Nestled within the enchanting tapestry of Marrakech is Casa Jose, a true Spanish gem. The ambiance is a subtle amalgamation of traditional Spanish charm interwoven with Moroccan vibrance, offering a dining experience steeped in warm hospitality and rich flavors. Our culinary journey commenced with a Russian Salad crowned with succulent gambas, presenting a dance of textures and refreshing tang. The pimientos de padrón were a celebration of simplicity and earthiness, a dish with a rustic charm. A special mention must be bestowed upon the patatas bravas, which bestowed our palate with layers of fiery warmth and crispy delight. Every bite was accentuated by fresh bread, an assortment of splendid dips, and exquisite olive oil, each elevating the flavors to heavenly realms. Adding a delightful surprise to our starters were the boquerones, bathed in olive oil and garlic, radiating freshness and zesty vibrancy. As we ventured into the mains, the gambas pil pil welcomed us with its sizzling, aromatic allure. It was exactly how one yearns for it to be—hot, spiced to perfection, and utterly delectable, capturing the essence of Spanish cuisine impeccably. To my utmost satisfaction, Casa Jose extends an array of bottled beers, each harmonizing splendidly with the flamboyant medley of flavors, and offering a nuanced layer to the overall dining experience. Casa Jose is not merely a restaurant; it is a sanctuary of exquisite Spanish cuisine set against the magical backdrop of Marrakech. It transports you through a sensory voyage of culinary brilliance, distinguished by its authentic flavors, meticulous preparations, and unswerving dedication to quality. The experience leaves an indelible imprint on the palate, beckoning one to return and relive the symphony of tastes and aromas. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone eager to partake in a sophisticated, authentic Spanish culinary journey amidst the mystic allure of Marrakech. The harmonious blend of flavors, inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service make Casa Jose a beacon of gastronomic delight.

Delicious Spanish food. However, the restaurant can get very noisy when it's busy.

Casa Jose" in Marrakech is a unique seafood haven in the heart of Morocco. Despite being far from the sea, it manages to bring the ocean to your plate. The restaurant's dedication to serving fresh, flavorful fish dishes is truly impressive. Whether you're a local or a visitor, you'll find delight in the seafood offerings. The wine and beer selection adds a global touch, making it a fantastic spot for a diverse dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance, combined with its exotic location, creates a memorable and soothing atmosphere. For a taste of the sea in Marrakech with a side of excellent wine and beer, "Casa Jose" is a seafood paradise worth exploring.

For being a restaurant, the tapas and the food has to be excellent, hence, our offer was somewhere a little bit under the average. The staff are cool and helpful.. Quiet place for friends hanging out for a drink and an OKAY bite..

We did not eat here and cannot say anything about the food. We came here for the Sangria and it was GREAT. For 180dh you get a big jar of sangria. You get some olives and bread and spreads with it, just like in Spain. The waiters were very attentive.

Before I get to the food, I want to talk about the environment. As one waiter told me: "smoking everywhere." Indoors, outdoors, smoking everywhere. If you are irritated by second-hand smoking, consider going elsewhere. The paella we ordered as a main was so-so. The seafood wasn't overcooked, but instead the rice was mushy. There was none of the crust on the edge that we love. The shrimp croquetas were great and the complimentary bread included some amazing dipping sauces. This is also one of the few places that will serve alcoholic drinks.

Nice food but very bad service too slow you need to order a head at least two hours before coming to the restaurant if someone is hungry I don’t recommend him to to come directly only for soup it one hour if you can imagine this was only soup salad also after soups so this what i face to be honest the food is nice but service too slow sorry this was fact !?

This is a Spanish restaurant situated in the heart of the Gueliz neighbourhood of Marrakech. Public parking is easily available near by. The Moroccan wine Chateau Roslane is exquisite. The vibe is bohemian chic and the clientele is varied: lots of tourists and locals. The Chef is Spanish and the menu is quite extensive. The food is fresh and of good standard. There is an extensive wine list of Moroccan,French and Spanish wines. The draft beer is called Casablanca. The service is mediocre though considering we did not have our table cleared after we had said we were finished. Our waiter did not bother pour our wine for us, we were somehow forgotten. We then asked for our bill and all our finished plates were still on the table as we left. Please remember smoking is allowed indoors so please abstain if you are a non smoker. They have a small terrace available so perhaps this a better option. I would have given this review 4 stars but no it’s not worth it.

Food was really good but the service is horrible. Got my first drink 45 minutes later. For the second one, the waiter never showed up.

The original Casa Jose. Solid and enjoyable Spanish food with a Moroccan flair. Never have been disappointed and my visit here reinforced that reality. Highly recommend the gambas de'ajo.

Cosy place, reasonable prices , and very tasty food 👍🙂. Tired from too many Tagine ; I decided to go for a sea food, was advised by a friend to come to this place. Located in Gulize area which is very active area full of restaurants, coffee shops , and good place to do shopping as well. Anyway, coming back to the food; I had a Moroccan salad, fried anchovy’s, marinated sardine and my main course was a sole ; all is perfect. I was surprised that they don’t have an English manue; but the lady waitress had a soft copy of the English manue In her IPhone 😳😳😳. Worth going 👍
