Expensive. The food was not worth the money, though my son enjoyed the fries. We ordered burgers, fries, and onion rings. Everything was extremely oily and my hamburger had canned mushrooms on it. We should have known when there were only two other people in the establishment at 1 p.m. on a Sunday. Clean facilities, wheelchair accessible dining area not over crowded by tables, extremely polite staff. The custard was good, but still too expensive. And the temperature of the dining area was very cold. We chose a booth which was wonderfully large enough to accommodate eating with elbow room. Hoping that this review is a result of the fact that this is still a fairly new restaurant. Not sure that I will be able to let go of another $50 to test this. Update: Freddy's contacted us, apologised for the inconvenience, and sent us two cards with the value of a free meal each. We have yet to use the cards, but kudos for customer service.

The food here is OK, but the Lack of friendly service is probably why I will not return. The restaurant itself is very cute and the food is reasonably price though.

Let me start by saying how much my wife and I used to enjoy Freddy's. We were so excited when this store and the one in Carbondale opened. We attended opening week for both stores and have frequented both during the time they have been open. I can't overstate how much of a decline we've seen in service from both stores. Several weeks ago we ordered two concrete's from the Marion store in the drive through. We sat in the drive through line with the same three cars ahead of us for over 20 minutes. The line hadn't even moved. We had several other errands to run and weren't able to wait in line any longer so we left and went to Culver's (where we received prompt service). Tonight we went and again ordered two concrete's in the drive through. There was only one car ahead of us in the drive through and very few people inside. We sat behind the one car in the drive through for nearly 15 minutes until they got their one bag of food. We paid nearly $13 for two regular concrete's. Besides that the concrete's were a 1/4 full of whipped cream rather than custard. Because of the wait they were half melted by the time we got them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Freddy's over the years, but can't justify paying for the horrendous service any longer.

Best location by far!!! My family and I were greeted by the helpful and friendly staff after entering this establishment. We arrived at the prime of lunch hour and we were served very quickly despite the restaurant being pretty busy at the time. Restaurant was very clean and staff was super friendly. Very different experience from other locations I have visited, very pleased!! Will be recommending this location to anyone and everyone. Hats off to the Marion location staff and management.

Burgers were burnt, too crispy to eat. So thin we had to throw them away. Daughter attempted to eat one out of hunger but only ate the middle. Fries way too salty. More salt on them than potato. Will not visit this place again. 5 items for $44 not worth it.

If I could give the service more than a 10, I would. The food is always fresh and they are always friendly. This has become a must on our trips down to Lake of Egypt. The best Freddy's we have been to.

I came here twice today. Once for custard and once for food. I was waited on by Robert both times. He was clearly high on something. The first time I got custard and I got one tiny strip of marshmallow on it. The second time I got a double cheeseburger that I asked for plain and instead I got mustard onion and pickle on it. Very unhappy with my service and the next time I see him as a cashier I won’t even bother ordering because I already know it won’t be ordered correctly.

Had never been to one of these fast food restaurants before it was delicious, nice staff, clean. Will have to go back next time I am in Marion Illinois.

NASTY! My family ate here while passing through and now we all feel like throwing up. The "burgers" were paper thin and were mostly charred. The cheese was even thicker than the "burgers". Shoestring fries are gross. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice. Culver's and Smashburger are both better for food. I have a stomach ache now.

I was in town from Paducah to shop at target with some friends..and we stopped here for burgers and fries..everything was hot and fresh and we didn't have to wait long.. highly satisfied with everything..tasted great!!..thank you!!..

Eating at this location 8 times food was fresh onion rings fantastic burgers good quality meat and I'm picky the cook is a older bigger man that usually works the grill and he knows how to cook if you can get that man a raise.

Absolutely fantastic food! The French fries couldn't be any better, and even the fry sauce is the best in the business, but as wonderful as the food is, the people working for minimum wage to serve said food couldn't care less. I can't help but imagine that if Freddy himself we're to stroll up in the Marion Freddy's on any given day, he might fire 99% of them, or come to the realization that there is absolutely no incentive whatsoever for anyone who is working for an hourly wage, to give a care about customer satisfaction.

BEST BURGERS!!!!! We decided to stop in and try this place for the first time. The burgers were AWSOME, fresh buns and juicy. The staff was extra nice. We are definitely going to try everything on the menu.

I don't give any fast food five stars, so four stars is it's good as it gets. Loved Freddy's! Can't wait to go back and try their pros and custard!

Their food is super good, but it appears to have the steak house affect where you are only full for lime 1 to 2 hours then your back to being hungry. Though the service is great here, never have had anyone of the working be snotty or anything towards my family. Atmosphere is also awesome reminds me of old timely restaurant feels.

Arrived at 7:50 pm and I waited almost 10 minutes to order my food as the only car in the drive through. Ordered a single bacon cheeseburger meal with 2 sides of cheese. At 8:18, I looked at the clock and realized I’m still waiting for food. With much work, I managed to get the drive through worker’s attention and ask about my food. Now I’m noticing the staff is hanging around talking to each other and she’s not coming back to the window with an update. 8:24 bag of food comes out. Cold burger, half cooked bacon, no cheese sauce but that didn’t matter because my fries were cold too. Had a mediocre experience the prior time and was giving it another chance but I won’t be back. Too much money for Food that the majority of which ends up in trash.

The food was good, but they could have been on top of the cleaning. The tables were dirty and one of the associates was eating as he was serving food.

Food is good. Everything on the menu is deep fried. We mainly go for the frozen treats. Depending on when you go, your order will always be different. No consistency. The tables weren't very clean on the last few visits and utensils were MIA. Bathrooms were acceptable. Parking is horrible here. Very tight parking spaces.

This place has fallen victim to the inflation crisis, For the amount of money you spend, they should be more generous with the portions, or lower their prices or at the very least be honest about their sizes. Almost feels like a scam, I didn't even pay for my food I looked at what they were going to hand me and I told them no thank you and went to Sonic. It's basically the same food for reasonable pricing.

they didn’t give me my gummy worms in my dirt n worms sundae. i am very disappointed in the poor quality in this restaurant . im also so thankful for my friend who got the same thing and gave me one of her gummy words. #hardlife

Caleb a manager there was super helpful! I have a hard time speaking and sometimes people have a hard time understanding me, but he was patient with me. Food was great and he made my service even better than the food. WIll be back

My food was okay, but I have been there before and it has been better. Service was okay as well. This last time I went there was more than just one hair in the food. They did give us a new dish which is good. Then today my friend and I got sundaes and her didn’t get any gummy worms in the dirt n worms sundae. Then my dirt n worms sundaes had very very very little whipped cream.

The food was solid. The condiment area was out of numerous items, there was only one other customer besides us dining in, so everything should have been stocked.

The Marion IL Freddy's does an excellent job! We are frequent flyers at this specific Freddy's restaurant. They are very consistent, keep a clean shop, and have some of the best staff in our area. The crew is friendly and courteous. We'll be back the next time we want cheeseburgers!

We were passing through, so this was our first time here. Their burger was absolutely delicious... Loved it!! And the ice cream is wonderful too!

This is one of the worse places I have eaten at in quite awhile. I am guessing that they were understaffed. I asked for our booth to be wiped down and was told when they got someone free. Needless to say we wet napkins and cleaned our own booth. I noticed after we ordered that in several places on the floor there were french fries laying around. I ordered a patty melt and it was brought with nothing on it. I asked for thousand island dressing and was told that they didn't have it. Pepsi products were the choice of drink but there was no diet mountain dew offered and the ice maker was totally empty. I will never eat here again!

Terrible. rude employees who wouldn't even speak. Asked for fry sauce and he pointed at the bag and slammed the window closed. Was not fry sauce in the bad. Got home and my daughter's grilled cheese was buns stuck together with a half piece of cheese

Food was great but $16 for a small drink that was a kids drink cup and 2 orders of cheese curds way much money for what we got

Even though my double burger was made fresh, the meat was cold and just not very tasty. The restaurant appeared dirty inside, the staff was quite friendly which is the only reason it gets two stars instead of zero

Our Centralia Junior High School cross country team stopped in for dinner after a meet and were greeted and treated great by staff even with our overwhelming amount of kiddos and orders! Highly recommend The food and service!

First time stopping at Freddy's. I got the steakburger. It was amazing!!! Very well cooked and I love the shoestring fries. The service was pretty quick and drink choices were good as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.

1st time to Freddy's. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made suggestions that fit our needs, like a lettuce wrap instead of the bun. Food was OUTSTANDING!! The manager was so nice and gave us a small bowl of custard for our dog that was traveling with us. He even took it, along with a bowl of water, out to the patio to feed her and talk with my wife, while I ordered and got the food. This will DEFINITELY be a stop on our way back through.
