I went here with my colleague for dinner as this place has the best reviews. The ambience was great with people buzzing. They have many seating options which is great. We didn't do reservation but got a place for 2. The menu has a lot of options for all size of diners, including family picnic type meal options. We ordered the large wings (5 large sized wings) which were great. On the mains, we got quarter BBQ chicken and fried chicken. Both were very average and didn't live up to the expectation. The BBQ chicken was a bit dry and the fried chicken leg piece was tiny with more batter than meat. The sides we ordered were sweet potato fries and roasted corn which were awesome and probably the most enjoyed dishes. They also have their signature sauce collection and most of them are sweet. There is ample parking options so that should not be a problem.

Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had! BBQ is always delicious. Staff is very accommodating. And they always have good bands for a fun atmosphere. Will continue to come here keep it up 👍 👍 Wanted to add had the chicken and waffles the other night added some eggs to complete my dinner/breakfast and it was delicious!!!

This place is legit BBQ! The portions are gigantic, we had way to much food. The picnic for 6 and there was 5 of us for dinner. The fried chicken might have been the best I have ever had, couldn't stop eating it! The ribs where fall off the bone, and the sauces are delicious. For the Bourbon lovers, they have an impressive selection over 200 bottles with alot of really hard to find ones. Steve the owner came by introduced himself and made sure everything was good. It was better than good it was great. Jessica was our server and was awesome, the staff was awesome seemed that 4 to 5 other staffers where there to help either clearing the table or bring us food and just checking in. This was impressive to me because how busy they were, the place was packed. Seriously I had such a great experience I'm looking forward for a return visit and for more of that fried chicken!

We got there just after the kitchen closed. Just FYI, the kitchen closes by 10 most nights, but the bar is open till 11/12. Edit: we were so eager to try the drinks and BBQ we came back the next day, and we weren't disappointed! Jamie provided great recommendations and descriptions- the perfect server! Odd note: their water cups are HUGE. We personally recommend the melons drink and the candied bacon. Like Jamie said- life changing!

This restaurant is the best so far. Clean. The food, so tantalizing. The staff are very courteous and professional. The proprietor goes around to greet and find out if there is anything they can do to improve dinners experience in the restaurant. He says jokes and is very friendly.

I can't believe this was my first time here! Food is 👏🏽 absolutely 👏🏽 amazing 👏🏽. Service was on par as well. Well worth the price. Def recommend the pulled pork Mac and cheese but you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose

We (5 adults) were one of the few occupied tables. Intentionally went early as we had a stroller w/ 2½-month old baby. Wanted to help new mom & dad with a "restaurant experience" w/ baby in tow. Even though it wasn't busy, Carly S was helpful, attentive, & provided excellent service! First time for two of us; we will definitely return.

I say this with total confidence: Firefly’s is up there with BTs for some of the best BBQ in the state. Seriously. The pulled pork on white toast was perfectly seasoned, and depending on the sauce, has a nice kick to it to round out the delectable flavor and consistent texture. It pairs excellently with the dirty rice n beans. The real star of the show, however, was the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Most fried chicken is totally bland on the inside, with all the flavor just on the crispy skin — this is not the case here. The chicken not only had amazingly delicious and crispy skin, but also tender and juicy meat, with plenty of flavor to boot. The greens were a perfect balance, not too vinegary, not too salty, just right. I also cannot, in good conscience, forgo discussion regarding the beignets. Total showstopper. You’ve gotta try it for yourself. Add the amazing and speedy service on top, and you’ve got a must-visit spot in the Marlborough area. For the price, portion & production quality, I must say that I am satisfied. 5 stars.

Firefly's is my all time favorite BBQ spot. Steve and his team do a fantastic job and the food is amazing! On the menu all items that can be made gluten free are labeled and staff are knowledgeable. Our waiter Gerry was fantastic and had lots of great recommendations.

Your candied bacon appetizer was truly one of the best things I have ever eaten. Ribs+pulled pork for entree with cornbread and sweet potato fries was also delicious and plenty of leftovers to bring home. Carly our server took great care of us and was friendly + attentive. 5 Star first experience, will be back.

Great BBQ place with great outdoor seating! Got the Texas Brisket platter with mac & cheese and sweet potato pudding. Everything tasted amazing and my husband enjoyed his Cajun catfish special as well. Finished the night off with the best cookie sundae I’ve ever had! Kathleen did a great job taking care of us and we will be back soon!

Went to this place, the parking lot was packed, and I almost went to another restaurant. I'm glad I didn't had a band,the food was good and the beer was cheap and cold. The owner's wife and daughter sit down next to me at the bar. Got to meet the owner,Steve. Nice guy, and nice family. You could tell the guy knew what he was doing in the restaurant business. Got me to try his ribs,that's saying something because I don't do ribs. If you're into ribs and in the area, this is where I would go. Big into bourbon, it had my favorite W.L.Weller. So it's a hit right away.

If you are looking for a great barbecue spot, this is the one! The food is modern yet maintains classic dishes like the famous St Louis ribs, Mac n’ cheese, corn bread and wings. The burnt ends are a must and the chicken wings will leave you wanting to return the very next day! One of the best BBQ spots in the greater Boston area. Get the beignets for dessert if you have room!

We had a large party there this evening after a day of apple picking. Gerry our host was amazing made sure the drinks and food were there on a tight schedule. Great service and great food. We basically ordered the whole menu. You can’t go wrong, but the beef rib special was well.. dare I say.. special? We ordered a combo of wings, the spicy sweet Asian wings were my favorite, burnt ends, chili brisket mac and cheese, St Louis baby Backs, collard greens, cornbread, onion sticks, and on and on. It was all tremendous.

By the second visit felt I was a local. Friendly staff, great food, and wonderful drinks.

Firefly's is a big and fun place to gather with friends and family to hang out or celebrate any occasion. Perfect place for watching the games as well. Food is delicious and plentiful. Recently visited with 5 other people and everyone loved their food and our appetizers were really tasty!

Fantastic BBQ! Great service, super helpful and friendly. The staff was super knowledgeable and you could tell they were all happy to be there. If you order takeout online, they use a program called something like Toast and you earn money off. I was happily surprised to see that I got $15 off my last order. I last ordered for New Year's Eve. Fast service. Not long of a wait at all. I called ahead of time to check and there was no wait or delay with my order. If you love BBQ then this is the local place for you. I prefer their fried chicken and BBQ ribs. I usually get green beans and mashed with gravy. Their pickles cucumbers are a favorite pick too. Very good. Their kids meals are good too. You get an entree, one side and a cookie. Great for kids who eat smaller amounts than adults. I definitely recommend Firefly's for local BBQ. Take it or dine in. They have their own parking lot. On very busy nights they seem to have employees outside to direct patrons where to park. The parking lot is large enough to find a spot, even when busy. They have a few spots near the door for take out.

I was really impressed with the food here. We got a few apps. The burnt ends are really good. They have a nice BBQ sauce on them. It comes with a horseradish sauce. The sauce was just ok. We got the tex mex poutine. The poutine with the beef was really good. Beef was well done with good flavor. The other poutine had halipinos on it. It was ok, but didn't really compare to the other poutine. Both had lots of real cheese. We also got the wings. They are very big full wings. They have a great smoke on them and are cooked well. They came with two sauces. One was creamy with a mellow sweet taste to them. Good flavor. The second sauce was spicey. It had a good kick to it with great flavor. It was a great blend. We also got a Mac n cheese bowl with beef on it. Flavor was really good. Corn bread was very moiste, but a little lite on the flavor. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean. They have a live stage, so some nights might get very noisy. We were there for lunch, so it was quiet. They have a huge alcohol list. This place is definitely worth going back to.

One of the best BBQ places in New England. Price is fair since the quality is top notch. Portions are equally great, and they have a great curbside pick up system. Highly recommended when the BBQ mood strikes.

Food is very good and delicious. I had the two meat combo of Pulled Chicken and Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, dirty rice and cornbread. My wife had the veggie burger and fries and we both had sweet tea (finally a good sweet tea in the north, hard to find). Everything was wonderful and we were served well by the friendly service of Colleen. This is my second and definitely not my last time coming here. Highly recommend for a great BBQ food experience. Finally found an amazing BBQ fix! Fair prices and awesome food! The owner Steve was very nice and made our experience that much more enjoyable. He insisted on trying the Sweet Potato Pecan Pie and it was heavenly. They checked us in prior to parking and we were well spaced from any other guests. Couldn’t ask for a more safe environment! Gerald our waiter was awesome as well! Thank you, we will be back and highly recommend!

Visited this place with my girlfriends for the first time. It's located 20 min from were I live and never heard about it. I asked and I was told that the restaurant it's 20 years. I was surprised to hear that cause the Food, drinks, customer service and ambiance met my expectations. They had a live band and a great selection of Whiskeys 😏 We had a really good time. Planning to go back soon.

I had NEVER heard of this restaurant until yesterday. I was invited to this place and I like trying new restaurants and I WAS NOT disappointed. The food was great, staff was amazing - VERY friendly and accommodating , place was clean, and my friends were right….I liked it. They had me when I tasted the sweet tea. I’m a southern girl and great sweet tea is life. I will definitely be back and I will be bringing people who’ve never been before. From the photo, you can see the small drumstick they gave me and my friend said something about it and IMMEDIATELY, our waitress went in the kitchen and got me a regular size piece. The courtesy of this staff and willingness to assist reminds of a fancier version of Chic-fi-la. I gave them a 4 star because their is always room for growth, I just don’t know what that would be for this restaurant yet. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!

This place goes above and beyond always, especially during these uncertain times. 3 check points and plenty of space between tables!! The manager is so kind, checks on each table every time we visit. I recommend the burnt ends, smoked wings and the thai sticky ribs are absolute musts. Check them out ASAP!!!!!!

Wow. Just wow. Im a BBQ lover and was so happily surprised by this gem up north. Hard to find up here in NewEngland. They were super clean and everyone in the building was on their game for the new covid regulations. Nicely done. Fyi. Burnt Ends and Candy Lacquered are a must try along with a childhood favorite Smiley Fries.

Went here 1st time. Didn't have reservation, but were seated almost immediately. Waiter asked if we had been before. He explained the available BBQ sauce. Told us that BBQ items were dry-rubbed. I got a 3 meat combo of brisket, ribs and fried chicken. Got collard greens and corn bread as sides. Will have to say...the BBQ was VERY good. Fried chicken was about an 8 out of 10. Collard greens were spicy and heavy on the garlic...just right. Got the Texas BBQ sauce, pretty spicy like I wanted. Overall, VERY GOOD authentic BBQ. I would say about an 8.5 out of 10.

This is what a modern smokehouse should be. It has nice decoration, different kind of environment to please any kind of customer and has a pretty open area. The food is delicious and they give a lot. This is a place to all the family and friends, I recommend the ribs, the sweet potatoes and the BBQ Bowls

The food is always amazing. The bacon app and burnt ends could be a meal in itself and the perfect way to start a great meal. It's been several years since I've been and the cucumber salad is as life changing as I remember. It could be its own desert. Yes you read that right! The staff, manager, and owner all made you feel welcome and safe. They have a great system for pick up or dine In and manage the lines very quickly so theres minimal delay. If you haven't been yet what are you waiting for.

We came to this spot for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this place very much and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.

I've been here a lot and their food is always good. Makes for great takeout food as well. Had an issue with my New Years order, but they reached out to me and refunded my order the next day which I really appreciated.

Excellent service and food/drinks the only thing is, I ordered the famous bbq burger as is and they forgot the sauce, no big deal as I asked for a side but I did have to wait a bit (again no big deal, just would have been nicer to have it made as it says) I also noticed online it's supposed to come topped with fried pickles? I didn't know at the time so I wasn't disappointed but I do love me some fried pickles! The fries were delicious. At first we didn't think the portion was generous enough (because who doesn't love getting all the fries?!) but after the big burger we realized we didn't need more fries and were very pleased with how full and happy we were. They met covid expectations and the place was clean and spaced out nicely. I can't wait to go back and try some bbq. Thank you!

The ribs were falling off of the bone and amazing. The cucumber salad was very refreshing. The brisket is also very amazing!!!

Ordered through DoorDash. Did not receive one item (wings), otherwise I would give a 5. The food was delicious. Had the Smokin Picnic with pulled pork and dixie kiss sauce, mac and cheese also. I'm not usually a huge fan of bbq beans, but these were good and had a unique twist using a medley of different beans. Mac and cheese was deliciously rich and creamy. Pulled pork, so good. Coleslaw also good and cornbread sweet and fluffy. Will get again for sure.

Got takeout, was really well organized drive through. Food was super tasty and value for money, my wife and I split a 4 meat meal and there were still leftovers - so tasty!

Great ribs and sauces.

We had a perfect afternoon at Fireflys. Despite the ongoing apocalypse, we felt safe and appropriately distanced at all times. We enjoyed the unseasonably warm November afternoon in our own little nook complete with two sofas, a chair and a coffee table. Later on, a nearby gas fireplace was lit for added ambiance and warmth. We will be back, and feel safe dining inside as well, we were assured it was safe...the new ventilation system recirculates the are every 16 minutes. It’s hard to believe I’ve gotten this far in a review without mentioning the food but here we are. Try the fried pickle chips, they are the best I’ve had . All the food is amazing- can’t go wrong.

Let's just say that the food that were able to eat was decent enough to give them another chance but their pickup service was challenging. In their rush, they dropped our food and it fell in the car but when they replaced it, it was slapped together. There was more food on my car floor from their spillage than in the container "replacements". We may try again on a day where hungry stomachs do not prevail.

This is the best BBQ that I have ever had and I used to live in the south. Their Covid safety protocols made us feel very safe and the staff was friendly and professional.

Excellent place to come get some bbq! Got the brisket, ribs, pulled chicken and pulled pork were all juicy and flavorful, and the sides were great too. They also did an impressive job with covid restrictions - plenty of outdoor seating at least six feet apart along with patio heaters. The staff was very friendly, we would definitely come back!
