    The friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff leave a good impression when you are visiting the store. Holistic approach towards the dog food is very much appreciated, and a large selection of food, toys, treats and clothes. This place appears to be small on the outside, but it's very methodically layed out. There are a few samples of variety of foods you can try, and staff always seem to be connecting on a personal level with every customer and try to explain everything in detail. The prices are reasonable and you get what you pay for here.

    I had thought that this was a great place for its selection of foods, treats, and toys, as well as samples given, but I will never come to this store again due to the owner. I handed my purchase to the owner after she offered to call the company for me as to whether they accept this refund because it wasn't the right size for my pet. She asked me to check back in five days. I visited on the fifth day, and the owner said oh sorry, they won't take the refund so she gave the item away to another dog. She did not ask for my permission to give away my $30 worth of purchase, and she offered instead a coupon that would take a maximum of $5 off my next kibble purchase. She acted like she was correct to do so, and that I was to blame for having to refund in the first place in this entire exchange. This was a very unreasonable interaction, and I can't trust someone that would do business this way.

    I am a regular costumer and never had problem dealing with the owner till today that daughter of owner was in the shop. I brought 3 cans that i bought previously, left on counter and told her that i need to exchange and continued to pick my new items. She asked if i have kept the receipt and i replied that i don’t but items should be on shops system. She continued with unfriendly tone and loud voice, saying “ I’m just asking!” When i was already at the aisle. I picked my new items and came back to pay. she checked the system and confirmed per the policy i cant return items that were bought more than 30 days ago. I said “thats fine, i will deal with your mom later since she knows me and items are not expired. “ She interrupted me with a louder voice saying that she has to follow the policy.. i replied again that “i will deal with her mom later” and asked her to stay calm, not cut me and not talk aggressive. She started making a show, asking other customers to get involved and .. Pet shops are at every corner and this is not the closet to me or the biggest one around Its the customer service and relation with owners that make you return to the shop to give business. She broke the relation today. I will not return to this shop Updates: Your below reply is not accurate! You called customers to get involved although i told you that returning the item is Not the issue, your bad attitude IS the issue. A quick look at reviews shows how many people had issues with bad costumer service and attitude in this shop. And i would say its all you, cause i haven’t seen that from your mother in last year.

    Seemed to have a food viraty of products but they were keeping 40 lb bags of litter on the top shelf which made me really concerned. One of the workers also made some uncomfortable comments about my dog who gets nervous inside of buildings, saying how I should take her places more and how sorry she was for her? I love my dog and she's fine she just doesn't want to great every person she meets. I also couldn't find the prices for most of the food toppers which was confusing.

    Our cat passed away last week. Among the remaining items were two unopened bags of dry food, two unopened bags of cat litter, and some canned snacks. Because the dry food and cat litter were bought at this store two months ago on Pomo day, there was a receipt, but the purchase record was not added to our account because the lady owner said she was busy. When we contacted the lady owner, she said: the food has exceeded 30 days from the date of purchase, although the expiration date is 2024, and the bag has not been opened, it cannot be returned, so we should contact the manufacturer. The unopened cat litter can be returned for store credit, even if we don't use the credit afterwards. Finally, we went to other locations, they found the past records in our account and refunded all of them to our credit card, even though the products were exceeded the 30-day refund limit and we didn't buy from their locations. This included all of the items we bought at 1070 Major Mackenzie Dr.

    This is my go to place for all my dogs needs from toys to food to treats. Their pet toys are of great quality and will definetly last a while. The staff is very informative and friendly and always have your pets intrest at heart. They also always have great advice on training your pet and are very happy to help with any issue you might have.

    Today I went into this Global Pet foods as this is the only franchise I shop at for my two cats; I feed them nothing less than the most premium pet foods I can source (Fromm is the brand I choose and to my knowledge can only be sourced at this franchise; it’s also the brand the owner Eva chose to feed her cats which has blessed them with 2 decades of healthy life). At global pet foods they have a very diverse incentive program that applies to many different brands and products. The incentive program that relates to Fromm’s bags of Cat food is; Buy 12 bags, get one free of the same size, I had 11/12 of the big bags (10lbs) purchased on my account, and then I also had 9/12 of the medium bags (4lbs) purchased on my account. I wanted to see about converting a couple of the medium bag credits from the incentive program to equal 1 more big bag so I could access the free bag on this visit. The Owner Eva let me know that there is a process to do such conversions with the credits from the program and unfortunately It wouldn’t be able to be converted today on this visit; However, she would set in motion the process of having that completed for me by my next visit. I did let her know that I adjusted my budget with the understanding that I was going to be able to buy my cats’ food with the credits and that I was down to my last bowl of food for my cats. She clearly appreciated the situation I was in as she said “I’m not letting you leave here without having food for your cats, give me a second honey”, this is when she rustled up 4 Samples of the only brand my spoiled cats will touch (Fromm), and she asked her trusted employee Brandon (who is very friendly and accommodating) to check the back to see if there were any returns of cat food by their preferred brand; Fromm (bratty cats😼😼). After looking hard in the back, Brandon came through with finding a nice 4lb bag of top quality Fromm cat food of the “Healthy Weight” variety and it was looking like my babies were getting an early Christmas present! 😸😸 Thank you Eva and Brandon for looking at your customers as people responsible for caring for their beloved animals, and not just looking at them as a dollar sign, as some pet stores do. I appreciate you guys and I’m happy to support this store as it has supported me; always generous with new samples and amazing annual Customer Appreciation days (July 15th weekend).     Wonderful service and very friendly experiences. I know this is a family owned store, and I’ve have positive opinions on both their social media help and in person. They are very welcoming and polite. The owner gave me samples for my dog even though my dog wasn’t present, she helped my senior parents to set up a reward card and even helped them choose which items were best suited for my dog. Will definitely be changing my main pet store to this location not only because they offer 15% to seniors on last Tuesday’s, but because of how helpful and caring they are to represent their store.

    I have been coming to Global Pet Foods at this location for over 12-years and have had exemplary service and support for my five rescue cats. As a result of the great advice for food, litter, and vitamins, my cats are enjoying health and happy lives well into their upper teens with no health issues. Both the owner and her daughter are caring, compassionate, and offer sound advice, always taking the time to listen. They always offer complimentary samples of treats and food as a gesture of good-will. Food is always fresh, and supplies are always abundant, and well-organized and tidy. I am disappointed and very saddened to read two negative reviews out of dozens of glowing reviews from two customers who feel they are above store policy for the return of unused items beyond the 30-day mark. It is a shame that people behave in this manner, clearly displaying their entitlement-issues to small business owners who are trying to run a wholesome, honest, and caring business. Perhaps these customers should take their business elsewhere, and consider donating unopened food and other items to animal shelters, like the rest of us do. I can't recommend this particular location high enough for their dedication to the well-being of our beloved furry friends.

    The clerk who was an elderly white lady was extremely rude to me and my friend as we entered the store looking for toys for my friends dog. She started scolding us and kicked us out, and while we were leaving we heard her say something very disrespectful but we couldn’t really make out the exact phrase she said, nonetheless it was very unnecessary and she was really disrespectful. Shorty for sure has anger issues

    I would like everyone to know that the OWNER of this Global Pet Food and MS SHOSHANNAH are truly the best and I really appreciated what they have done for me. They practically still allowing me to hold my credit for so long which I am so impressed. They both are very sweet, friendly, kind and very knowledgeable about their product. I am extremely satisfied and happy of what they have done for me. I will definitely recommend all my friends to buy food and everything from them instead of some other company and also to this particular branch as well.     This has to be the best pet store in Ontario! I've never come across employees and owners who care so much about my pets. They know all of their names (I have five dogs) and always hook me with up with free treats whenever I'm in the store. Special shout out to Shoshannah, who is so sweet and always goes that extra mile to facilitate whatever annoying requests or questions I have. I'm so happy that restrictions have lifted and I can finally shop there in-person again!! You're doing a great job, ladies. YOU'VE GOT A CUSTOMER 4 LIFE!!!

    Is there a better pet food store anywhere? I doubt it. These ladies are terrific. They know their stuff, through and through, and are always so nice, understanding and patient with me whenever I have any questions. Great inventory of healthy foods and squeaky toys for my little 🐕! Wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

    We go to this particular location because of the owner. She is so knowledgeable and recommends food brand that made our pet much healthier, slimmer and playful. We are getting very personal service here and can get answers to many questions related to our pet. Other places I visited just cache you out, no attempt to help or educate you. The parking nearby usually busy but you can find the spot relatively easy. I do recommend this place and do not hesitate to ask for help, great people are working there.

    The owner and stuff are both friendly and know what they are doing. Definitely will come back for all my corgi’s supplies. When we waiting outside a stuff bring some water to my dog, thank you a lot!!!

    Always the best service . I have been to many other global pet foods but this one really has the best service. The mother and daughter are a dream team. They recommended a toy for my dobermans and I bought it. Although I purchased many other toys for them that day, the one they recommended was the one my dobies loved the most. They keep fighting over it! Over at this location, they are Always fast and efficient and they always give some extra treats. Even though there is another global pet foods closer to my home, I take the extra time to visit this one because they really care about their clients. Thank you ladies!! I appreciate it!
