Absolutely amazing place and great staff. Not too many cinemas could be that comfortable for family and kids. Very appreciate of variety of movies and respect to the Canadian law of freedom of choice. Can not say it about some Ukrainian people who came to Canada but have zero respect to our country and our law. For all the haters: I will respect all people from all the world as well as I respect they believes, they orientation and they choice. Canada welcomes everyone who obeys law.

Imagine Cinemas offers the same big screen showings at a smaller independent venue. This theatre has been around and the most unique aspect is its comfortable recliner seats. Be sure to reserve & sit near the front rows for the big screen experience. The theatre visitors are sparse and tickets can be ordered online ahead of time, before pickup at the gates. The screen is bright although it has a slight reflection during bright scenes. We do enjoy the convenience of coming to this theatre.

I recently went to Imagine Cinemas at Elgin Mills to drop off some posters and met with their manager, Kermit. The theatre was so clean and the staff was so friendly. Kermit went above and beyond to provide amazing customer support - we exchanged business cards and he reassured me if there was anything they could do, all I had to do was call. A+ customer service from the whole Imagine Cinemas team … what an incredible experience (and those luxury seats are no joke, it’s like watching the movie from a cloud - a really comfortable seat on Cloud 9!). 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 10 stars!

This movie theatre has been out family favorite for many years. Very comfortable seats, excellent staff and always a great service at the food counter. We especially appreciate the theatre's policy that allows us to see high quality movies from different countries. Diversity is our strength.

The theater itself is nice and comfy chairs, good clear view. Good leather, and recliner chair. Three together is kinda weird if someone books. Entrance is dirty and not clean though. They spent their Money on the experience and not the fluff

Love the theatre, but having a path of Excorsim posters on opening night for Paw Patrol is NOT what my 3 year old was prepared for. He's screaming and refuses to go in now. Marketing team should be fired, especially for putting Paw Patrol at the end of the hall, with these posters at the front, should have been reversed to save these kids the trauma.

Small theatre, with 10 cinemas. The reclining chairs are so comfortable and such a plus for the price you are paying for the movies. Concessions aren't ridiculously priced. Overall a great experience to bring family and friends for a movie. Even better on Tuesdays when they have $9 tickets!

I am so glad that there are old theaters upgrading themselves and still staying open this is much better alternative to the larger chain cinemas. The service is absolutely amazing at this theater the popcorn taste incredible the prices are very inexpensive I may speak for themselves. these theaters have lazy boy type recliners so you can watch a movie in absolute comfort with your feet up. There is a large parking lot available here and the facilities inside or absolutely spotless I've never seen a public place cleaner than this theater. I highly recommend you stop going to the larger chain cinemas and start coming to the imagine cinemas you will absolutely thank me for doing so

This is my husband and I's favourite movie spot. The VIP cinema lets you choose your seats and it was how we found out a movie that we wanted to see had very little viewers and we felt safe enough to go. We've moved kind of far from here but we still try to come here when we can.

A comfy small movie theatre with ten cinema screens. These very comfortable slouching chairs are such a plus for the price that we are paying. Widespread, it was a significant venture to bring family and friends for a movie. They have $9 tickets on Tuesdays.

Had the privilege of screening a movie here and this team went above and beyond. Coordination between head office and the location could definitely improve but once that was sorted out, the on-site managers and staff are what brought this review from 4 ⭐️ to 5. Stefan was understanding, and flexible πŸ™πŸ˜©πŸ™ David was accommodating, and fun to chat with as a fellow film maker! πŸŽ₯ 🍿🀩 Kermit was especially helpful, always ready, and welcomed us at any time of day (or night), even showing up on his day off to help out! That’s customer service right there πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ The venue is spacious and gorgeous inside the theatres. Reclining comfortable seats, surround sound, honestly feels like VIP treatment but with regular ticket cost. What a steal!

We went to see Migration on December 26 and the cinema was not that busy. On Tuesdays they have discount tickets for $9. The chairs are really comfortable and recliners. The screen quality is not the best for me but my kids don't care and they actually enjoy. They have popcorn, candy and drinks and etc.

For the price this place is amazing. Fully reclining luxury seats that I can curl up in with room for people to walk past. The screen is not as huge as regulars ones but the whole room is scaled smaller so it works. Washrooms are clean. Easy online ticket purchase with seat preselection so no need to show up early. The concession stand is basic.

Prices are more manageable than Cineplex, though the screens are much smaller. Seats are comfy, views are okay. Excellent accessibility, as once you're down the elevator every seat is on the same level. Lovely little place for a Tuesday matinee.

We've lived in the area for quite some time and tried this cinema only a couple of times, till lately. Ever since we have rediscovered this cinema, we've kept coming back here with the kids. We love the reclining seats, the cost of the tickets and food doesn't break the bank, and it's much closer to us than going to our local over crowded Cineplex! The only thing that can be improved upon is the cleanliness - the garbage bins that are left out after a show overflow very fast and there's garbage everywhere. Washrooms were not very clean either with no soap. We had watched the last show of the day and it seemed that there were no employees around. Aside from this, there are no other complaints. Will keep coming back here!

I love this damn theatre so much. It's small but it's so so clean and the seating is amazing. Add in the fact it's also cheap, makes it five stars for me. I've moved farther away and this theatre is one of the things I missed the most about Richmond Hill. I do however try my best to come back here to watch movies

Absolutely awesome theatre. Chairs are incredibly comfy and I really appreciate that we can reserve our seat (although I wasn't quite sure why we couldn't grab row A online– not a big deal). I also appreciated that we could just scan our QR code and the machine just printed our tickets without any interaction or touching of the screen. Prices are extremely reasonable. All staff are very friendly and seem to genuinely want to be there. The theatre itself is probably the cleanest theatre we've ever been to. Absolutely spotless, and the seats looked like they were installed today. The screen was crystal clear and high quality, and the sound system was great! Popcorn was great and candy selection was decent. Reasonable pricing at the concession stand too. Very well managed theatre!

This is our go to place to watch movies and usually we love this theatre. It has comfortable reclining seats and it’s quiet without crowds. Yesterday we were the only ones in the whole theatre. It was awesome. However, once the movie finished, I stood up and dropped my phone. That’s when I saw the disgusting mess under the seats. Piles and piles of popcorn, candy and garbage. So grossed out. Then upon leaving, I went to use the bathroom and was equally grossed out. Not going back to watch a movie there again. Ever.

Recliners are comfortable, great experience. Only reason it's not a five star review is because the screens need a cleaning. Looks like someone threw soda all over the screen during a viewing of wakanda forever. Very distracting :(

Very bad the screen in theatre no 2 has a bad patch in the middle very visible yet they cannot fix it from so many years. I couldn't even enjoy the movie as it was very visible in bright scenes. I went in the other theatre room next to it and it had the same bad patch. The good part is the nice comfy recliner sofas.

I love how you get a comfy experience to watch the movie. Going to other movie theatres, you have to pay double for β€œcomfy seats” that are actually terrible. Imagine has the best value. Sound and picture quality is great too. I refuse other cinemas.

Underrated theatre truly. It is a much smaller scale compared to Cineplex and their seats are so much more comfortable! They have reclining seats and it’s super roomy. I would definitely recommend coming here to watch movies as you don’t have to be seated super close to a stranger and the fact that their tickets are slightly cheaper. However, I do have to say that their screen is a bit smaller so if you want to be fully immerse into the movie I would still suggest going to Cineplex.

For a Movie theater that has been around for a while it's always a pleasure going and able to get a nice seat on these fantastic comfy chairs that allow you to kick your feet up while you watch a movie. An absolute VIP amenitie without the VIP price. Highly recommend. Just watch out as they are understaffed and popcorn line can take 10-15mins!

I came last night to see a new film there. I like comfortable wide seats which we can put our feet up and relax during watching film. Parking is easy to find. Not very crowded. Good experience at all.

Best cinema for the money. Recliner seats, cheaper tickets and snacks than cineplex. The perfect place to come with kids. The only issue at times is mobile ticket printing machines at the top are often broken, but it doesn’t matter, just show the guy your tickets as you go to the theatres.

  • 4/5 Sandia W. 1 year ago on Google
We love the ease of booking our seats ahead of time. Love the recliners. Some theaters have smaller screens, so if that's important to you, be sure to choose the larger theaters when you book. Minimal food options but good popcorn, candy, and drinks (fountain pop, slushies & bottles of water and juices).

  • 3/5 Ollie C. 9 months ago on Google
Inexpensive ticket but outdated cinema. Recliner seats are saggy. Washrooms are not clean. Easy to purchase tickets. Large popcorn is $8.5 but they don’t offer small paper bags for sharing.

The quality of the screen/project leaves something to be desired but the seating is extremely comfortable since the latest renovation, and the vibe is always good. This is my go-to theatre in Richmond Hill and has been for more than a decade.

Reclining chairs make the whole overall experience so much more comfier and cozy! Love coming here especially since it's more low key and less busy.

Great seats! As someone with long legs, I sometimes find it hard to sit still at Cineplex Theaters but the reclining seats here were a breath of fresh air. As for popcorn, its just theater popcorn, nothing much to say. Prices match Cineplex's, so I would definitely come back for comfortability.

This review is for their top-notch customer service. Their Administrative Manager KAL was very communicative and resolved a technology related billing issue relating to our online ticket purchase. Thank you again and a shining example of Customer Service done right!

Went to watch a movie last night and the line up was very long due to the fact that they only accept the proof of vaccination that's a pdf and not the green screen one with a bar one that makes everyone's life easy, the reason was " we don't have a scanner " I think they should mention the accepted forms of vaccination passport and not make people wait at the door for so long. Unless this changes in the future I think choosing another theater would be the choice of many people I saw at the door waiting the way I did.

Awesome place for watching movies. Very relaxing spot with the reclining chairs that feel like you are in your own home theatre. Compared to cineplex this place is ahead of it’s time! However sound quality isn’t as good as cineplex and it is sometimes annoying when they don’t fully turn off the lights (they dim it down). Nonetheless way better than cineplex for sure

The seats are nice but that's about it. The customer service isn't very good. We bought popcorn, drinks, nachos and my wife wanted ice because she was craving it. We were told we had to pay $5 for a cup to get ice. After going back and forth they gave us 4 small ice cubes in this tiny cup. They wouldn't even let us bring our own cup for ice. I understand that they make money through food and drinks but I found that so unreasonable. We ended up paying the $5 for some ice. They made an extra $5 but lost 2 returning customers.

Been coming here for years and overall had great experience. The sound and video quality is not the same as Cineplex. The recliner seats are nice. The interior decor has aged, a bit of renovation will definately make this place look nice.

was there recently October 2021 during pandemic, be prepared to show your vaccination proof. Really enjoyed it, they have you social distance in the movie, your infront of you, and back and sides there's a couple seats.

Amazing experience! There was an issue with purchasing the tickets online. The site crashed and I had no ticket confirmation. Head office was amazing and speedy at responding to my inquiry. Super friendly, super organized. Thanks Imagine!

This theatre has the most comfortable seats and the staff are very friendly. Except when i recently watched 007 in the theater #1, i noticed the screen material was very worn out and throughout the whole movie that's all i could see especially in the middle part. If they could fix that i will give 5 stars.

I had the pleasure of attending the Imagine Cinema to see the 12:30pm show time of Downton Abbey The New Era. I love this particular cinema because of the location and the pleasant experience of watching a movie in such comfort only enhances the experience. Oh, and the movie was great!

  • 5/5 S Z. 9 months ago on Google
Great cinema, comfy seats and the seats are very comfortable! The staff is also very responsive and will shut disturbing movie watchers for the rest of the people to enjoy the movie!! All in all, good movie theatre to go to

Its a good setup the chairs are very nice. I wish they kept the arcade instead of the party room it had lots of unique games and they are a childhood memory.

  • 5/5 S S. 1 year ago on Google
Super comfortable recliner seats, cheaper food, and a clean theatre. Wish they had more food + candy options, but grabbing dinner before a movie in this area is an easy solution. The real gem was the taller gentleman with glasses working tonight (July 18) . Not only did he do a fantastic job, but he went above and beyond to return a forgotten purse after the movie. Staff like him really make a difference. Thank you!

  • 4/5 David H. 1 year ago on Google
Very comfy seats that you can electronically adjust. The only improvements I'd recommend is more food options. If you can't bring in food, hard to just eat pop corn and nachos for dinner. I'd at least setup a grill and pizzas

I've been coming to this theatre for years over the bigger chains. Welcoming staff, huge comfy seats, decent facilities that are kept clean. Ticket prices are more than fair as well. Thank you to the staff these days for adhering to public guidelines as well. I felt comfortable and safe returning to see movies on the silver screen

Movie theatre is located in a convenient location in Richmond Hill. There is restaurants nearby and located in a neighborhood. To purchase tickets you need to buy them online then go to the kiosk to print the tickets. The movie quality is good however the recliner seats are not in a levelled arena. The seats are all on one floor, unlike landmark cinema the recliner seats are levelled. It makes it hard to watch the movie as you have to tilt your head up. The seats don’t have love seats to cuddle with. The popcorn layered with butter tastes good. Washrooms are clean. Overall, a nice movie theatre in a retro fashion with nice comfortable reclining seats.

  • 5/5 Amit B. 1 year ago on Google
Great seats, some of the best reclining seats even for general ticket. Superb audio and screen resolution. Post covid, my fav theater chain.

  • 5/5 Cecilia Y. 1 year ago on Google
The absolute best cinema out there. It's so comfy I could fall asleep in the chairs. I hope they never go out of business and can continue to keep up this place. So much better than cineplex.

Nice and comfortable seats but place is a bit dirty outside and inside.

  • 2/5 Xiong Z. 1 year ago on Google
Technical problems meant the movie started 20 minutes late, and we had to move to a different theatre. The screen had weird and distracting splotches. They promised voucher for the delay that never came. Comfy seats.
