Our
visit
as
the
highlight
of
a
short
trip
to
Morocco
was
disappointing.
We
were
part
of
a
large
birthday
group.
Our
son
had
to
leave
early
to
catch
a
flight
and
just
wanted
a
glass
of
bubbles.
They
served
the
last
of
a
bottle
which
was
flat.
A
replacement
was
then
served
from
a
bottle
at
room
temperature.
On
complaining,
ice
was
brought
and
the
middle-aged
French
head
waiter,
who
seemed
also
the
manager,
said
it
was
quite
normal
to
add
ice
into
the
flute
of
champers.
Really??!!
Then
my
wife
asked
if
a
main
dish
had
gluten.
No
she
was
told.
When
it
came
she
had
her
doubts,
so
asked
again.
This
time
the
manager
brought
up
the
chef,
and
both
were
emphatic,
loudly
insinuating
that
their
many
years
in
the
trade
were
under
question.
But
overnight
my
wife
had
the
stomach
ache
typical
of
gluten.
If
it
wasn't
from
the
main
course,
it
could
only
have
been
the
first
course.
This
too
she
first
checked
was
gluten
free.
I
ordered
a
house
special,
steak
with
morel
mushrooms,
one
of
the
most
expensive
dishes
on
the
menu.
The
sauce
was
incredibly
bland.
The
steak
was
medium
cooked,
whereas
I
ordered
red.
Definitely
disappointing.
Several
others
in
the
party
were
not
really
happy.
We
made
no
fuss,
to
make
sure
the
birthday
person
was
unaware
and
had
a
good
time.
When
I
occasionally
write
a
review,
it's
very
positive.
I
hate
criticizing.
But
what
annoyed
me
here
was
the
attitude
of
the
restaurant:
rather
arrogant
and
slightly
careless
about
quality.
But
every
resto,
no
matter
how
good
or
careful,
must
have
bad
moments.
Judging
by
all
the
other
positive
reviews,
I
was
probably
just
a
touch
unlucky
on
this
day.
Handling
a
large
group
must
also
be
challenging.
