Walked
to
Crosby
from
Union
Mills
along
the
old
railway
line;
after
an
amazing
couple
of
hours
in
the
park
opposite
(alongside
Costa)
we
went
to
the
Crosby
pub
which
is
often
recommended
to
us
and
we’re
glad
we
did.
We
had
drinks
&
our
five
year
old
played
in
the
small
play
area
-
toys,
books
and
a
small
teepee
-
it’s
a
nice
family
friendly
atmosphere
in
the
restaurant
and
lounge
side.
There
were
more
people
in
the
bar
area
across
the
other
side
of
the
pub.
They
were
in
good
spirits
enjoying
the
Bank
Holiday
BUT
it
wasn’t
raucous
or
loud.
Our
son
ordered
his
own
hot
chocolates
and
the
staff
were
very
kind
and
patient
with
him.
They
were
apologetic
that
they’d
ran
out
of
marshmallows
for
his
second
hot
chocolate.
We
didn’t
have
food
this
time
but
I
noticed
there’s
a
couple
of
“plant
based”
options
so
hopefully
they
are
cooked
separately
for
vegans.
The
view
is
gorgeous
looking
out
over
Co-Op,
plenty
of
rolling
hills.
We’ll
definitely
be
back
for
another
drink
and
food
if
it’s
available.
Recommend
this
pub
for
families
&
people
who
just
want
a
reasonably
priced
drink
in
the
countryside.
