Is not recommended. I'm having treatment with both children and it's a mess. You can never reach anyone at the registration desk. You should plan a few hours to get through. You wait forever for appointments or you get forgotten. Everything is done according to the curriculum and no consideration is given to individuality. The doctors there probably know everything in 30 minutes, because the parents are not listened to or they treat you in a derogatory way. Social counseling seems to have free capacity because you are always sent there even though you don't need it. If you don't want that, a derogatory sentence will appear in the report. Oh yes, you wait forever for reports and work, usually around 3 months. The therapists and doctors there are constantly changing. Always getting used to the child, etc. We already have the 4th physiotherapist. And my child is 5. The only positive things we have are: the current physiotherapist and the ear doctor. Unfortunately I have to stay here due to a lack of a car. Human genetics consisted of the child's looks. That was it. Then I looked for a human geneticist myself who finally found the cause. Every time you go in already frustrated and come out even more frustrated.

After a short wait, we were warmly welcomed into the treatment room. The sister explained every step in a very friendly, understandable way and she was very fond of children and warm. The examination lasted approximately 20 minutes. The evaluation then took place. The doctor was also friendly, understandable and very competent.

This was my second time in the SPZ. I was there for the first time about 8 years ago with my autistic son. At the time I didn't like the whole thing at all. I was currently there with my 4 year old daughter. On the advice of my family doctor. The positive. We arrived very punctually. But that's the only positive thing. Unfortunately. During the hearing test, after an "intelligence test" that had taken place 1 hour before, it was assumed that the child was still very attentive without a parent. My daughter was just through it and crying, then I was finally called in. Then came the statement, her child is already 5, why is she crying now? Very unprofessional and I definitely wouldn't recommend it! I will definitely not enter this establishment again!

Unfreundlich, sehr lange wartezeiten trotz Termin!

We registered at the SPZ due to a referral for an outpatient EEG. We got an appointment within 21 days. Everyone was very friendly and spoke to our daughter (4) and not, as is often the case, over her. There were hardly any waiting times and an evaluation was carried out immediately, also with the words that if problems arose again, we could contact us here at any time. Thanks for that.

Unfortunately, I've been there with my daughter since she was 1.2 years old, now she's 8. She's always not interested in going to the spz appointments. Understandably, at the beginning she would be passed from one doctor to another. So I didn't go to kindergarten until she was 4. I could do that didn't work then last year she got a leg pelvic trunk orthosis, but no one cared about the rash. Since then she's been doing sports and riding therapy, yes I pay for it myself but back training no no with the orthosis everything fits. Now she's been away from someone else's house Because of psychologists. Testing for autism and ADHD was said straight away by the spz, no she hasn't, please cancel the diagnosis for the sake of the child blah blah. of course I didn't do it. she has ADHD. awesome why h spz says it has nothing psychological but give her to the spz psychologist an appointment. I canceled with the words they said, but you don't need a psychologist, why then the appointment seems unnecessary to me, you're calm. Well, if a man acts up, they also like to quickly threaten with the youth welfare office because we are endangering the child and are opposing the help and financial support

Submitted the registration with bank transfer more than 6 months ago. Now received a rejection because you don't have time or staff. You can currently still download the registration form from their website and register for possible appointments. There is no note on the website that they are no longer accepting patients. Thank you very much for nothing.

There for years. I have experienced both good and negative therapists. It changes constantly. Hard to reach by phone. But if you know what you want and know your rights. Collaboration works great. But I also have a lot of investigations outside of the SPZ. Submitting just letters works great too.

We got an appointment at Kiga 1 month after the evaluation. Dr. Kraus hadn't been in the clinic for long at that point and everything was going a little bumpy, but after intensive discussions with Ms. Pelster (physiotherapy), more and more examinations were carried out and I also received a lot of help with insurance issues. My daughter is severely developmentally delayed and was not walking at the time of the 1-5 session and she is still not speaking (4 years old). Ms. Pelster is incredibly good at her work and has always shown me tips and ways to encourage my child. She is also always available to reject prescriptions from the AOK and in Kajamed we have also found a great partner to provide full support for my daughter. In the meantime, the collaboration from all sides is just great and we are reporting ever better results. We are very satisfied with the entire team, everyone is super nice and competent. I would like to expressly thank you for always supporting us as best you can, since there are really a lot of children. Thank you very much 😊

Chaotic mess... My child and I have also had negative experiences. I'll start with the fact that despite having an appointment you have to wait up to 25 minutes. It's no problem that the children can't even keep themselves busy there because of the lack of facilities.... There were no patients in front of us, but we still waited 25 minutes the first time. Follow-up appointments were up to 3/4 years apart. Then an appointment was spontaneously changed by a few months and within a week we were unable to have a prescription issued due to work etc. as our KIA is in another city. We still picked up a prescription from the KIA for the quarter and also sent it by post to the SPZ. Now a bill came for €400, which is what they are asking for. After asking by phone, no one knows anything. I'm supposed to get another copy from the pediatrician, but that's not possible and if they were, they wouldn't have reimbursed me for travel costs or anything else because it's definitely not my fault. It's chaotic and a few weeks ago there were a lot of negative reviews here describing exactly the same thing. It was all deleted. It's a shame that there are no other alternatives and you just have to go here. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We already rated it in March last year. Unfortunately, the honest reviews are simply deleted. A quick note: our child is now finally doing better after the diagnosis mentioned below, which the SPZ had so vehemently rejected. Here is our review again: Unfortunately, we didn't have such good experiences with the SPZ in Chemnitz either. The nurse who weighed/measured us was always very friendly when dealing with our child. The psychotherapist we had was too. But from one day to the next she wasn't there anymore, which is why we only had appointments with the doctor. When asked, the fact that we have certain illnesses in the family was resolutely dismissed. Whether I want to put a stamp on our child that he or she won't be able to get rid of was, among other things, a question that hits you when you've noticed for years that your child is different and that this only annoys them in kindergarten and school. Asking whether our child makes monotonous noises, whether he always rocks back and forth, which I couldn't answer in the affirmative. And the fact that she can look into the eyes when she speaks... then the harsh statement that if she has autism she will eat a broom (literally like that) was the highlight. And I have never been so unfriendly that I should be treated so badly. Now we had a diagnosis in a KJP practice, and what can I say, our child got the “stamp” of ASD. As much as you may not have wanted this for your child, we now have ways to finally help our child. It's bad when children think they are wrong in the world. And now hopefully things are looking up.
