The Buchhorn fountain is artistically very beautifully designed and was designed by the sculptor couple Barbara and Gernot Rumpf. It is in close proximity to the church and town hall. The fountain was inaugurated in 2001 and has since become very popular, especially with children (but also adults), as you can sit on many of the beautiful sculptures and take great pictures. An MTU engine is particularly worth seeing. The theme of the fountain is the interplay between past and present, history and mythology as well as art and technology. So a MUST when visiting Friedrichshafen.

Very nice place for nice photo opportunities in Friedrichshafen not far from the Zeppelin Museum. Definitely even better for the children in the summer. But even “adults who are young at heart” can take funny photos. On Friday you can shop there at the market.

Funny and unusual fountain

During my visit in 2003, this is a nice Little Relaxing and interesting spot during the summer evenings. There are quite a few statues spurting out water which make up for some interesting photography. Also this place is known for the open flea markets usually during the Weekends(friday or saturday) with competitive prices. Overall a nice place for your evening stroll.

A municipal fountain where children are expressly allowed to splash around! Our 7-year-old daughter and we were thrilled with this adventure fountain. Kudos to the city administration! We come from Dresden and here it is not very popular for children to enter a fountain in the summer.
