Good store overall. Five stars to their friendly and helpful staff. Just don't buy batteries, headphones, usb cables or anything electronics in this store. They charge extra 40 cents on a $1.50 item. They call it EPRA/Recycle fee. Mandatory Eco fees were scrapped in Ontario since 2019. They are not mandatory now and it is all up to business owner to decide how much they want to charge, 1 cent or $100, or charge anything at all and how they would use this money. They don't collect old batteries or electronic scrap, they charge you 26% extra for doing nothing.

Rude cashier. He just punched out the invoice and threw it on the table. As soon as he threw the invoice he called out for the next customer. I had to hurry to quickly grab my purchases because next in line was standing on my shoulder. No patience! No courtesy!

Went last night in the storm about 8 mins to close to the get 3 helium balloons for my niece birthday party the next day.. I knew something was wrong when she filled the balloon to the max, and then the strings began to rip. By the next morning one was flat... never again.

Good but was disappointed for their Sunday hours which said 9pm and I came all the way but was closed

Prices ate better than Dollarama in many cases. But some items the quality is not as good. E-circuit batteries, holiday ornaments, funnel, were all good value.

Love the staff here. So much stuff. Walked out with so many goodies. Bye bye dollerama 🤣

I bought a couple of things there and found the quality disgustingly low of the articles I picked up. It was even much worse than Dollarama. It's much cheaper than Dollarama in some articles but you get what you pay for. I bot what looked like similar to brillo pads for cleaning, opened them up, box was so cheap it fell apart, but the smell was so disgusting I almost had an asthma attack. You decide whether it's worth it or not.

Karim is a great store manager. He really went the extra mile stayed open later to cash us out and checked stock in the back room thoroughly for us

This store had a cash machine malfunction and requested I tap twice. Now they are refusing a refund.

I was very excited when this dollar tree opened as before this, I used to drive all the way to Aurora for my dollar store needs. Despite this dollar tree being less than 5 minutes from my home, I will not be coming back. A friend of mine mentioned they had discounted some Christmas items so I stopped by a few days ago. I asked one of the staff members to confirm the price of one of the items. She refused to look at me and replied in a condescending manner “everything is $1.50”. So I asked her to look at the items I was holding and she ignored me and continued whatever task she was doing. I continued shopping and then she came back a few minutes later to say “maybe the Christmas items are discounted”. The attitude of the staff was extremely disrespectful and rude. I spoke with the manager, which only confirmed that this attitude trickles from the top down and is a store-wide problem. I will not be returning and nothing justifies this type of behaviour such as ignoring your customers when they ask a direct question.
