pools for critters. Make sure to check the tide table before you go, otherwise everything will be hidden at high tide. Don't make the mistake we did and put "Duxbury Reef" in the GPS. It'll lead you to a cow pasture.

It's definitely pretty. Tide pools are okay. Its just pretty out of the way. Not really worth going to see for itself but if you're nearby, not a bad choice.

As long as people don't smash the Sea Life on the tide pools. Fine. Please bring small bag pick up the plastics. There are public toilets at the top in the parking lot. Please drive slow. There are deer about to give birth meaning baby deer along Elm and Alder. This beach is usually windy. Bring a hooded jacket.

I love it. Free parking and 30 parking spots. Only downside is that it is not a big beach and waves are more calm in comparison to stinson beach. One huge plus I that parking lot was half full and when I tried getting to stinson beach it was 40 cars waiting to get in because parking lot was full

Cute beach for their tide pools.

Very windy and exposed, agates very scarce even at low tide. Overall, it's not my first choice for family day at the beach, beachcombing, sunbathing, picnicking, or rockhounding. Oh, and the agates that we did find? About the size of an uncooked pinto bean and smaller, cloudy to very cloudy and not very interesting.

There was a team of marine biologists walking around and talking to everyone and answering questions. Very cool creatures to look at. Not handicap accessories. One of two beaches around Point Reyes you can fly a drone legally.
