I had their tuna tartar and 10 oz prime rib with mashed potatoes. The food was really great. I strongly recommend the whiskey pepper sauce as an accompaniment to the steak (trust me and thank me later.) Even the generously-sized complimentary loaf of bread was wonderfully fresh. I also tried their martini and whiskey sour cocktails, both were perfect. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Special thanks to Elisia for her impeccable service.

Fantastic experience. I have been to many Keg locations around the GTA and this is easily the best one in terms of food and atmosphere. The food was great. Steak was cooked perfectly, shrimp was succulent and the fries were hot and fresh. Calamari, house salad and bread were all fantastic as well. Server was very attentive and polite. While the majority of Keg restaurants showcase a modern, chic and jazzy atmosphere, this location prides itself in its history and old school architecture. Overall, a great experience and will definitely visit again.

Been to lot of Keg’s over the years, but this place is very special. Since it’s inside a classic mansion, atmosphere here is very unique. Love the ecstatic and the decorations. Because of it’s popularity I would advice get a reservation ahead of time or else you might have to wait awhile for the table. When we arrived for our dinner reservation, parking lot was packed but luckily we got a parking spot, when we went inside we got seated right away, we ordered mushroom Neptune for appetizer and I highly recommend as it taste really unique and amazing. For the entree we ordered top sirloin and the massive rib steak. Top sirloin was properly seasoned and cooked perfectly to medium rare. Definitely worth it! Rib steak on the other hand didn’t taste as good and there is a massive bone in the middle so meat quantity isn’t that much, and for the price it definitely don’t worth it. Also our server was really friendly and we enjoyed our time here.

It has a free parking that can be a plus point. The decoration is cool and staff are warm welcoming. We really enjoy having dinner in the mansion. Regarding the foods, all steaks and ribs are perfect. We also tried red and white sangaria that had sterling taste. After dinning, we drank Midnight Manhattan whiskey. It was really tasty and aromatic.

I love The Keg and this is my favorite Keg location; located in a HAUNTED mansion! There’s private parking available in front and back of the restaurant and it’s free for KEG customers after 5pm. Reservations are highly recommended specially during the holidays. The bar is located in the second floor, so if you want to sut close to the bar, make sure to mention that. Or, if you want to be closer to the ghost that resides in the mansion lol. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Ethan was very helpful and he even told us stories about the ghost that lives in the mansion. We were offered the signature Keg loaf of bread with cream (choice of regular or cheese). We ordered Fried Calamari for appetizer and Prime Rib (14oz, rare) and New York Striploin (12oz, medium) for main course (You can choose a side with each entrée). And paired our steak with red wine. The steaks were cooked to our liking and were really delicious (NY Striploin could’ve been less salty). Although we were very full after our main coures, but we couldn’t leave without trying their amazing dessert. So, we ordered Billy Miner Pie and enjoyed every bite of it.

My husband and I went for our 5 year anniversary. Pros: - our server was very attentive and friendly - steaks were cooked how we ordered them and flavour was on point - drinks were really good! - baked shrimp appetizer was beyond expectations Cons: - all customers are crammed into one corner of the room when there are many empty tables within eye sight - veggies are nothing special and small portions for the price of the meal - we booked the reservation stating we were celebrating an anniversary and it was never acknowledged nor did we get anything on the house

Really nice atmosphere and service. Came for a friends birthday celebration and it was busy on a Saturday evening in January. I ordered the Oscar which was a nice combination of meat and seafood. The server was very friendly and professional. There's free parking but the lot was full.

I have visited The Keg Mansion in the past and I am sorry to say this last experience was underwhelming. I booked this reservation weeks in advance and was so excited. This was the also the first time my sister would visit the Mansion. The customer service good. Our server was attentive, funny and kind. Thank you Elisia!!!! The food was meh compared to other The Keg locations I've visited. My sister's steak was the smallest 6oz steak I've ever seen. There were no issues with my Rib Steak however we both agreed veggies were raw and unseasoned. The wine and dessert were amazing....no complaints there. I was highly disappointed in the service staff as we waited in the lobby for our ride once dinner was over. The lack of professionalism was shocking from them hanging off each other (no social distancing) the topic of their conversation was enough that we waited outside for our ride. Even upon exiting the building we were not acknowledged by the concierge; the 2 security personnel did. They also greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Based on this last visit, I wouldn't recommend The Keg Mansion to a friend.

I took my friend here for her birthday; it was an amazing atmosphere. The castle gave a luxurious feel, we had a reservation for 8pm but we were 15 minutes early and thought we had to wait, instead we were seated right away. The server was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. We weren't sure which steak to have but with the server's guidance we had a very tender steak. The entire meal was divine. My friend was treated to an ice cake with a lit candle for her birthday. The cost for the food was reasonable. I highly recommend here for any celebration.

Great service throughout our visit. What an amazing place with free parking which is seldom available among the restaurants in the downtown area. Decided to give the steak and lobster a try. It’s pricey but it’s worth the price. Will visit again.

Keg Mansion is the Super Saiyan of Kegs; all the familiarities of The Keg, just elevated. The main difference is obviously the Mansion. Take some time to explore the house, it’s a beautiful mid-1800s home which is slice of Toronto’s historic Upper Jarvis neighbourhood. Ask your waiter any details if you’re curious; they are not just experts on the menu (of which they are very helpful if needed), they are also very knowledgeable on this historic venue! The steaks are consistently great no matter the cut. I wouldn’t say it’s the best you’ve ever had, but great nonetheless. If you’ve been to other Keg’s, you know the apps are just as great (recommend the mushroom Neptune). A huge plus is that the cocktails are very reasonably priced, and well done. Overall, the Keg Mansion is an enhanced Keg experience that is well worthwhile.

Went here on Jan 1st to celebrate a birthday and had an amazing time. To start our waitress (Mary Ann or Mary Beth) was very friendly and accommodating. Secondly, appetizers (cauliflower bites & calamari with shrimp) were amazing, the bread was so good cause the butter was so yummy and the main courses (2 steaks) and ribs were perfect as well. We did have a bit of a problem with our steaks but everything was rectified really quickly. Will definitely be back again because of the exceptional customer service!

The atmosphere was great , the service was good .I had the steak and lobster With broccoli and beats. The beats was excellent the broccoli seemed half cooked The lobster was mushy over cooked. The 8 oz. Steak i asked for medium it was served medium and burnt on one side so I cut that part off. The ice cream cake for desert was good. Not a good food experience I will not be back. Held a work dinner here and it was great start to finish. The building is unique and impressive . Definitely a nice photo op. The service was super attentive and provided lots of tips on what to order as well as patience with a large group. We had many appetizers, different mains and desert but the highlights were the prime rib , lobster , garlic shrimp and billy miner pie . Yum !

The mansion is a really cool atmosphere with a few different dining rooms and plenty of staff to go around. The staff are all very friendly and make for an even better experience. On this particular visit, the only frustrating part was that first they tried to sit us in the back corner in a really tight booth and then at a table in the highest traffic location right in front of the kitchen exit. Normally I don’t say anything or ask to move but this time it just seemed silly not to. We had the oyster special which was really nice. Hot spinach and cheese baked oyster. Cool spin on the dish. The shrimp and calamari also very good and the rib steaks we had were cooked about as perfectly as it gets. Fat was nice and rendered and the flavour was great. Our waiter also recommended a couple really nice bottles of wine. I will say in the past I’ve had some mixed experiences but over the last five years all my experiences here have been rather great! If you’ve made it this far then you should also be let in on a littler secret menu item. You must ask for the three cheese butter/sauce. It’s a fantastic garlic cheese butter that’s excellent on the potatoes, sourdough, steak, everything!

Had a 5pm reservation and it wasn't busy. Had the 6 oz top sirloin steak, a baked potato with sour cream and caesar salad. Good service. Food was delicious and place was awesome. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend coming here. 👍

We celebrated our 11th anniversary and decided to go to The Keg Mansion. Hands down the best meal that I've had the service was impeccable the staff was polite and courteous. The food was hot and got exactly what we ordered highly recommend this restaurant for a special date or outing.

Good food, customer service, and atmosphere. Really loved the sauce for shrimp at Steak Oscar! Rib steak is good always as we have tried somewhere else. Fresh vegetables are also juicy and tasty! Had tuna tartare for starters, coming with chips, crispy and rich. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Overall an excellent dining experience. Oh one thing not perfect was the parking lot. It was packed and pretty hard to get one spot.

Great bar area. Food is the standard really good Keg quality & always consistent. I’ve never had any issues in the dozens of times I’ve been here. Service has been excellent all the time as well. Bonus points for possibly being haunted. Especially the bathrooms.

This is my second time here, and although the first experience was great the second time was even better. First off, our waiter Ethan was amazing. He definitely went above and beyond and made our whole night amazing. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 4 years together and Ethan helped it end on a great note. Another shoutout I would like to give are two of the managers, never got their names but they were these two lovey ladies. I have an allergy to majority of nuts and I’m not anaphylactic but if I do have nuts my tongue does get very itchy. Both ladies came over and tripled checked that we were okay with the food - there were no nuts in the things we ordered but there is a chance of them coming in contact. They didn’t have to do this in my opinion because when most restaurants ask about allergies they don’t check up on you or notify you about and contact with other foods. I really appreciated this. Second, the food is always on point. I always get the fillet mignon and my boyfriend always gets the strip loin whenever we go to the keg. However, everything at this location seemed to be 10x better. My boyfriend and I literally could not get over how great the food was. It’s not on the listing but I would HIGHLY recommended the lobster bisque. I had it the first time I came to this location and fell in love. (First photo attached). Finally, my boyfriend and I were full and we didn’t plan on ordering a dessert but Ethan was so kind and went out of his was to get us a crème brûlée (my favourite dessert) to end off our night. It was on the house and we couldn’t be more thankful for him. 1000000% will come back to this location!

Went here for my husband's birthday on September 24th! Food was amazing and as expected. We received a complimentary dessert for his birthday and the restaurant itself was beautiful and historic. It was very busy the night we went so service was slower than usual, but it's to be expected for the location. The food didn't disappoint and was on-par for the regular Keg experience.

I’ve never posted a bad review for a Keg steakhouse..and I am not about to start! I Loved this one! The food was great, the ambiance was super chill, the staff was friendly, the decor was really nice, and there were tv at the bar to watch football (which was not expected) The steak Was great(as always), the crème brûlée was delicious as well.. And the mojito was a nice addition !

Really had a great dinner w my lady. The steak was very good, though a proper heated plate, ya. A place like this should have plates that are not only heated but made to retain the heat. Otherwise we be had lovely dinner, a really nice server. I’d ordered a bourbon n coke. The coke was flat, returned and served another flat coke. Luckily I enjoy bourbon on the rocks. We had bone marrow as an appetiser, so good. This is one of my favourite places to eat for atmosphere. This Mansion is beautiful. Each room different and spectacular.

Wow. Incredibly underwhelming and disappointing! It was my first time at this location and I had high expectations. Our appetizer was cold, as if it was left unattended and forgotten about in the kitchen. Steak was ok, I’ve had better. And the sides (rice, broccoli and beets) were completely dry and not edible. Sooo upsetting and a waste of $160 dollars. The server didn’t even ask how our meal was. Would never come back here ever again.

Amazing food as to expect. The last time I had the Keg was during the pandemic when I ordered take-out. The quality of the food is top tier. The steak was buttery smooth and cooked to perfection. The parmesan onion rings were as delicious as they sounded. It's definitely worth the try.

Thanks to Lindsay for her excellent and professional level of service to our group of diners. She understands and appreciates the concept of customer service. Of course, the restaurant has a great atmosphere. No elevator for physically challenged people, which is unfortunate, but plenty of first floor dining space. I had the Vegan Meatloaf which I do NOT recommend - mushy and too spicy - does not taste like the meatloaf your mother made out of Sunday dinner leftovers, except for the tomato sauce on top. However, I would recommend the other entrees. Definitely worth a visit - have fun!

Amazing impeccable service, the lady who was our server was without a doubt amazing. She served well and also gave us a good tourist experience with the added tour guide tell us the must go to spots. We made a reservation for The Keg Mansion to celebrate our anniversary, which also coincides with Valentine’s Day. From the outside, the mansion has a an amazing curb side appeal. Beautiful classic architecture! As you enter, you will notice the interior is also unique in it’s century home decor. We were seated upstairs, in a sort of parlour room with several other guests. To note, if you don’t like dining with families make a later reservation as it is not private seating. Our server, Danika, was also very friendly, attentive, and when we asked about the history of the mansion, she gave us some good information. The most special part, she brought over a memoir of ghost sightings which we were able to read while we waited for our mains to be served. We ordered the escargot and the Valentines special which included filet mignon and lobster tail. The food came out quickly, was perfectly seasoned, and cooked just as we like. You’ll have to trust that the lack of photos is a sign of how tasty everything was! 😋 PROS: Unique architecture, great service, delicious food, and providing the memoir of ghost stories was extra special. CONS: Seating is very open so if you’re celebrating a special occasion be aware that you might be seated with families and guests who dress down for dinner. It’s minor but does take away from the upscale vibe somewhat so I took half a star. I would give this place 4.5 stars overall and would highly recommend!

Went out for our fifth anniversary and it was such a great experience at the mansion! This was our first time visiting The Keg Mansion, and I’ve got to say, it’s such a beautiful home with so much history behind it. This was also our first time trying escargot; quite an experience that we won’t forget! Only downside is that parking is pretty tight on the premises. The entire evening was magical and every bite was delicious! Do try your steak Chicago style, the char brings out so much goodness.

It has happened a lot that steak comes with a different cook level than the order, the server and his manager both acted really well and decreased the bill amount. But!!! The food was not tasty as I expected. Lobster, and shrimp were tasteless. Steak was okay. I was kind of disappointed by food. The place vibe is really sad. Will definitely test other Keg restaurants but not this. Rosé sangria was great.

I recently visited Keg Mansion Restaurant for my anniversary dinner, and it was an unforgettable experience. In the course of the 10years that we’ve coming here this has become a staples n go to for a great Sangria n one of the Best Steaks in the city. This was our first time at this location. We found our waiter Michael to be excellent! Both friendly and attentive. Our Burger and Blackened Chicken entree’s were delicious, unfortunately the seasonal veg was undercooked.

Pretty good dining experience, nothing that special though since its still a chain restaurant. Drinks were pretty good especially when its 12$ for a double, also was able to get some frozen margaritas which were prettttyy tasty! Steaks were good and so were the sides but the icecream cake was the best part of the meal
