This restaurant had caught our attention as one of the "best restaurants to try in Marrakesh" that we had researched prior to our trip. Conveniently, it was located just a few steps away from our riad. Since we hadn't made a dinner reservation, we missed the opportunity to dine on the terrace. However, given the chilly evening (and the fact that we had already enjoyed several terrace dinners throughout the week), we were perfectly content with a table on the first floor. The restaurant had a modest decor and a relaxed atmosphere, which immediately set a comfortable tone. The menu, while relatively simple, was a breath of fresh air compared to many Lebanese restaurants we had visited in the past (and I mean that in a good way). For starters, we opted for the origin meze, which included Aubergine Burghul and Fatet Djaj (Chicken with Rice and Yogurt), accompanied by refreshing drinks. The origin meze was decent, offering small vegetarian tasters served with thin pitas. The standout dish was the Baba Ganoush, while the rest leaned towards the sweeter side. Adding some more spices and warming up the pitas would have elevated the experience dramatically. The main courses, on the other hand, were both outstanding and generously portioned. The aubergines were beautifully cooked and the bulgur was delightfully adorned with almonds and peanuts. A touch more spice, particularly salt, would have perfected the dish. As for the chicken with rice and yogurt, it was a flavor explosion, thanks to the mild cinnamon, toasted almonds, and fresh mint. The virgin mojito we ordered also proved to be an excellent accompaniment. To conclude our meal, we indulged in traditional mint teas. While we would have loved to try something sweet, the options available seemed a bit too heavy for our liking. Overall, our experience at the restaurant was excellent. While some minor adjustments could be made to elevate it to an "absolute must," it certainly left us satisfied and impressed.

So I have to say, it's a beautiful hole in the wall with an amazing rooftop. We had lunch here and tried the owners recommendations on what to eat :) the owner also had a cute daughter that played fist bump with us. We recommend having the fatet. We don't eat beef so they made it vegetarian for us and it was perfect. I think it was my favorite dish on the menu!! Ypghurty with lots of fried vegetables with some garlic! We also tried the wraps and I loved the chicken one. Totally recommend. They made me an amazing ice coffee too. We give them an 8/10!

Wow, genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in months. The chicken wrap was superb, I loved the fried cauliflower and pickle sauce. My wife also really enjoyed her chicken rice bowl dish. The service was kind, the atmosphere was authentic and sleek. I will 100% recommend this restaurant to all my friends that visit Marrakesh.

Amazing place to have a nice dinner. We went there on our trip to Marrakech, but felt this restaurant would fit in any capital we know. We had no reservation, and they asked us to come ½hour later. So, we took our time to wonder around the nicest part of the souk (strait ahead from the restaurant street). When we came back, they were waiting for us. We got a very nice terrace table, staff amazing and the food was great. For starters we got the combination, which we totally recommend. The main courses were great, specially the pulp. 5 stars! We will be back for sure!

One of the best Lebanese food we’ve eaten and definitely top in the list of restaurants in Marrakech. Everything was very fresh and tasty and good portions. We visited on Friday evening with two kids - one very grumpy toddler. There were very understanding and accommodating to the kids. Would definitely visit again.

I can’t recommend enough this place! Seriously worth getting everything on the menu. It was a long while since I was actually able to enjoy a decent meal at a decent place. This place made me one of the most delicious food I ever ate. Don’t think twice come here and order the octopus, minced meat aubergine and whatever else u fell like

Honestly some of the best food we’ve had in Marrakech and some of the best Lebanese food hands down. The rooftop is a very nice and relaxed spot, with a great atmosphere. The service was also great! The wraps are fantastic, as well as the Hamshouka and the chicken with lebanese rice. The meal was fresh and perfectly spiced. The house iced tea was also lovely!! Pretty wow meal and just great all around.

I was doubting my visit to the simple fact would be more Lebanese food rather than marrocan and I always want to try local however the high number of reviews linked with high rating played up on me for 2 days, decided to have a hod....do not miss it!! It's a must!! Super friendly and attentive staff, many rooms simple and beautiful decorated, all modern. Food is presented to high standards, and its quality and taste are supreme! Great location, right on the way to Souks and Jeema El-Fna Square. Do not hesitate to visit. the reservation is required for the terrace

Amazing place!! We ate here twice during our stay in Marrakech: once for lunch and once for dinner and we weren’t disappointed either times. Naim our server was such a treat! He was very attentive and quick with everything. He even remembered us the second time we came two days later. This whole establishment was very personable with great food! We recommend the octopus and the lemon tea.

Went here for lunch, it was busy, had to wait 15 mins to get a seat on the rooftop. The food was excellent, it was well presented and tasted amazing. We got the vegetarian meze, just wish the portion size was bigger as it tasted amazing. Also had the chicken and cauliflower wrap and the salad. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend coming here to try the food as the prices are reasonable.

Wonderful gastronomical experience. Great service. The owner’s son welcomed us at the door and sat us in a table at the bar while we waited. They served us a coffee and water. Then we moved to the terrace. Beautiful sitting area. The food was good excellent. The waiter had a bit of attitude. But the food came quickly and was excellent. We ordered the tabbouleh, the eggplant beef and the starter platter with beef. Very good.

Lebanese restaurant in the center of Marrakech, off the main square. The food was amazing, with friendly service! Prices are above average but so is the quality. Dishes are plenty with great tasting hummus. It's very popular so make sure to reserve.

Lovely place to visit especially when you're willing to have a break from local food such as tajine and couscous, this is the right option for you. Wonderful staff there and the food is incredibly delicious with fair priceand big portions. So recommended.

This restaurant offers a refreshing change of pace in Marrakech. The flavors of Lebanese cuisine are well-executed. Keep in mind that the portion sizes lean towards moderate. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable, but it's a popular spot, so making a reservation is advisable.

A honest and genuine gem of a place. The best Lebanese food I have had even better than in London we loved this place when we came last year and this year when we came back to Morocco we went twice because the flavour combinations n the quality and everything about this food was just absolutely amazing. I loved the small twists n flavours they added to normal Lebanese food n still keeping the authenticity but adding small personal touches. I really n truly would happily eat here every day of the week. The food is to drool for. I wish I lived in Morocco anyway but then if I could have this everyday this would be heaven. Definitely definitely try it. We ended up trying mostly everything on their menu between the four times we visited n even the vegetarian food was in point. I can’t stress enough what a wonderful experience this was for us. We took our friends n we would take anyone who visited Morocco here. One thing to note the prices are slightly on the higher side for Morocco. Though I would say 100% worth every penny. Please try it for yourself n you won’t be disappointed. I have no regrets and we discovered this place by ourselves.

Absolutely outstanding food in the most beautiful setting - everything is delicious, though the eggplant, the lentil salad and the octopus are particularly noteworthy for how incredibly good they were. Awesome service and really beautiful setting (though they don’t serve alcohol). Hope to be back!

Really nice food, especially something vegetarian, which can be tricky to find. Well seasoned, good base products and well combined. The service was very friendly and welcoming, stayed in the background, observing and quick to respond. The tables felt a bit squeezed in at times but we experienced way worse.

Excellent food at the roof top in busy Market area. Service is ordinary compared to other places we had in Marrakech. Wraps and Hummus too good. Falafel was also nice as well.

Good and friendly Libanese restaurant which is much more than the entrance would suggest. Food is superb, if they remember to defrost it, and the open air terrace upstairs is very welcoming. Quite busy so make sure you reserve.

We usually like to go eating local junk food at local souks so visiting Naranj Lebanese was a guilty pleasure for us. Man, was it a pleasure! Amazingly delicious food, beautifully served. We chose two vegetarian options and they were brilliant. The service was also very nice.

We found this place by accident when walking back from Bahia palace to our Riad. The food and service was excellent. The falafel, eggplant dishes were full of flavors. The deserts were great as well. Will strongly recommend.

Decent meal here, good value, nice rooftop area. Service was friendly and helpful. Octopus was very good, chicken dish a bit creamy but tasty. All starters very good too. Only shame was all the lamb dishes were finished already. They were very good at communicating over email and changing dates/times. I would recommend and return here. FYI no alcohol is served here.

Amazing dinner, amazing service and nicely decorated. A must-go in Marrakech! Every dish was delicious (best hummus and baba ganoush we ate in Marrakech), juices very good, and the chocolate almond dessert was a delight. Service was excellent and very friendly. The owner went to each table and asked if everything was fine and when it got colder she offered some blankets, very nice and friendly lady :) Definitely going back whenever we go to Marrakech! Thank you very much for the incredible dinner and the nice atmosphere, we had a wonderful evening!

We went to this labanese restaurant after reading the reviews. We weren't disappointed at all. The cocktails were the best the service and food matched this. The portions are generous and we were very pleased to have a large selection of vegetarian food to choose from. This was by far the best food we have had on this trip to marakech.

Amazing food, really enjoyed it. The portions are very generous. The chips were so crispy. We preferred the chicken wrap to the meat one. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Amazing Libanese place! The food was so rich and packed with flavour. A special call out to the tenderness and perfect level of saltiness of the octopus that is served on top of an amazing garlicky hummus mixed with other dry fruits. They don't serve alcohol but the virgin drinks looked really good. Definitely worth the visit!

We ate here 5 times during our visit to Marrakech and the food was amazing every single time. The flavors are amazing and the falafel is definitely one of the best we ever had. The entire team is wonderful and the terrace is great for a lovely dinner

Super good! We visited this place twice and ordered the same thing. The chicken wrap and mezze platter was super spot on! But for me, the star was their Fatet Djaj: amazing flavours and texture!

What a gem! Naranj is a perfect family run business. The food and service were incredible and affordable. Over the past week we have only had one meal that has come close to the flavour of this meal and was a meal we ended up spending 900MAD- Naranj was a 1/3 of the price and so delicious. The roof terrace is small but beautiful - it's really charming. We loved it so much that we are going to visit again tomorrow. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Food doesn't just look gorgeous, but also tastes insane. One of the best places to eat in Marrakech, by far. The terrace is ideal for going with friends or to have a more intimate dinner (though garlicky). Recommend the mezze and aubergine dishes (veg friendly as well).

Amazing food!!!!! really kind staff. A bit pricey for Marrakech standards, but the quality of ingredients and the taste makes it worthwhile. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Naranj!

Another nice and quiet place in the middle of the chaotic souk. I've been directed here from another restaurant (which was fully booked), and I'm happy they did! The food is simple and not expensive at all, but is extremely filling. You will definitely leave with a full stomach! You can eat inside, but I definitely recommend the terrace on top.

The food was incredible! We had the mezzes platter and we were highly impressed. The restaurant is very nice inside, although a bit challenging to reach. Be sure to park in a nearby parking lot and walk. The server was very attentive and spoke great English. He showed us around the restaurant and led us to the rooftop terrace for pictures. I look forward to coming back in the future and trying some other dishes!

Lovely place with a great terrace. The whole restaurant has a perfect vibe with beautiful decor. The food was incredible too. Hummus was perfect and the meat was spiced deliciously. Always get the the mint tea. They don’t sweeten it here which is nice. You get sugar with it if you want to sweeten yourself. There’s also a bird cage with messenger birds on an adjacent rooftop which is fun to watch.

Aruba and her team are fantastic. This little gem in the Medina was serving delicious food, had attentive and friendly service and the price / value was very balanced. Aruba, the owner, is very nice, enjoyable to talk to and we will definitely come back here soon! I had the hummus with viande haché and can only recommend that choice as it was delicious !!!

Rarely do I feel so compelled to write a review while still sitting in the restaurant… but Naranj is THAT GOOD! Seriously stop your search now if you have found this place.. just come here and I promise you will not regret it. Excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere! Whether you’re looking for a change / something a little different than traditional Moroccan food or not, it is worth the visit! Ps.. order the Fatet Batinjane when you go, you can thank me later 😉

A must top in Marrakesh! It was the best food we had during our trip here. The level of service was 5 out of 5 as well. The rooftop terrace is very beautiful and a good break from the busy streets. The food had amazing flavors and was very filling. If you do not have a booking, highly recommend that you are there at exactly 12:30 when they open as by the time we left at 1:30pm there was a queue out the door. This place definitely lives up to the reviews!

The food is so delicious!! You have to check this place out. Myself and my partner both agreed it was the freshest, loveliest lunch we had in Marrakesh. The rooftop is especially nice! Thanks to the lovely Austrian owner who kept us entertained. Prices are cheap too :) would recommend the mixed mezze platter

It has a nice terrace and a nice service. The vegetal hummus was very tasty. We asked for chicken wraps. It was a lot of food and we paid 20€ each with virgin mojitos included.

Lovely place with great staff. The owner stopped by to make sure everything was good. Beef shawarma was good but a bit pricey. Kefta wrap was excellent, nicely seasoned meat with tasty grilled veggies. Fried potatoes sliced were a hit with everyone.

Think you’ll need to book this place - we just managed to squeeze in on no-reservation and onto the terrace. This was our first night in Marrakesh, hearing the call to prayer was particularly special. We had the aubergine and bulgar, mejadra and a vegetarian mezze, all shared between two people for 310 DH/ £12 per person. Aubergine and Bulgar - warm, crispy and dense aubergine which held the light pan fry very well. Fresh pepper salad added crispness to an overall soft dish. Mejadra- perfect accompaniment to the aubergine bulgar. Fresh rocket and a touch of vinegar. Baba ganoush and beetroot dish were fresh and tasty. Needed a little more salt, BG had a good Smokey flavour. Negatives: bread comes from a bag and isn’t warm, why waste nice mezze on bad bread ? Hummus was not to our taste but may be the standard way in Morocco. Falafel didn’t hit the spot. Too dense, dry and crispy- likely a result of being over fried. Needed a big old slather in some of the mezze to make it palatable. Blankets are offered on the terrace by the very kind staff. Tip them !

Great option for vegans! I went for dinner and wanted the falafel wrap but it's only available until 6pm for some reason. So, I went back to have it at lunchtime. I was impressed both times. You pay more here than other options but it's worth it imo. Lovely terrace and indoor seating options. The staff was friendly as well, particularly Nasr. If you're vegan you can also do the vegan mezze plate (even for one). Just be sure to specify that you don't eat yogurt or egg I also had the hummus and veg plate, which wasn't super exciting but was nice with bread and harissa. I really liked their harissa compared to when I got it in fes (too salty and not enough heat there)

Great food and drink. The have 3 levels of seating including a roof terrace. It can get hot so I recommend sitting in the shade. Portion sizes are good no room for dessert! Highly recommend the juices really nice. Service was really efficient didn't have to wait long for anything.

Beautiful presentation. Not a long wait. Falafels were amazing. The beef shawarma was done nicely. The octopus was grilled perfectly. Nice and tender, crispy ends.
