Ordered takeout here as I was recommended by a colleague. Very authentic and delicious Iranian food. We ordered a royal plate with chicken leg and koobideh. Food was delicious with the exception of the cow and sheep oil, which tasted odd for my taste buds. I would have preferred butter instead. Other than that, this place is great.

The food is absolutely delicious. The quality of the food is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. However, there are big issues with the place. The place is cramped, feels a bit uncomfortable for a nice lunch. The washrooms are something. No toilet paper or proper hand soap!

I tried the bandari sandwich, and chicken sandwich which was very delicious, the kebab bowl was a complete and tasty meal with a delicious rice, the price was reasonable for the size of the food, the employees were polite and kind, a soup or a drink was complimentary with our order. Good luck 🌹 After a year I'm still satisfied with your services and your delicious food.

I tried "Ash reshteh" and The flavors were authentic and comforting. The kebab shows potential, but a bit of fine-tuning could take it to the next level. Additionally, the portion size was generous; I found it wonderfully hearty.

This is a causal restaurant/take-out place, nothing too fancy but they have amazing food! It was our first time visiting here and we were pleasantly greeted by Sarah our waitress. They are fairly quick at preparing the food and started us off with some delicious soup! The meals were presented beautifully and tasted just as good! I loved the copper dishes they used, it gave a nice traditional vibe. We ordered the Soltani Plate, Koobideh Plate, and their famous Kabob Bowl. The dishes are generously large and each came with a nice crispy tahdig which we thought was a nice touch as places rarely do that :) Really delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again!

Had a great time with my wife at this local cozy persian restaurant. Very hospitable with great and positive vibe. All the people working in here were very nice and respectful. Delicious persian food in Iranian Plaza in Ontario Canada.

Great food at Khaki Restaurant, especially the kababs and Persian dishes. However, customer service needs improvement. Enhancing service could make the dining experience outstanding.

It’s a very nice place for Iranian food. Good variety, very delicious food, generous portions, and exceptional service. I highly recommend. I went there today for lunch with my husband and in-laws, we had tahdig with geimeh and ghorma sabzi, various kebabs, and dizi. The tahdig appetizers are must try!

I'm disappointed. I used to come to this restaurant with my family for years however we have relocated and haven't been to this restaurant in so long! The other day I went out of my way and brought a friend with me so we would enjoy dinner together at your restaurant, she's never tried your food and I was excited to bring her here. I was extremely disappointed on how the service has declined. The restaurant is still the same, very small space with not enough room for customer's. 1 hour minimum wait time for your food to arrive. The chicken breast was over cooked and was hard and for the garden salad.. I've mentioned to the employee two different times "Please dont forget to add the salad dressing" she kept insisting it wouldn't be forgotten, even when she handed me the food I asked once more: Is the salad dressing in there? she replied yes. However when I stopped at a red light I quickly checked the food and noticed she did NOT add the salad dressing and I was not happy about the salad, this isn't a garden salad. The food has changed, I wont be returning. It's unfortunate.

Update: After ordering the same items for the second time, we were disappointed to find that the food quality was subpar. As a result, I will be revising my rating to two stars and will not be returning, as the lack of consistent quality is concerning. ————————————————————————— We had a wonderful delivery experience and would highly recommend trying the Koubideh and Chicken Kebabs, along with Kashke-Bademjan and Soup. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was satisfactory. We would definitely consider ordering from them again.

Good Persian fast food in authentic metallic plates. Really large size servings. I am not sure if the restaurant serves food from specific region in Iran, but the veal kebab plate was over saturated with butter. The same was the bottom of the rice pilaf. A bit overpriced for what they serve, but otherwise good food.

New: I promised to change my review if their food gets better. I ordered their kebab and soup. Soup was delicious and kebab was ok. They greased their rice up with butter to add flavour to it and I am personally not a fan so I will only go to four stars. I added two more photos and will still leave my old comment for people to see. Old: Sad to give them such a low rate but my first time delivery experience was not good at all! Surprised because my dine-in experience was the exact opposite. I ordered Tahdig which is supposed to be a CRISPY rice cake served with Persian stews ( Gheymeh, GhormehSabzi, etc.). I ordered two and they both disappointed for several reasons: 1. The Tahdig was soggy amd mushy! One thing you don’t want at all with this specific dish. Simply because they dumped their stew on top instead of delivering in a separate container. That is not how you serve this dish! 2. It was super greasy and thats all I have tasted pretty much 3. The amount of stew on that full container made me wonder if they forgot to add enough or just didnt know the ratio to add to a full meal! I barely tasted any. 4. Gheymeh didnt have any fried or chips in it which is a MUST 5. I wont comment on the presentation as it just got delivered wrong I suggest they put their Tahdig in a separate container with holes on the too so the steam doesnt ruin the crispness and please dont dump the stew on it yourself. This is an experience for the customer to enjoy. I will try again and willing to change my review if they step up and correct their mistake. They started good and I liked their quality so hoping they maintain it

Super tasty persian dishes! I absolutely loved the taste, quality and portions of my order. We ordered Kase-kebab and tahdig with ghormeh-sabzi, both dishes were perfect. But The restaurant atmosphere is not cozy and comfortable for dinning in at all.

My favorite little Persian restaurant from Richmond Hill opened a new brunch in North York, which is amazing! This brunch has a few tables where you can dine in and they also offer some great Persian sandwiches. I didn't see Dizi in this restaurant's menu and I hope they eventually will offer it on the weekend. I ordered Waziri which contains one boneless-skinless chicken leg (or breast, I ordered leg) skewer, and it is marinated with saffron and other herbs for tenderness and succulent taste plus one skewer of ground beef Shish Kabob which is tasty and goes well with special spice called sumag! The service is great and wish them best of luck!

First time trying this place based on a friend's recommendation and I have to say we were so glad we did!! The staff were very friendly, fast, efficient and made great suggestions about the menu. The quality of food was impeccable. We were also given complementary soup with our food which was a fantastic touch. The food was very reasonably priced. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We will definitely stop by again and recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We ordered "Breast Royal Chicken Plate", "Tahdig Gheime", and "Tahdig Ghorme" through UberEats. The order was received too late, as the weather condition was not normal (snow storm). So the food was cold, and Tahdig had been soft (not crispy). I know that it was not Khaki's fault. The stews (Gheime and Ghorme Sabzi) were acceptable, but you can find better chicken breast kebabs in other persian restaurants in terms of marinade and quality.

I had an incredible dining experience at Khaki restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host and seated promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The menu had a great variety of options and everything we ordered was delicious. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. To top it off, the soup was out of this world! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to come back!

As a fan of Fesenjan, I received a recommendation from my friend to try it at this restaurant. The highlight of my meal was the delightful and crispy "Tahdig”. However, I noticed that although the staff were wearing gloves, none of them were using hair meshes or beard covers, which raised concerns. Unfortunately, I found a piece of hair in my food, but I chose not to inform the employees because of my friend's loyalty to the restaurant. While my friends were satisfied with the food quality, my personal experience led me to give a score of 3 out of 5 for taste and only 1.5 out of 5 for hygiene.

We got takeout and were not disappointed. Khaki has gained popularity amongst the Persian community and I can see why. I’m actually hooked. Amazing texture from the tenderness to the juiciness.

Delicious iranian kebabs with a large portion coming with soup. The staff are polite and helpful and the restaurant in clean. The service was fast. Koobideh was juicy and authentic in terms of taste. The rice was a little bit too greasy for me. I’d rather have the option of choosing to have it greasy or not but overall I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for late dinner. They cover an ample selection of dishes so it’s suitable for a variety of tastes. I will definitely visit again.

Great food, polite and friendly staff ,who kindly served the food, although it was too late (11:40 pm). Koobide was just fantastic, served in lovely traditional plates. I highly recommend this place.
