I would like to first say that the David’s Bridal staff who assist you in finding your dream dress are amazing and so helpful and understanding. Please note this review is not directed towards this awesome team. What I have been extremely disappointed by is the alterations department. I found my dream dress at David’s. They advised I get a size up so I can alter it. Sure, they know best so I did. When I took it to be altered they started pinning everywhere. Again, I trusted them as this is what they do everyday. When I went to go pick up my dress from alterations I was so disappointed to see that my dress was nothing like I envisioned. I told them this and pointed out the specifics that I didn’t like. Their response was well that’s just how it is. I stayed trying to adjust it and they continued to ask is there anything else we can do for you? As if it were now an inconvenience that I was there. Now I have my dress and do not feel good in it at all. This is not how I envisioned it would be and now I’m stuck with a dress that doesn’t fit and back at square one to find a dress for my July wedding.

My sister-in-law made an appointment for us to come view dresses as I recently got engaged. It was supposed to be a fun surprise and ended up being quite a different experience. The check-in was sloppy, the young lady assisting me was too distracted with another client to even bring me dresses after requesting multiple times. I felt like it wasn't taken seriously. The dresses are requested came slowly and a few were for somebody else. It seemed like there were too many cooks in the kitchen. I requested to move to another part that was a little quieter in the salon and the lady refused. It just made me a little uncomfortable for sure. Although left out, I tried on seven dresses. None of which were the correct size, I was actually sized larger than I should have been because I could fit in 2 dress sizes down... Oh no it was a frustrating experience up until a nice young lady stepped in to take over, clearly seeing my frustration with her first attendant. She managed to salvage the appointment and I wish I would have had her to begin with. Her customer service was impeccable. She looked me in the eye, she treated me with respect, pulled some dresses to help with my search, her name was Alissa. She's an asset. I really do hope they keep her. As for the young lady that helped me first I won't put her name on here and throw her under the bus. I won't be buying a dress here unfortunately simply because of my experience. Again everything seems sloppy from the start there was only that one young lady who had saving grace. Hopefully my next experience dress shopping will be a much better one. I will not be coming back to the store.

A few of us (three girls) went to David's Bridal 2 months ago to shop for bridesmaids dresses. Our assigned sales associate, Christina, was not helpful at all and was no where to be found for majority of the appointment. My friend (the bride) was helping us pin up the dresses. Finally, Christina took our measurements. Fast-forward to two weeks ago, two girls went back to try on the dresses. Once again, Christina was not present for majority of the appointment. When we went to place our order, we were told that the selected dresses would not arrive in time for the wedding... The associate was aware of the wedding date from the initial appointment. If she was present during the appointment(s), perhaps we would not have tried on dresses that wouldn't arrive in time. We have decided to order our dresses from another store, and requested for the measurements that Christina took...only to be told that they were not recorded. Extremely frustrating experience. Do not recommend!

I went to David's Bridal Vaughan at the end of September to look for a wedding dress. As a plus size bride I was really nervous there would be no options for me and I was not looking forward to the experience. I had my appointment at the same time as my friend who was also looking for a dress. We explained we were friends and would love to do our appointment together. We were then introduced to the lovely Libby who was happy to help us both. Libby was so much fun and super helpful. She let us both browse the dresses and get a feel for what we wanted, dealing with our chaotic energy the whole time. She made me feel welcomed as a plus-size bride and did not steer me wrong in styles or fits. Both my friend and myself felt like we got equal attention and the three of us ended up with a great system when trying on. Libby was a dream! I found a couple of dresses I loved from the clearance section and decided to think it over. There was no pressure to buy that day, nor was I steered towards the more expensive dresses I liked. Libby really made it about what I felt best in. I decided on the dress and made a appointment to go try it on again for a Monday night. I was greeted by the amazing Nicole for this appointment. She was so kind and helpful right from the start. She let me try on some other dresses that caught my eye and was very honest about the cons of one of the styles I was interested in. She wasn't negative, nor did she judge my size but instead offered real experience advice in a kind way. During my whole experience I was not treated as lest then or a hindrance for my size, instead I was embraced. It was so different from what I expected in a good way! Trying on the dress I thought was the one again proved that it was. and it was a clearance dress., Nicole didn't pay attention to the price but instead to how I felt, which again I so appreciated. Once I knew it was it, Nicole got the Store Manager Sam and they created the most perfect moment for me to experience picking my dress. I was alone at this appointment but Nicole and Sam were able to help me not feel alone and instead celebrated and loved. I will be forever grateful for Libby, Nicole and Sam for helping me find the dress and feel so beautiful and celebrated. I can't thank them enough!

Immediately, my bridal party and I were met with hostility from the stylist. It was shocking how blatantly rude she was. My entire bridal party felt uncomfortable - and she made it seem like finding styles and sizes was a chore. Luckily, another stylist helped us and she was lovely to deal with. I absolutely would never come back here for dresses again, though. I would rather not risk experiencing that negativity that we initially were overwhelmed with. One and done.

Amazing experience!!! So much fun ringing the bell with my maid of honour (just like in the movies!😄) The ladies who helped me were super nice and so knowledgeable💖😄 they were so helpful that my maid of honour decided to try a dress on (she was also engaged to be married) and ended up with that dress😊 the seamstress was also so kind and really takes her time with you. The only thing I would advise on is the dress size I tried on a dress size four and it was perfect on me than I was advised to go with size 6 and although I had it fixed later on it stretched out on me and on day of it wasn’t as tight on me as I wanted it too. So please take that into consideration a lot of dresses stretch out (especially if you are losing weight).

I went wedding dress shopping there and didn’t really like my experience. I felt pushed by the sales person to just buy a dress that was 2 sizes too small because they wanted to get rid of it (a bride ordered it and the wedding was cancelled or something). The quality of the dresses aren’t great for what the price is. You can get a much better quality for the same price from other brands. I’m giving it 4 stars because the bridesmaids dresses were amazing and when my mom went to try on dresses, Sylvia was super nice and helpful :)

I've been to two David's Bridal location in Canada, and I have to say I had a much better experience in the Vaughan location! I found my dream wedding dress here. Nadia was able to pull out my dream dress from me after showing her a picture of the dress I originally liked. She did above and beyond and stayed much longer than she needed to as our appointment was only one hour. Not to mention it was way under budget! Along with the dress, I did my alterations at David's Bridal . We spoke to other seamstresses and they said they were not able to shorten my dress because of all the patterns that were on my dress, but low and behold, the alteration team at David's Bridal was able to do it. They even added a bustle at the wrist so it was even better! Thank you again!

We were able to get an appointment the day of to try on wedding gowns! Staff were even accommodating to moving our appointment time up an hour from the time we previously booked. I had been to a few bridal different stores in the area, and I had become discouraged that I wouldn’t be able to find a dress in my budget! David’s bridal was offering 30% off all their dresses! I tried on a hand full of dresses and I ended up finding the one!! Silva was extremely helpful in helping us pull the dresses I wanted to try on. I was able to have a memorable experience with my family trying dresses on without the pressure of needing to buy! Silva asked the right questions to help make sure I was choosing a dress that was comfortable and the right pick for me! Overall it was a great experience shopping at Davids Bridal in Vaughn. I would recommend anyone looking for a great deal, and great service to give them a try!

I advised the representative that I was going to loose weight before the wedding due to having a bypass. She agreed if I ordered the dress that day at the sale price I could exchange it when it arrives in store at no extra cost. When the dresses came in myself and 2 other bridesmaids dress did not fit and we needed to exchange, we went and asked for different sizes and they did not honour their word. They said we would have to pay the price of the dress in full. WE SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF WE COULD EXCHANGE AT NO EXTRA COST. Manager and sales representative stated there was absolutely nothing they can do to assist us and we would have to pay the difference. They can’t change store policy- despite what they had Originally said. I spoke to head office regarding this situation and they also couldn’t override what the manager of the store has decided. After month of back and forth even being ignored VIA email, I started calling other locations. Thankfully a manager understood the situation and was able to honour us exchanging the dresses at no extra cost! SHAME ON YOU VAUGHN - YOU HAD US STRESSING OVER NOTHING, you could have honoured your word and made is a pleasant experience. Instead you choose to be awful with us. When in reality you could have done it for us you just wanted more commission. Disgustingly disappointing and I would never recommend your store!

Visited David’s on Saturday and I’m Thrilled with my experience at the Vaughan location! Trying on dresses with my mom, was made unforgettable by the incredible stylist, Libby. She not only met all my desires for the wedding dress but also made the entire experience dreamy. Ended up with not just one, but three beautiful gowns for the wedding, reception, and rehearsal. Highly recommend this outstanding experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress. Felicia and the team were so helpful with the style I wanted. They were very knowledgeable and made sure to show me how my dress will look once it was fitted to my size. I fell in love with my dress! We can't wait for our bridal party appointment and for my official fitting of my gorgeous dress. Thank you David's Bridal team for going over and beyond to make sure I find my dream dress.

had such high hopes for this location in Vaughan! I've always heard great things about brides finding their dresses and even had a wonderful time chatting with some of the ladies at the Bridal show booth.. Unfortunately the service was beyond disappointing. I booked an appointment for my bridal party to find bridesmaid dresses well in advance and you would expect a room per person or at least one room between 2 peoole..nope they expect all of your bridesmaids to be finished and measured within the hour with ONE room!!! Our consultant Sarah was barely around and when she was around she would just tell us how much time we had remaining. When we asked her why the service was so poor and unorganized she said that they always overbook like this..? Thankfully they had magazines available so we took matters into our own hands and searched for the dresses ourselves! she wasn't even around to clip any of the dresses like every other shop has their consultants do. Every other bridal store has had one consultant per bridal party and one one room per person... Instead of the owner commenting on every bad review saying they want everyone to feel like "the once in a lifetime experience" they should work on the service instead of doing absolutely nothing. You would really think a highly recommended place like Davids Bridal would have exceptional service, if you are looking for that, go else where!! Maybe somewhere less popular at that, smaller businesses seem to have much better service.

Highly recommend! Went here for my first wedding dress appointment and my stylist, Vanessa, was an absolute dream to work with. She was patient, kind, and provided awesome recommendations. I went on a Monday night and the store was so quiet, it made it such a relaxing experience! I ended up finding my dream dress under budget, and my dress will be able to get altered within my very limited timeline (2 months). I cannot thank Vanessa and the rest of the staff at David’s Bridal (who were also wonderful) enough for this amazing experience! Thank you so much!

I cannot saying enough great things about David’s Bridal in Vaughan, they have an amazing selection of beautiful dresses. I went in with my family to find my wedding dress yesterday, I had already selected some from online that I knew I wanted to try on. The staff was so incredible and helpful, they were able to find the dresses I wanted to try on. But they also encouraged me to have a look around and see what they had on the floor as well. I ended up finding the perfect one from the selection they had in store, it wasn’t even one of the ones I had picked out before arriving. It was the second one I tried on and I knew it was the one, the staff were so great to make the experience special, bringing the matching veil to try along with it. And once it was decided they have such a special tradition of ringing the bell and they were so sweet to take a family picture for us. I highly recommend David’s Bridal, we will definitely be making the trip back to this location to select our bridesmaids dresses next month, and I have no doubt it will be another amazing experience.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at David’s Bridal. My stylist Emily was fantastic! She pulled all the dresses I liked plus some she chose based on my style. She helped me pin them to fit and brought me shoes and veils to try on as well. She was very efficient and helpful and made the process enjoyable. Thank you Emily!

I went to David's Bridal to select bridesmaid dresses! I had a fantastic experience, and all the bridesmaids were happy with their dress selection. Our stylist was Libby, and she understood my vision and was very helpful. She made our experience that much better. Overall, dresses are affordable, and they have a HUGE selection of colours and styles! Highly recommend.

Amazing/emotional time here! I found the perfect wedding dress and i loved it. The experience here made everything even better. I had Libby and I wouldn’t want it any other way. She was amazing, listened to everything I said/asked/wanted and even went above and beyond. She was amazing to my family that tagged along to and the dress was ready so fast! I can’t wait to go back and start alterations. Over all very good experience and I recommend anyone looking for a dress, to definitely check them out.

I just had my wedding less than a week ago and David’s Bridal made my wedding planning super easy. The manager at this store, Libby, is so kind and understanding and was very accommodating to me. The other staff here are all so sweet and nice and helpful as well. They helped me with every aspect of buying my wedding dress and accessories! I highly recommend this location! It is a very well managed store with amazing staff and customer service!

My experience with david's bridal was amazing. I went there to buy a dress for prom, but i went in october, so I can see why they didn't have that many prom options, but i still got to choose a lovely dress thanks to one of their stylists, Kanyon. I just strongly recommend that you know your size before you get there, because another one of the stylists tried to help me with my size but got it wrong. If you do get their help in determining your size, make sure you try at least two sizes below the size to make sure that is the right size for you. But still, premium experience. Also gotta love their shoe collection. I'll also put a picture of my dress but i had to have it ordered so it's not the exact one.

What an amazing appointment at David’s Bridal- in Vaughan! Sharon was an amazing consultant. She totally nailed the vision I wanted for my low key but elegant wedding. She listened and allowed me to explore some options. I wasn’t rushed and was taken very good care of. As for Sylvia, her gentle yet very knowledgeable approach helped to determine the smaller details that made all the difference. Thanks to you both for making my day so special.

The team is exceptional. Libby helped me a lot. My wedding is in less than 2 weeks and I've been having trouble finding a dress because I am pregnant. But Libby made this whole experience not stressful and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Thank you David's Bridal!

This was the first place I went to shop for a wedding dress. My associate was Tina. She was incredible. This is not at all my kind of thing. I usually shop online and always choose the safe choice fashion wise. I felt so out of place when I arrived (not at all the fault of the staff at David's Bridal just my lack of confidence). I did research before arriving already choosing a few dresses that way I could be in and out without any problems. My associate chose a few dresses for me and helped my mom and sister go through the dresses and select ones they thought would be suitable. Tina was not pushy or over the top. She was super low key. I think she could feel my anxious energy and really did everything she could to keep my calm (I was shaking the entire appointment). Every dress I put on she always knew the right thing to say and how to dress it up to make me feel like more of a bride. My mother and sister didn't need to do a thing for me while I was there. They selected the dresses and Tina was already there with shoes different veils and accessories. When I found the one we were all so excited and Tina went above and beyond to make me feel special and excited about the dress. Overall I think this was the best experience I could've asked for looking for a dress. For an experience that made me so nervous and feel so insecure I walked out feeling like a beautiful bride. Thank you so much to Tina and all the other associate there!

Had an amazing experience and found my dream dress! Nicole was amazing and took the time to help my find dress. She had a great understanding of stock and was able to listen to what I liked and what I didn’t like to pull dresses to try on. The dress I picked was one that she had pull and was definitely not something I would have picked for myself, however I am so glad that she did! She was also not overly pushy for another sale which I appreciated, you could tell that she was genuinely interested in finding me a dress for my big day. It was also great to be apart of the tradition of ringing the bell, such a great way to make a bride feel special and appreciated! Lastly I just want to say that I really appreciated the wide range of sizes available to try on. Typically being a size 18-20 it is difficult to find sample dress to try on as not all bridal salons are body inclusive ,however at this location I did not have that issue as every dress I wanted to try on was available. Overall thank you to all the staff at David’s bridal in Woodbridge for creating such a positive experience!

David's in Vaughn was truly a wonderful experience. Stan and staff were kind, non-judgmental of my budget, and helped me feel at ease trying on different dresses and styles. Such an amazing experience. Libby made it such a fun and smooth process to say yes to my dress. Woohoo!! All the staff members I met were very nice and friendly and even attended to me immediately even though I arrived an hour and a half before my appointment. Also, their little ritual they do when you say yes to your dress is soo adorable. Made me so emotional. Truly an exceptional experience ❤️ thank you guys for your hard work ❤️
