Great place to relax and drink wine and have snacks! The downstairs is dining, and the top two floors are lounges for drinking. Tasteful decor in the lounges, and classic French service in the dining area.

Delightful old style colonial restaurant serving western dishes. Large, airy seating available, both outdoor, indoor and on the second floor. Service was good and attentive. The French baguette and butter were good starters! Serving portions were good. A great way to spend an afternoon lunch in a wonderful ambience. On the pricey side.

The best coffee shop and restaurant in New Medina. I strongly recommend the club-sandwich. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing!!

Found this exquisite gem accidentally and it made our rainy day into a remarkable one. Great selection of cocktails, wine, and amidst a stunning and romantic setting.

I don't recommend this place at all as the food wasn't good for such prices. The service of the restaurant is bad and not professionnal it has more of a snack vibe service with the waiters shouting at cilents! We did order a bottle of red wine and the waiter asked if we want it ice cubes with it which I thought was funny !!! On top of that we have been scammed when it came to the bill as the waiter expressed there was a missing 20 euros when it wasn't yet we gave it. Save your money it isn't worth it.

We came for a quick cup of coffee. The service was friendly but we always had to leave the table to signal for assistance as nobody was stationed in our visible area outside. The price for a cappuccino, seeing the very small portion size, was a bit steep but one is sitting in one if the hotspots of Marrakech and I guess fire that one has to pay the price. Next time I come I will try their dinner inside the historic ambience of the dining room.

I/we come here every time I am in Marrakech. If you meet me in the lounge, business class, or on the streets of Morocco, I will always encourage you to come here. Every meal is excellent. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is what one wants to start an evening out in Marrakech.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and good food Perfect combination That was during the last 15 years, but unfortunately things change They have now some kind of weird called "updated policies" based on people profiling The security guy and the desk hostess might deny you access based on silly pretexts just because you're not a foreign tourist (even if the same conditions apply to someone else whom the access was granted only because they think of him as a €€ wallet) The management should do something about it or it's gonna ruin the 100 years reputation they built Latest update: hopefully the management took improved What's needed and now I'm back to my initial review and still in love with the place Thanks Eric

Building and decr are exceptional and worth the visit. Staff is helpful. The menu is typical French bistro. We has a Tarine thatbwas OKb, andive slad that wasn't good and a duck confit that was good. I wish the food matched the atmosphere better.

Delicious drinks and meals, but the decor is truly inspiring. So far the best place in Marrakech to find a real espresso and the service is delightful

Nice ambiance, a great little spot to stop for a drink/snack in the afternoon. Lovely to sit outdoors, and the food is good quality! (Enjoyed the tarama and toast)

Loved this place. Glamourous French vibe. No alcohol outside on the terrace, but inside and on the patio they serve drinks. The upstairs is fantastic too in the evening. We came for lunch and went back in the evening.

This place is one of the best places in Marrakech concerning the services and everything else but today I was very angry because one of my friends invited us to have some drinks but they refuse that and they said that we need to have something if we want to stay and when we refuse that gently they insist that and I don’t know why our friend had already demand , we have already done this many times their and we no that the client need to be always in the first place but they disrespected us I’m so upset and I will never go their again

Greeting by such a friendly host for lunch today. Made to feel very welcome! Decided to sit inside as it was lovely and cool. Our server was on point and very professional and nothing was a problem. Food was delicious. Monkish skewers. beef tagine and gazpacho - perfect! We last dined here 15 years ago on our honeymoon and we was not disappointed. Highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere, with great breakfast. Especially their bread basket is the best with fresh baguettes and one of the best croissant I had in my life. Bacon sunny side up egg was delish. Service was ok.

An absolutely beautiful place to have a bottle of wine and get drunk whilst you watch the beautiful cosmopolitan Moroccans pass by. Super friendly service, great desserts and awesome list of wines. I may have stumbled out of here once or twice during my time in Marrakech

Still one of the best on culinary map of Marrakech. Perhaps the prices are higher than average but at least you know what you are paying for. Proper French cuisine. Add to it original period interiors and you have the perfect mix. Both lunch and dinner. Special occasion or if you would like to spoil yourself a little.

Wonderful modern french restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. Beautiful bar and lounge area for just drinks if you prefer. Highly recommend the steak and mashed potatoes, steak is cooked perfectly to order. Beef carpaccio with. Parmesan is tasty! The staff are very formal, we were ‘allowed’ in with man wearing shorts and were asked to take our bottle of water off the table top. Service is attentive and efficient.

Really amazing place. Food is top quality. Atmosphere is beautiful and staff are attentive. They even have gluten free bread and pasta. Amazing fresh lemon juice too. We had octopus stew, mashed potatoes and a really nice green salad. And ice cold Casablanca beer.

The location is great and the actual restaurant is beautiful, but the food was not up to par. We had the lamb rack and a teak and both were terrible. As a starter we had an octopus salad that was good. The place is worth visiting, just manage your expectations of food.

Amazing ambiance. Catered to more tourists as I did not see many local Moroccon cuisine options. But overall great service and food was delicious.

Ate here alone on Christmas Day during a solo trip. The service was great. The food was wonderful. The building is beautiful! I walked here after visiting the YSL museum & gardens for lunch. Definitely worth visiting whilst in Marrakech.

A very secluded place and cozy. If you request the farm chicken you may have to wait almost 1 hour + other than that all is flawless

First time dined here, I have has drinks here before. Efficient and professional staff, rather formal than friendly but then again, I assume that is the standard, the management is trying to achieve. Got a visit from , I assume was the manager, more friendly, it's a nice touch. Ordered the butter fried sole, served with a cream sauce and steamed potatoes, baguette with butter. All cooked to perfection . Would highly recommend.

Didn't take too many photos. Tried the lamb leg - slightly dry but very big - enough for 2. Side dishes and dessert were good

Stunning ambiance and fantastic food. We enjoyed the on the house nibbles for drinks and the food was equally impressive. Classic French dining experience in Morocco which was a nice change from the local cuisine. Recommended wholeheartedly.

The food was excellent, but make sure they don't sit you on the second floor. Not only are the tables and seats very low and more suited for coffee or drinks, but the second is also for smoking. Not very nice when having a meal. But, as written, there is excellent food, and I would absolutely go there again...just not on the second floor.

My wife suffered from suspected food poisoning at the Grande Cafe de la Poste on 18 May 22. She rapidly became violently ill, vomited and collapsed after eating cheese. The waiters were useless and did not care - they just focused on other diners. Management were non-existent. They failed to order an ambulance. Fortunately there was a doctor dining, who assisted until the ambulance that he called, arrived. With no crisis management procedures in place, suspect hygiene controls, very high prices, and the complete lack of customer care for my wife, we will never return to this place, and advise other potential customers to look elsewhere.

I loved their take on the Moroccan pancakes and their bacon and eggs is a nice treat if you are into a bigger breakfast. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious! Their dinner was less impressive, the steak was not a great cut and just ok. Maybe some of the other options are ok, but the prices are higher than competition in the area. The outdoor seating is very nice in the mornings and the building has quite a history from the early 1900s being an original post office.

I've been to this place twice, many years apart. Compared to the first visit I thought this time that the prices were a little higher than warranted and that the venue felt more style over substance. The food was okay, the cocktail was okay but it isn't a must visit.

3.5, nice French restaurant in a more modern part of Morocco. serve healthy meals and good local wine. the interior is really nice. found the food slightly flavorless but otherwise pretty good !

  • 1/5 Dan M. 2 years ago on Google
It’s insanely overpriced, yes, which would have been okay if the food was good and fresh. It wasn’t. Lucky we didn’t get food poisoning. Would not recommend to anyone.

Delicious food and a lovely bottle of Morrocan white wine, beautiful surroundings in the old French Post Office an absolute must on any visit to Marrakech. The Grand Marnier souffle was the best souffle I have ever seen. Lovely mixture of Moroccan and classic French dishes.
