My friend ordered online smoothies and a sandwich for us. When she arrived 15-20 mins later, one of the workers there told my friend that she hadn't made the smoothies yet. The girl then proceeded to make other smoothies and finally ours. My friend reminded the girl about the note of substituting sugar for Splenda. The girl read the substitution note but didn't understand what substitution meant and put both sugar and Splenda in the smoothie. The girl, then had an attitude when my friend explained she wanted just Splenda and not sugar, hence the substitution note. Once the smoothies were made, they forgot to hand my friend my flatbread sandwich which was just sitting on the counter for at least 30 mins at that time. When my friend arrived to my house with the smoothies, I noticed a note on my smoothie that said non fat yogurt which was not what my friend ordered me. The Mango Berry Cosmo doesn't come with yogurt so I was confused why it had yogurt in it. My friend had ordered Baked Lays chips with my sandwich and I received Harvest Cheddar Cheese chips, smh. The final straw was when I ate my flatbread sandwich. Paper was left in my sandwich! I bit and ATE paper folded into the food! This is UNACCEPTABLE and every one there needs training on how to act professional, treat customers, understand orders and make the food properly!!!!

Extremely rude staff working. I came here on (12/04/2020) at 8:15p.m. You walk in the store and they don't even acknowledge you standing waiting to have your order taken. One of the girls had headphones in her ears while working and didn't seem to want to be bothered. Everyone else is just standing around. After about 3 minutes of standing at the counter someone finally came from out the back and took my order. YALL SUCK!!!!

I came to tropical smoothie to get a drink to start my day and there is a new manager that is Caucasian that is working on the register that is very rude. I waited over 20 minutes for a smoothie and then after they made it, they decided to let it melt and then pour my drink and pass it to me. I decided to get my refund and the lady told me to please get out of her store because they took too long for my order and then they try to give me a watery drink. Do not go here.

The drinks are great! The staff is good. But the music is awful, with bad curse words, xrated, you can not bring children in there.

I’ve been coming here for the last 2 months and each time is a better experience. The manager is respectful, polite and professional. He also cleans up during downtime - now that’s amazing! Today I ordered from Stan, His new name is “My Good Man, Stan” - from entering the spot to ordering my smoothies, Stan was extremely polite, professional and accurate. He took the time to read my order back to be accurate - again, that’s damn good customer service in today’s day and age. OH - my good man Stan reminded me that I had a free smoothie!!!! I was like wowwww - look at Stan!!!! All the staff is efficient and expeditious with my orders. It’s truly a pleasure to come here and walk out with a great human service experience and delicious smoothies - EVERYTIME!!

My daughter wanted to try this place out we got our nails done, and I'm so glad we did. She ordered the Mango Magic, and it was Delicious!! She even said how"Fresh" it tasted! The cashier was super helpful with the questions I had about the ingredients, and he even gave my daughter a free cookie. The place was clean and the workers that were there were super nice and welcoming! I will definitely be going back there again!

Best tropical smoothie in Southern Prince George’s County. Go there after my workouts and the smoothie is always perfect. THEY MAKE THE BEST WRAPS out of all the Tropical Smoothie’s. I go there about 2-3 days a week. The manager is phenomenal.

We never had to pay for the straws. I got three smoothies and it came to $30. She could have at least told us we have to pay for them I should have paid more attention. Sorry...this just makes me not want to go back.

I appreciate one of the associates cleaning the store and tables with a clean rag and hot sanitation solution i...rare to see people really cleaning stores now a days. The store smelt clean and looked very clean

This location definitely fell off in terms of making smoothies. I asked to get the same smoothie 2x and it still had 0 taste. The smoothie cost too much for it to be tasteless.

I walked in there today, I was greeted soon as I walked in. And the first thing i thought was a high school. Everybody that was in there had to be 25 and under. After the using restroom .I order a smoothie and bbq shrimp quesadilla. My smoothie was made right away. I then waited a extra 10-15 minutes for my quesadilla. it was atleast 8-10 staff there it was no way that i should've waited that long for my food to be prepared and there was 8-10 staff on the clock. After waiting so long for my food a young man walked up to me and asked what was I waiting for and I told him my food. After that he walked over with my food in hand. I went back to my vehicle and I felt in my gut that my smoothie and quesadilla was not right. So I opened my quesadilla and all the (6) shrimp was in one packet of the quesadilla. And my smoothie tasted like sugar ice with color. So I took my quesadilla back in and asked if they can make it over because all the shrimp was just in one packet of the quesadilla. After the young lady took my food. Everybody gather around to see what the food looked like. Everybody in there looked at me with looks on their faces like I was the problem all because i asked for my food to be made over. So after I get my second quesadilla something told me that this one was gonna be messed up to. So I opened this one and there was 1 shrimp in each packet of the quesadilla. I went from 6 to 4 shrimp. At this point I'm already in my car and I wasnt going back in there to start no argument because i been at work til 2:15AM. There needs to be better training on making the smoothies and food proportion. This is the first location I went to and I will not be going back.

Honestly, there’s no excuse for poor customer service. Someone needs to be held accountable for this store. Better training and management is highly needed. A good meal and experience makes people happy. It’s one thing to leave unsatisfied but when the workers make you feel like they don’t care to fix the issue and show no type of remorse it seems very personal and unprofessional. I’ve been to several locations and this is the only location that seems to give me problem after problem. I don’t see why anyone that acts nonchalant and rude should have this type of job. Special attention is needed!!!!!! No details needed. I’ve read several complaints that is similar to mine. But I will say the manager Natalie was not helpful at all. She lied twice and shouldn’t be holding this type of position. I asked for my receipt to be reprinted and she told me she couldn’t do it. I simply said ok. After leaving the store I left my not so good survey. She called me to talk about my response then says she told me she couldn’t print my receipt for orders over a hour. Which was not the case. It hadn’t even been a full hour which I explained to her over the phone, she then proceeded to tell me nothing can be done and to have a nice day. Didn’t even apologize for my experience. Very unprofessional!!

The smoothies here never taste the way they do at other tropical smoothie locations. Lazy & unprofessional people working here too.
