What a fantastic place! It tends to get very busy so if you don’t reserve a table, be there by 12-12.30 (opening time) for lunch. Beautiful view, friendly staff and the food is great! Moroccan cuisine with a twist. We had: Meze platter that consist in olives, pumpkin, beetroot (and ginger) and hummus with roasted peppers 10/10 Shaved cauliflower salad with almonds and strawberry 10/10 (the most interesting salad I’ve ever had!) Veggie plate 7/10 Fresh juices 10/10 (we tried beetroot and avocado 🥑) Beautiful view Definitely a must do when you are in Marrakesh!

The Moroccan green tea with local herbs and fresh mint was the perfect way to start my meal - it was refreshing and subtle with flavor. The zucchini fritters were with a nice slight crisp on the outside and delightfully tender on the inside, and the vibrant colors of the dish immediately caught my eye. Then came the Nomad Burger with spiced beef and lamb! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the patty itself was juicy and full of aromatic spices. But the true showstopper was the saffron date cake with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. It was pure heaven on a plate! The saffron added a subtle floral note, while the sweet dates and rich caramel created a harmonious blend of flavors. Topped with a scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream, every bite was like a symphony of sweetness and creaminess.

We had reserved dinner for 3 here. A popular spot. 5 star views and 5 star service! The food was good, some elements better than others. Their date cake (sticky toffee pudding) dessert and the potatoes from my lamb chop dish were 5 star. The rest of our meal was tasty too but more 4 star.

Polished spot for a more upscale dining experience. We were sat on one of the rooftop tables with a view of certain parts of the area. The calamari and the braised beef were excellent, my favorites main meal for sure. As for desert, you have to try the Saffron date cake.

It’s an amazing location above the souk and Medina streets. We really enjoyed our fresh juice and spiced Moroccan coffees. The traditional Moroccan dishes were good but not worth repeating. If you have a chance to visit it’s worth it for a refreshing drink.

A mid-priced restaurant that didn’t live up to expectations. This had come highly recommended but it didn’t really work for me. I’ve seen some mixed reviews. Perhaps it’s marmite. Some have complained that Nomad is too expensive - i didn’t think so. In fact… I’d gladly pay more for better quality food. On the positives the atmosphere is really good - lively, casual and fun. The view over the City is great. The service was very friendly and the food well presented but I offered the lamb. They were nicely cooked with a nice marinade but poor quality meat. Also… there’s no alcohol sold here. I do like a glass of wine with dinner but given how tucked away this place is, i probably wouldn’t have had a drink on this particular evening anyway

Excellent combination of French and Moroccan cuisine, they did a great job here. Our table has the greatest view on patio as well. Love the cold soup and zucchini pancakes. Lamb chop is amazing too, their cherry tomato is the sweetest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. Lamb burger and chicken tajine are ok. Desserts are so so.

Pleasant ambiance and lovely balconies with healthy modern Moroccan fare. Order one of the delicious smoothies and appetizers to share on the second terrace during the sunset hours. They also serve a sugar free juice made with lemon, cucumber and mint, it's a good place to try new things and I hope to come back someday.

Good overall quality of the food and amazing rooftop. I took one star off because I think the food is overpriced, service was slow, and the portion sizes were very small (went for another round of dinner elsewhere). All dishes were fine but were missing the punch to make this place outstanding.

Excellent spot, hidden among the craziness of the souk, this place is perfect. Make sure to get a table in the roof terrace, the gentle breeze will keep you cool. The service was stellar and the food to die for. Calamari is one not to be missed, also the chicken with spinach and beans. Highly recommend.

Great view over la place des epices. Very delicious food and nice varieties of non alcoholic cocktails. A personal must try if you get the chance to visit, is the saffron date cake. I usually don’t take deserts but this is a must. A reservations is highly recommended. It is easy to do so over their website. Entrance is a little hidden around the corner but since this place is quite famous just ask and someone will point you to the entrance. All in all worth a visit no matter lunch or dinner.

This place is for tourists. Every dish costs more than $15 USD and it's pretty much fine dining portion. The view is pretty good but it's not the most amazing I have seen. The food themselves tasted fine, but the flavor is pretty westernized. Frankly I am not sure why most of my friends who visited Marrakesh recommended this place. First, it can get kind of busy in the afternoon, and although the service was excellent, the food was just okay.

First of all, this is a nice restaurant. The food was good but not fine dining. There is absolutely no alcohol, not even Moroccan wines, which is a shame. The view from the rooftop is meh, you pretty much look onto trash. Overall, I am sad to say this place is overrated. There are much better restaurants in Marrakech. Surprisingly limited vegetarian options.

Had a lovely dinner on the terrace. Everything we ate was good and the service was top notch. Three mezze platter was especially good. No alcohol served. Deserts were especially yummy. Total cost with two appetizers was $60 for two people. The walk to the restaurant through the medina was safe and fun, and we walked to the main square after dinner just 5 minutes away.

Food: very tasty, but vegetarian options could have a bit more finesse. The vegetarian plate looked quite small, i had the couscous with vegetables, it was good. Prices rather high though. Service: very friendly and very fast, 5/5 Atmosphere: rooftop terrace very nice, inside seating area rather simple / not the atmosphere i would go for. Overall: good experience, vegetarian/vegan menue could be extended

Hostess was kind of rude walking in but everything else was very nice. If possible, when making a reservation ask for a table on the very top- the view is beautiful. The decor is very nice and the food is amazing. I recommend the date cake 🤤

The rumors are true… this is the best rooftop terrace in town! Make sure to make a reservation to be able to sit up there. The view was stunning, but lets talk food. The best thing they offer is the sardine tart. As someone whose not a big sardine fan, i’ve never loved anything more. Its a must try. Everything else was good but not amazing. The land chops were delicious, but not a fan of their chicken tagine.

Somebody Feed Phil fans find the way to Nomad and it does live up to its reputation. Bookings are essential, especially if you want the rooftop and when booking, make sure you clearly request the upper rooftop as there are two levels and to experience the best of a Marrakesh sunset book for 6pm. Food is good, especially the Sardine tart and the veggie fritter. The squid was a little disappointing (over sauced) but the lamb burger was really satisfying. Make sure you leave room for dessert, they are all enjoyable.

We came here following recommendations and seeing hype on Instagram but left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The service was great, friendly and speedy, but the only vegetarian main was a plate of seasonal vegetables…which was some carrot and beetroot, with chickpeas and a dip. Not worth the price for that unfortunately. We also shared the zucchini fritters which were excellent, and the cauliflower tabbouleh which was quite bland and dry. The saffron date cake with salted caramel sauce was really tasty. In summary, a great place for the vibes and sunset, but not great vegetarian options for us.

Great rooftop in the city center to have lunch. Make sure you go all the way up (4 floors)! Great view, breeze, and the food was fantastic. Lamb Couscous is quite filling, highly recommend.

This was a good place to unwind from the chaos down below. The prices were not bad for being one of the better restaurants of the city, and the type of place it was. The food and drinks were ok at this price point, but again this is a nice refuge from the chaos. For the price, you can certainly do better in the actual market, but I would come back here again. Service was not great, but I’ve had worse.

Best rooftop in Marrakech. We’ve been many times to Marrakech, last one was a few weeks ago and I found a bit disappointing that most of the vegan options are gone compared to the other times we visited before covid. We could only had a soup and a normal salad that found overpriced and a coliflower dish that needed more spices. We would appreciate if more vegan options can be add to the menu like used to before. Everything else was perfect, the other food looked delicious. Make sure to make a reservation!

Nice rooftop restaurant in the centre of Marrakech, close to Place des Epices. The serve a mix of Morrocain food with contemporary flavours. Everything is fresh and homemade. There are also vegetarian options available. The view on the rooftop terrace is lovely, both for lunch and diner. On one side you can see the lively square, on the other side the Atlas mountains.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here a handful of times. I can tell you that I’ve tried everything on the menu (as of 2019) and that each dish was outstanding. I ordered everything on the menu my last trip there. It was the most memorable meal of my life. The vibes are immaculate whether you’re dining indoors or out. There’s something I won’t ever forget about eating fruit salad while watching the sunset over the medina. I still dream about it and hope to return as soon as possible. 💝

Do yourself a favor and get ripped off elsewhere in the medina. The food is extremely overpriced for Moroccan standards, lacks any sesasoning and was served lukewarm (reheated).

Service was spectacular! Very attentive and friendly. Zucchini fritters are a must, they’re perfectly cooked and spiced. Unfortunately the veg with the fish was okay, peas were over cooked and chalky texture. The lamb chaps were well cooked. The complimentary bread was cold. Not wheelchair accessible as many stairs.

This place is right in the middle of Medina, which is really close to everything. Lovely rooftop restaurant, with a nice view of the market. Food was delicious, mostly traditional. Probably my favourite restaurant in Marrakech! The vibes on the rooftop were lovely, the whole set up was so nice. The food was a fusion, between modern and Moroccan, which had several vegetarian options. I think my favourite was the desert! Absolutely divine!!! TIP - definitely book in advance. It’s very busy and will be booked out, we booked 2 weeks in advance before we came.

The food is the best in town. So good that made me come back. While the service was impeccable the first time, the second I felt a bit neglected and ended up ordering just a drink and an entree to leave soon. Maybe was just bad luck…

Good Terrace for the sunset. Preferably to reserve in advance. Can pay in card. Not very loud, the waiter very very attendand. We had no reservation and they placed us first inside until the place on the terrace was free, not long waiting, we could finaly enjoy the sunset. Prices ok.

  • 4/5 Joe R. 6 months ago on Google
This came highly recommended but it felt a little touristy and slightly underwhelming. Perhaps I was too hyped Views are nice. It was about $50 MAD for two apps and an entree, juice and water. I had the seafood salad, the garden salad (which I didn’t realize were the same but one added shrimp and octopus (I wish the server told me) and then the beef tagine (very good). They don’t serve alcohol but their fresh juices were delish. When I return, I’ll probably this restaurant.

The staff is super friendly and their terrace is great for a sunset dinner with an awesome view. Foodwise it was pretty tasty but not outrageous. Due to it’s popularity Nomad is more on the pricier side and it can be tough to get a good table at peak lunch or dinner hours so make sure to reserve a spot upfront.

  • 5/5 Ernest M S. 6 months ago on Google
Went on a recommendation and was not disappointed. A tad apprehensive at first as the restaurant does not serve alcohol 🍺 Need not of worried as the nonalcoholic beverages where fabulous. Attentive quick service, fresh food which is mostly home grown. Fabulous views. So glad we went. 😊

I just had a starter and dessert. The vegetarian pastilla was delicious. Orange cake a bit ordinary. Arrived about 5:15 for a very late lunch. I missed the early dinner rush. Good service, I chased them a bit to be quick... a good experience

  • 5/5 Savannah 5 months ago on Google
Except service with flavourful food! The interior is beautiful and smells amazing. You can either sit inside or outside on the terrace. The terrace has an amazing view of Marrakesh afternoon or evening. We had the grilled marinated lamb dish as well as the curry marinated chicken dish, both which were very tasty and had very good seasoning. We also had the lemon, mint, and cucumber juice. It was tart and refreshing. For dessert we had we had the chocolate cake and vanilla pastry. I would recommend the vanilla pastry over the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was a bit spicy. Overall great service and food, definitely check it out for an elevated dining experience in Marrakesh.

This place came highly recommended by everyone, tourist guides, various travel blogs etc. It was nice, good food, peaceful rooftop terrace but perhaps a little overpriced. Definitely recommend booking ahead as it gets very busy. The saffron pudding is excellent (a variation of the classic sticky toffee pudding). We had starter, main and pudding each.

The place is really well decorated in the Moroccan style. However food is not special and a bit too pricey. It is also very touristic and crowded. Staff is fine but really overwhelmed.

We ordered lamp sticks, I think they tried to catch the sheep for a while. Because we waited our orders almost for 2 hours.. Staff was friendly but kitchen should faster

Nice rooftop. The lamb was pretty good, but I think the restaurant is better for atmosphere than food. The bone marrow was disappointing. Although, the dessert was my favorite!

Had a lovely late afternoon lunch on the rooftop! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, a mixture of local with modern Moroccan cuisine. We enjoyed the zucchini fritters, the calamari with aubergine, the lamp chops and Madagascar vanilla ice-cream. Nice people, great service, warm on the terrace even in a mid February evening. Definitely worth a visit.

  • 5/5 Matthew L. 6 years ago on Google
Terrific meal with excellent food, but also an amazing setting on a rooftop. This is like an oasis in the middle of the souks. It was nice to be able to be above the chaos that is the market in the Medina while enjoying a comfortable setting and very good food. You should make a reservation though because it is quite popular. The service was outstanding.

  • 4/5 Grace S. 3 years ago on Google
Great place in Marrakech. Usually a queue so well worth booking a reservation - even for lunch.

  • 5/5 Chris 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful rooftop dining. Splendid food. Great service. The fish do the day was fab. The tagine inspired chicken and the lamb chops too, as was the calamari. The restaurant was less Moroccan than expected, but what is there to complain about when the experience was great.

  • 4/5 L T. 2 years ago on Google
Great dinner, we ordered lamb shank and calamari and cleaned out the plates. Definitely more of a tourist place but offers a nice change of palette if you're sick of tajine. Bread was cold and ventilation didn't feel that great hence the four stars.

  • 5/5 Kimberly M. 1 year ago on Google
My favorite dinner in Marrakech so far! I had the grilled marinated lamb chops and they were delicious! Meat was tender and well cooked. It was paired with potatoes and cherry tomatoes that had great flavor. The rooftop is also beautiful, and great at sunset. Highly recommend!! Gets crowded in the evenings though, so a reservation is probably best.

Great location and nice vibe/style but disappointing food. This place has a great roof terrace with patio heaters. Service was good. I had the Nomad lamb burger and chocolate desert which came with ginger chocolate ice cream. The burger lacked flavour and was very bland. The potatoes were good but I needed more. The desert looked great but was dry and lacked a depth of flavour, however the chocolate ginger ice cream was excellent. For the price we paid we both felt let down.

  • 3/5 Jani V. 2 years ago on Google
We dined on the rooftop. The staff was very attentive and everything worked fine. Food is ok but really nothing super special. Kitchen did prepare food well and portions also looked nice. When we were leaving and got our bill it had items we didn't order. This seemed a bit fishy to me and I am only giving 3 stars.

  • 5/5 Evaldas P. 2 years ago on Google
Looks like very popular place among tourist, unfortunately don't serve alcohol. However, sunset view is great from their terrace. We went to have a snack, plan was to take some beer but as they didn't serve the visit for us was quite short. But from the snack quality it looked that their kitchen has really good quality.

  • 5/5 Zhao M. 1 year ago on Google
We had dinner on the roof top. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious - I had tarte de sardines, calamari with mountain spinach, and a date and saffron cake. All three dishes were amazing. My husband also loved his food. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The sunset view from the roof top was amazing too! All in all a great experience. Highly recommend. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time! So worth it!

A busy lunch venue. I enjoyed my meal here as it is a step away from the traditional Moroccan food. The food here is light refreshing and I would say the highlight is actually the octopus and sardine salad.

  • 4/5 Nandi 2 years ago on Google
Fun vibes and beautiful terraces with healthy modern Moroccan fare. Order one of their delicious juices and mezze to share on the second terrace during sunset hours. They also serve a sugar free juice made of lemon, cucumber and mint.

A wonderful restaurant to eat at. Everything we ate was extremely delicious. We got the cauliflower salad, zucchini, chicken tajine, and lamb chops. For dessert the raspberry rose sorbet is out of this world. I would eat a gallon of it if I could. Also the staff was absolutely wonderful. During our dinner it was a little chilly and they brought over hooded blankets for people to wear. The best thing though was that a couple came in with their baby and to give them a few minutes some of the staff walked around the little dining area and kept the baby entertained.

Great restaurant right in the Medina. This place had a lot of hype on instagram so I had to visit it and I was not disappointed! The ambience was chill and nice and the views were good too. The food was so so good! Definitely one of the best places I visited in Marrakesh. I was really impressed. Will definitely visit again !

Great tasting food. Attentive service. The night we went, it was quite windy on the roof terrace. Cool ambience. The lights were dim, so it was hard to see the food properly. 9% service charge was added to the bill, which was unusual for Marrakech. Good experience. Would recommend.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city! If you’re wondering if it’s touristy, IT IS, but it’s worth the hype! The food is so good, their own take on traditional Moroccan food. Make sure to have a reservation, or it will be hard to get a table. If you visit during the summer, sitting on the rooftop might seem like a good idea, but it’s REALLY hot, so keep that in mind😂 we had a few dishes, all delicious and well-priced. Also, the date cake is to die for!! I can't wait to go back😍

Now this is a place you need to visit for a relaxing evening and amazing food. The view if you can get to the top floor is amazing, I found this jem of a place on Google and we wasn't disappointed at all. We had a starter, main course and desert! Before the sun went down they spray slightly to cool you down.
